Eagle’s Nest Family Dining

This place is next to a truck stop in the middle of be where and I was at the truck stop once but didn’t have the time to stop, but this time I did, I had a burger and it was great, only downside is the patty was smaller than the buns and I hate that. Also the place is a little outdated but the staff is friendly I would recommend this place if your life ogling to stop to get some food and stretch your legs

We had breakfast and it was good. No complaints about the food. They had 2 TVs in the dinning room that were showing the Jerry Springer show. The volume was full blast. The server was annoyed that we asked to turn the volume off. Who wants to eat with screaming in the background?

I can’t believe this place has even 1 star. A. You can’t breathe due to the smoke B. The server was rude and yells at you from across the room C. It is dirty E. I think because they are on the highway and there isn’t much competition they think they can get away with no paint or maintenance on the building, F. Bathrooms were filthy!
We come up from Denver with family and friends all the time and we have clients in Grand Junction is a shame that we can’t trust is a local restaurant would provide good service, cleanliness and decent food.
It would take very little money and time to fix this place. The fact that it’s near a Conoco makes it very convenient for travelers. I hope the owners read this post and get inspired.

Great little roadside café. So homey and friendly. We stopped here Christmas day two years ago when everything else was closed and never forgot how welcomed we felt. Good hot home cooked food. open on Christmas Day for travelers!

Stopped in while on a hunting trip, good quick meal. Reasonable prices and good service. Old time woodsy atmosphere.

OMG amazing food! The breakfast burrito was ridiculously great! The homemade green Chile sauce was fantastic, without being too spicy.
Big servings, great atmosphere, good service. I’d return every chance I got!
