One of my favorite places in Palisade. They have the best staff and great tastings!

One of my favorite wineries in the valley. Staff are friendly and well educated on wines. Samples are generous. The Grand Mesa is my favorite and has a nice blend of Cabernet Sauvignon(40%), Cabernet Franc(31%) and Merlot(29%). It ages very well. The Chardonnay is oaked and very nice. It works well on its own and also makes a nice fruity Sangria.

We attempted to go here on Easter Sunday considering the website says«The tasting room is open year round 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The winery is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.» We arrived after 10.30am and the sign on the door said«Back at 10.10am» So we just left, very disappointing.

Melissa & Lexi were so warm and friendly. Had the best experience and assisted us through our wine tasting. Just had to purchase a few bottles. Recommend not passing this one up. I am coming back.

The Traveling Winers on Colorado Wine Trail Plum Creek Cellars opened in 1984 in Larkspur, CO and then moved to Palisades, CO in 1989. You can even see some of the original fermenting tanks from the Larkspur facility which are still in production in their new location. Their staff were all very friendly and more than happy to share their knowledge and passion for wine. Jenny, the wine maker, has been there for over 19 years. Paula, the Barrel Room Manager has 11 years of service. And then the newby, Linda, the Tasting Room Host, has only been with Plum Creek since April, but is so passionate about her job that you would think she has been there for years! Make sure to check out their art work and landscaping outside the winery. Look closely at the metal statues as they are quite fascinating! Enjoy your visit! The Traveling Winers at The Vineyard Trail
