Boston Market

I am a creature of habit so my usual to order here is the half chicken with two sides. I am always impressed with the chicken for its tenderness and flavor along with the sweet corn bread mini loaf. You can eat the chicken with a fork since it is so tender and easy to shred. I am not a huge corn bread fan, but I love their loafs here. They are sweet so that is why I like them I believe. They don’t have the usual boring, plain corn bread taste. But, I am always feeling mediocre for the sides. I have yet to find a side that I absolutely love here. I usually go with a veggie (that I can easily fix at home like green beans) and mac-​n-​cheese. I personally am not a huge fan of the mac-​n-​cheese, but I usually pass it along to my youngest son to eat. You can definitely tell it is from a box or can with it’s processed taste. It’s hard to describe the exact taste, but I don’t care for it. But, the kids tear it up of course.
This location is older compared the location on Wickham Road it seems. It seems to be a little more dated in colors and decorations inside. Most of the time the inside has been clean with maybe one or two tables dirty from customers just leaving. The employees have always been friendly and quick to serve up your food. I have never used the drive thru, but they seem to keep the traffic moving at a nice pace from what I have noticed during our visits.

When coming here I was expecting regular fast food service and ok food. Boy was I wrong! They brought our plate out, very kind, food was hot and fresh! Wish there was a Boston market in charleston, sc! If you’re in the area come here!

Well, Unilocal says 3 stars = «A-​Ok» and I’m fine with that. I will frequent the Market every now and again for lunch and it is A-​Ok. As a frame of reference, when i need to grab something fast (in Palm Bay) it is between Chick Fil A and the Market.
Price: Average Price (half chicken and two sides $ 8)
Flavor: You can tell these aren’t the natural chickens they use at other places (i.e. Chipotle). A little heavy on the seasoning is utilized to mask the hormones present in the chicken.
Selection: sandwiches, pot pies, chicken, lots of sides. Overall great selection.
Missing Ingredient (s): less salt, less butter, more freshness (in the chicken and the ingredients).
An A-​ok place to grab a bite to eat when you are in a hurry and $$ is a factor. I will be back again!
