I enjoyed my non chip and pedicure here. The people here is so nice and great service. The price is also affordable. Highly recommended this place.

I rarely make Unilocal reviews, but I had to make an exception for this place. The girls here are great at what they do. The sign says the no-chip manicures start at $ 25 and go up from there. But they range from $ 25-$ 30. It’s not like they pull a bait and switch and charge you $ 50 for mani. Not really something to get worked up about — seriously. Furthermore, they do a fantastic job. When I have my nails done elsewhere, I tend to have a lot of chipping by the end of my 2 weeks. Or, the nail polish doesn’t cover the entire surface of my nail. Not only do they cover every millimeter of real estate on my nails, they also go around the edges with acetone, so you are getting a more seamless look. You don’t have the bump at the base of your nail like you’ll see from other salons. Is it the nicest looking place? No. But their work is quality. I highly recommend this place.

Wait times are ridiculous. This establishment is dirty and I have had problems with gift certificates. There is a BBB unresolved issue as well. There are other places in or around Palatine that offer better service.

Good prices lure you in but you get what you pay for. They skimp on everything. The atmosphere is mediocre(a bit dirty!) To top it off they wouldn’t take my discover card only visa and made me tip cash. Very inconvenient. I doubt I’ll be back,

Talk about bait and switch! Don’t offer $ 25 no chip sign at your business if your going to charge $ 30. When I asked about why she charged me more she said I picked a more expensive color, I have never heard of that. Not only was the place dirty but they had no air conditioning, were very unfriendly and I left with mosquito bites all over my legs from the door in back being open… I won’t be back.

I used to go here every 2 – 3 weeks for a no chip mani. Prices are lowest I’ve seen for a no chip– $ 25 and they do a great job so I sometimes went as long as a month in between. Their pedis are not the greatest. The ladies are nice and don’t chit chat with u the entire time which I appreciate. The negatives are that the place is very dirty. It is not well maintained at all. The floors never look swept or mopped and the walls are dirty and need a new paint job. As long as the instruments are clean I don’t really care if the floor is dirty I suppose.

Friendly place, good prices and good service. The inventory needs to be updated, it’s a bit oldfashioned. And the hand massage after the mani could be a bit longer ;)

I really like this place. One could say I’m a regular. I’m in there for a pedicure every 3 weeks. I don’t do manicures because my nails are thin and weak, and I keep them short and unpolished. I’ve been to several places in Palatine, and this one is the best. Without mentioning business names; too much talking and fighting for customers at place #1, angry, angry, angry owner, and smell of food in place #2(I reported this one to Dept of Financial and Professional Regulations), and cutting corners at place #3. Natural nails recently put in 5 new pedicure chairs. Their place is a little dated, but their prices are great. On a Saturday afternoon, I was in there for a pedicure. I did not make an appointment. My nail tech lacked the experience of the other techs. Without me even saying anything, the owner knew I was not completely satisfied. She gave me a clean pedicure from start to finish right then and there… and did not charge me for the second one. As far as a language barrier, it’s small compared to other places. One of the techs is a really sweet young lady named Jay. One can voice complements and concerns to her. I’ve seen very happy customers in this place for no-chip and fake nails(that’s what I call them… lol).

«Please, please, please let me get what I want…» ~ The Smiths… and me every.damn.time I get my nails done somewhere new. Do I ever end up getting what I want? Nope. Pretty much never. Those nail salon women rule with an iron fist and you’ll get what you get and won’t get upset… or at least that’s the motto when I try to ask for anything outside the regular. So, this isn’t my usual place, but I was in the area and there was a sign on the window for $ 25 no-chip. I’d passed this place before prior to that sign never being up and thought that they specialized in only natural nails and because up until recently I had faux gel nails, I never thought to stop in here and figured they wouldn’t be able to service my kind. Turns out, the natural part of their name is a term used very loosely. They do everything from manis and pedi, to acrylic, gel, no-chip, you name it. Typical nail salon menu with waxing and paraffin offerings as well. Based on the condition of the place, I wouldn’t get waxing services from here — it’s dated, dingy, and pretty miscellaneous as far as equipment is concerned — 5 different kinds of mismatched pedi chairs lined up and what looks like a paper towel dispenser from the 60s above their sink that uses duct tape with flame print on it in lieu of a backsplash. Not exactly a spa, but totally fine for a $ 25 no-chip. As always, I wasn’t impressed in the color selection offered for no-chip nails, but I remembered a simple nail scheme I saw on pinterest a few days earlier(since that’s literally where all my free time goes) that I thought could be cool, so I pulled it up and asked if it were possible to do with no-chip polish. Since I’m still pretty new to the whole no-chip thing, I wasn’t sure and my usual no-chip involves my right hand getting painted one color and my left hand getting painted and entirely different color(because that’s just how I like it), but this pinterest pic meant going outside of that and trying something new for me. Basically, what I wanted were my nails painted cream, with manatee grey tips. Kind of like a French manicure but instead of clear with white tips, I had cream all over, with a thin grey line on the end. The nail lady said she could do that, no problem, it’s just like a French(with is $ 30 for no-chip here, nbd). Only that I should do clear and black. Me: but I like cream and grey. Her: This is better. Me: I don’t really like clear, and grey is kind of my thing. Her: How about pink. Me: I HATEPINK Her: Black only needs two coats. Grey needs three. It’ll be too thick. It won’t look nice. Me: I think it’ll look nice. Her: *silence* Me: Fine. I guess use the black… but with cream. Guess what I got? Exactly what she said I’d get, not what I said I wanted: Clear and black. I got exactly 0% of the nail colors I wanted. No shocker there based on every communication effort I’ve ever had with anyone in my life because apparently I speak in tongues and am the easiest person ever to win an argument with. I would have been silently angry, but she did a damn fine job on my «too short» nails and they look absolutely immaculate. I still would have liked my cream and grey combo, but her suggestion was just fine too… I guess. And for $ 25 no-chip($ 30 for French no-chip), I’ll totally be back, BUT… «For once in my life, let me get what I want. Lord knows it would be the first time» ~ The Smiths

Terrible! They thinned the polish they used with acetone so much that my toenails never dried! One hour after I left there I noticed tiny bubbles all over the polish, I lightly touched one of the nails and the polish on the entire nail smeared off! Checked the others and all are the same. I’m glad I didn’t put my socks on or they would have been ruined. I contacted them immediately and told them I want my money back. They are refusing. I’ll need to have it redone somewhere else. They are not the cleanest either. Don’t waste your money or time.

They have great prices and do a great job especially with the no chip. Be careful and make sure they don’t take off too much of your cuticle. They don’t speak a lot of English, but it’s a great price, and they are pretty quick.

Pretty professional manis and pedis. I asked for a neutral pink and she offered me six subtly different hues. $ 35 mani/pedi combo. They have old fashioned hand and toe dryer machines on timers. They give you short but lovely hand and feet/calf massages.
