We were in Palm Beach for a long weekend and managed to grab a table for Valentine’s Day dinner. We really loved this spot, and we are foodies. The ambience is chill and modern. The menu is creative and the food itself is delicious. We found the service to be impeccable and loved our waitress, Heather, who made great recommendations and was wonderfully welcoming. The cocktails are inventive and the wine list is solid. We enjoyed a super Tuscan, and recommend the Brussels sprouts, oysters, mahi mahi and the smoked fish dip was the surprise winner of a medley of wonderful dishes. We also loved the Peruvian salad. Save room for the key lime pie with coconut crust. The chef serves only sustainably farmed fish. He is responsible and an expert menu designer and chef.

Really enjoyed PB Catch. The service and food was good, and the restaurant is nice. It’s definitely not inexpensive. I had never tried the blue crab claws, but they were really, really tasty. Loved the squash & feta salad, and the Chilean Seabass was so flavorful and delicate. I left feeling very satisfied without being completely stuffed(which was great). We sat by the saltwater aquarium and if you enjoy aquariums, this is a decent one — minimalist in style(not my preferred style) but nice nonetheless.

While I appreciated my sea bass entrée and bread pudding dessert, I did feel let down by the microscopic appetizer we received. There are other places on the island that pack more flavor and leave me filled after a multi-course meal. Pleasant atmosphere and the seafood is very fresh indeed. All in all, quite good, but not amazing.

What a big disappointment. Just had dinner there and can’t stop wondering if there is a new chef. Last year fish was excellent and there were many fresh grilled fish choices. This season only a few choices and not one plain fresh grilled fish. They were overly salty and too much sauce. I guess I know why the restaurant was mostly empty. Will not return. Too bad.

From the moment we were greeted by the host to being waited on by Leo, we had a great experience. The cocktails were unique and expertly prepared, especially the hibiscus cocktail. We enjoyed very fresh oysters, a very creative«sea-cuterie» plate, tuna, sea bass, and a juicy and very tasty burger. This restaurant is definitely not for those on a budget, but I would find it worthy of a splurge for a special occasion. I can’t wait to go back!

PB Catch definitely has four star quality food but loses one star for the portion to price ratio. The restaurant is very nice, clean and modern. The tables are very close together making for a nosy atmosphere so it’s difficult to have a dinner conversation. Started with the sea cuterie with mussels, octopus, and fish dip. To say they were small portions is an understatement. Literally a teaspoon of food. Had the lobster and sea bass for main courses which again were excellent. Definitely one of the best tasting sea bass I have eaten but there’s no extras with the dinner so you only get fish on a plate. For $ 45 they could dress it up a little. Great food but significantly overpriced.

Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Beautiful inside. Excellent cocktails. Delicious food(although the sea-cutteri was hit and miss). But the portion sizes are so hilariously small that I cannot give more than 3 stars. My suggestion is to have a late lunch before going for dinner.

Came here for an anniversary, food was excellent, the sea bass was the best I have ever had. Dessert was ok. The manager at one point walked around and greeted the people next to us, it doesn’t seem like they do anything special if your celebrating. Either way the waiter was attentive and food was great!

Had a wonderful, first rate dinner. Probably one of our best seafood dinning experiences! First off, the place is Beautiful, contemporary and classy design. We choose the dinning room and were seated in a very comfy banquet. The service was great. Attentive, helpful and friendly without being overbearing. As an example, my espresso was served WITH my dessert as requested, not 5 minutes before the dessert arrived or 10 minutes after(as happens in far too many other places). The food… INCREDIBLE! We had their mixed smoked fish platter as an app(they call it seacuterie… ok to me that’s a bit pretentious, but then again so is using the term charcuterie on a menu. Doesn’t matter, the flavor was killer). Each was served with a unique preparation with special garnish that balances the smokiness of the fish. All were great, but the octopus tourchon & scallops were our favs. I had the grouper, K had the Lobster salad. Both were perfectly cooked, well balanced and just incredible. The grouper was served with a side of lobster ravioli that could have served as an entry in its own right! The banana bread pudding was good, and although it was very pretty, the taste /texture /balance was not as spectacular as the rest of our meal had been. We are fans and will be back!

Starter: summer salad– green goddess dressing was great! Me: I went with Ryan’s suggestion and did half portions of the Halibut and Chilean Sea Bass — Amazing! Halibut was probably the best I’ve ever had. Sea Bass was excellent as well and both were cooked perfect! And if you are a foodie you know that with fish that is huge! Wife: she had the Tuna Stack and still can’t stop talking about it. Desert: We went with Key Lime pie… had to because it had coconut crust and anything coconut is a favorite with wife. These guys are doing food justice! Server: very attentive and professional! Ask for Ryan! Great guy!

So, I’m halfway through my meal & I just realized it’s so good, I don’t want it to end. I’m slowing down so I can savor every bite. They had me at the Cucumber Basil Martini. And this sandwich, this Tuna Stack sandwich is so perfect that I’m at a loss for words. I need a distraction so I taste some of my husbands Chilean Sea Bass. It is cooked to perfection and so flavorful that we have to compliment the chef. I feel like I’m writing a love novel & this is the wrong venue. I’ll stop here and just tell you to ask for Ryan. Great server, very professional. Ask for him quick, this guy is going places!

