The quality of instruction was high and the staff was very friendly. They were able to accommodate my professional schedule and worked with me to personalize my classes. As a former Spanish tutor myself, I can vouch for the quality of instruction.
Why would a former Spanish tutor need lessons?
Well, I was taking a new job that required a heavy amount of Spanish, which meant that I needed to knock off the rust and rebuild my confidence.
The staff at Spanish Language Center in Palatine customized my private lessons to business situations (i.e., stock market, marketing, sales, and general business language, etc.). I was also able to join a small group class and brush up on my basic vocabulary and subjunctive tense.
When I got tired of talking about business in Spanish, my instructor brought in lessons about other things that were interesting or I could talk about at a cocktail party — for example, wine.
Overall, would highly recommend.
