Heard good things about this place and looked forward to going in for lunch. We arrived and the café only had 4 people in it. We sat ourselves and there was no place to hang my purse. If the floor under the table had been swept I would have considered putting it there. But the entire floor restaurant was filthy. Bread crumbs were all over, I’m guessing from a very busy breakfast. Clearly the floor wasn’t swept between shifts. We ordered a glass of wine and the glasses were dirty and not polished. When I say dirty I mean there was something green stuck on the outside of the glass. Our table was next to the wall which clearly had not been wiped down in some time as we could see splattered food and beverage on it. At one point, I watched an ant crawl along the wall and another on my silverware. I gave this 2 stars because the cheese and charcuterie was actually good. Would have only given one star due to the lack of cleanliness. I hope some cleaning schedules are put in place here.

Went here for breakfast. Loved it. Great coffee, Italian. Had two cappuccinos and they were awesome. Sat in the court yard which is shaded and with a view of the marina. Very quiet and serene. Food was great. Would defiantly repeat. Also they have free wifi. I bet is nice is very nice. They have over head lights and a cigar bar.

We tried the happy hour specials and they were reasonable and a good way to try a new restaurant. The sliders were pretty good, very moist but small. The asparagus was fairly bland but tender even with bacon wrapped around it. The peach tartini was good, great baguette toasted with goat cheese and peaches. The chicken wings weren’t that special but we are glad we tried it. Each dish was $ 6 during happy hour and the wines were $ 5 a glass so it was a decent happy hour offering. This looks pretty good compared to Vic and Angelos since they raised their happy hour prices. I’d definitely try this for dinner given the happy hour sampling. They just opened a year ago, so the place is undiscovered. Give it a try!

Haven’t found a good breakfast place in this Part of the world until now — great sitting outside. Had the happy goat quiche with fresh fruit as recommended by others and it was delicious.

Cannot get enough of their Crossiants! Amazing! Went two days in a row it was so good. Awesome patio out back with view of the marina. Ham, egg and cheese crossiant first day for lunch with a side of fruit. Illy coffee. Ham and cheese crossiant on second trip. Dont tell anyone but also had just a crossiant with strawberry jelly the first day it was so good. Highly recommended you check it out. Prices are good as well. Claudia took care of us and was very attentive.

What a cute little place! We were looking for somewhere to grab wine and a cheese plate before dinner and came across this one on Unilocal! It was pretty empty for Saturday evening but that worked in our favor to have the place pretty much to ourselves. We got the 2003 Château St. Jean Cinq Cepages, yummy! We also ordered the charcuterie and cheese board, enough for 5 of us to share. I am hoping we can return before the end of our vacation so my hubby can enjoy the cigar bar as well.

Here’s the problem folks: the food is VERYGOOD. the service however, on a saturday night for dinner, was horrendous. horrendous. sorry, that’s the truth. the restaurant last night had four tables filled. saturday night. 7pm. we waited. and waited. and waited. and waited. we waited for drinks. we waited for food. we waited for re-fills… never again for dinner. never. i know Unilocalers love it for breakfast and for lunch, and i can see that. the food, like i said, is very good. PLEASE: if you are going to serve dinner, PLEASE get more wait staff. PLEASE.

It’s unfortunate I just had breakfast here. The good: breakfast I had was excellent my server was excellent and a coffee was excellent. The bad: where it went to hell in a handbasket was when I checked out and paid my bill. Unfortunately I think I was dealing with the owner of the restaurant. And I guess their motto at the Angry Moon Café is to be a Pennywise and Pound Foolish. I asked at checkout for a to go coffee. Which I assume would have been included because I had ordered coffee with my breakfast. But she insisted that I can only get a to go coffee if I paid for the paper cup. You spend $ 15 on eggs, bacon and potatoes with coffee and you’d think they’d be smart enough that if you ask for a to go coffee that they would gladly do it. Instead they’d rather argue over a paper cup. Again it’s unfortunate because the breakfast itself and the server that I had were excellent. But because she wanted me to pay for a paper cup, to me it just seemed short sighted, Pennywise and pound foolish, and just plain stupid and short sighted. And I just don’t do stupid. Therefore the two stars. I guess that’s why they have the word«angry» in their name because you have a chance of being that when you leave their restaurant.

We loved the friendly European owners, the ornate décor, & the waterfront patio tables. The steak was quite good, as were the brussels sprouts & the mashed potatoes. The wine list is extensive, but simple. Kitchen could stand to pay more attention to detail, as my request to leave onions off the crêpe was ignored completely, even though the waitress swore she relayed it both verbally & in writing.

Environment was great! We had the whole outside patio to ourselves. The food was average. The ingredients were fresh and the concept was nice but the flavor wasn’t there. My chicken was super bland served over plain over cooked pasta. Great place to grab a drink and have a bite, but not the best dinner option

What a great experience I had at Angry Moon. I went with my boyfriend and we had all the happy hour apps! Try it out, I can’t wait to return for breakfast. The décor is really nice and you feel like you have been taken to a cozy European café.

What a great find, thanks to other Unilocalers. Went with a group, and we tried various sandwiches, all of which were delicious. The desserts and espresso also were very good. Liked it so much I returned the next day with my husband for lunch. We sat«out back» on a cute patio that has a view of a marina. Husband loved his ham and cheese on croissant and I enjoyed homemade tomato bisque and an outstanding salad. I kid my husband about being an espresso snob, and this one passed his test. Great place!

Where do I begin??? My son, wife and I flew across country to surprise my mom for her birthday. We went to Angry Moon, on my sister’s recommendation, for the surprise and bunch. The meal and the service was so exceptional that we returned for dinner the next day. As far as breakfast, we had a party of 11 so we tried the majority of the menu and nobody was disappointed. All tree versions of benedict were outstanding. Dinner the following day had a tough act to follow, but again we were extremely pleased. Here’s the thing, the service wasn’t fast food, but it shouldn’t be. A good meal takes time to make, and the care behind the meal you receive is very evident. The staff makes you feel like part of the family and the food is flavorful, interesting and very well prepared. Considering, as a family, we have tried 22 meals from Angry Moon and loved them all, and we all adore the staff, a five-star endorsement is an easy one here. Go soon, go often, you won’t regret it.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife. Had no clue that this place existed. Well much to our surprise we had an excellent lunch with great service. The Prosciutto, Mozzarella and Roasted Pepper sandwich was awesome. We will return for sure.