I am giving this resturants a one star because we arrived at 8.30pm on a Saturday night, to find that they were out of Chilean Sea Bass as well as Grouper! There are only three fish dishes on this menu and to be out of two, of the three, shows poor management skills!

Wow! More than just grilled fish on a plate. These guys know how to be creative with every dish. Had Walleye from Lake Erie which is unusual for down in South Florida. Seacuterie choice were inventive and only available here. Salmon Pastrami, mmmmm good! Octopus and mussels as well. Carrot cake by Chef Derrick with bourbon pineapple was delish. Changing to casual surf shack for the summer. Should be fun. Coming back next season for full menu for sure.

Overall an amazing experience. Daniel, the manager, is always so accommodating! Very personable and professional person. The food i tried last night was absolutely incredible! From the starters to the desert, the culinary team seems to take a lot of pride in the food that comes out of the kitchen. They also have a happy hour from 4:30 — 6:30 i believe.

Came here tonight for dinner and I am so happy that I did! Service was FANTASTIC. We arrived early for our reservation and were given options if we wanted to be seated early or wait for the original table. I had a pear martini which was super yummy. Water glasses never were empty and they were very quick to making sure any needs were taken care of. I had the scallops and my friend had the mahi mahi. Both were truly delicious and well presented. Next time I am back in the area, I will be back without a doubt! Thank you for such a fantastic time!

I have no idea why the ratings on this place are as low as they are, because this is by far my favorite place in Palm Beach. Maybe the people here aren’t ready for it? I don’t know, but I highly recommend you get your ass here if you’re not looking for a super stuffy dining experience. The ambience is modern and a little sexy, with sleek white and blue clean lines everywhere and an interesting and varied menu. We went for happy hour and sat at the bar and ended up getting so happy we stayed for dinner and beyond. The cocktails were delicious and flowing freely. I started with the Muude, which I’m still not sure I exactly know how to pronounce except to say it tasted refreshing on that hot afternoon. It was vanilla vodka, and fresh muddled mint and lime, as well as Gosling’s Ginger Beer. Am I ever going to throw anything named Gosling off my table? No, I am not. I wanted to keep ordering those, but I am an adventurous lady and had to keep trying something new. I also loved the Spice Martini and the Blackberry Mint Gin and Tonic. At any other restaurant, those would be my favorites, but the Muude was so good, I want to call it my one and only from here on out. We had the happy hour special oysters, $ 1 each for freshly shucked. Everything was so great we stayed a little longer and got the Seacuterie plate. The Seacuterie is a seafood charcuterie plate. We got the choice of three options/The salmon pastrami came with rye croutons and a house 1000 island sauce and sauerkraut. There was a house smoked fish dup with big crunchy flatbread crackers. My favorite was the smoked mussel piperade. Two of my favorite things in the world are mussels and roasted red peppers, so I could’ve snacked on this all night and been a happy lady. I can’t recommend highly enough how fun and interesting these choices were. I would, and will, come back just to play around in the seacuterie plate when I come back to Palm Beach. My dining partner was so enthused over the seafood choices(and in his cocktails) that he decided we had to try the caesar salad with anchovies to test this place for real. Test passed. The salad was wonderful, and it’s hat other caesars aspire for. If you’re hanging out living the good life in Palm Beach, you probably have plenty of time to kick back and enjoy this place for hours like we did. This is the most imaginative, inventive, and modern restaurant I’ve found in Palm Beach, and I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to come back for another happy hour stretched into the night. Thanks for the great time.

Love this place. We showed up very early, before dinner service — and were seated and fed anyway. The atmosphere is contemporary and upscale with a nice mix of current tunes playing in the background. There is a raw bar as well as an interesting concept called«Seacuterie» which is like charcuterie but prepared with seafood. This looked good but pricey so we didn’t try any of those. Instead, we went with raw oysters. These were pristine, fresh and tasty. For starters we had crispy bay scallops — these sweet little guys were deep fried and served with braised oxtail, herbed spaetzle, and compressed green apple. OMG that dish was delicious! We also had the mussels, cooked in a sweet corn broth with lamb sausage. Also outstanding. We all had fish for our entrees. These are offered in ½ and full portions(nice). The Scottish salmon with pea risotto was super delicious, one of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had. The arctic char was just ok, wonderfully crispy and tender but served with an overpowering wild mushroom sauce. The local mahi mahi was also just ok; it suffered from mushiness. There is a nice selection of seafood-friendly wines by the glass. The desserts were good. To our disappointment, the key lime pie was not available. The passionfruit cheesecake was very good. The flourless chocolate cake was forgettable. Overall, we were impressed with the food, service and atmosphere.

This is a must stop for fish lovers. The setting is very modern. They have a formal dining room or you could sit in the lounge(I sat in the lounge.) The raw bar was bigger than most«bars» I go to. It must have had 15 seats. At PB they have a starters menu before you order the appetizers. I just love any restaurant that does this and will usually do what I did here and order half of that menu. The have a oyster sampler I suggest you try. You get four each of three kinds and it was a ton of fun to eat. Everything was fresh and clean. Very minimalist approach to seasoning. I cant stand chefs who don’t understand less is more. This chef gets it. They have a Oyster happy hour that I will be going to the next time I am in town.
