My wife hired Chuck to cater a surprise party that she threw for me. What a wonderful treat! We have hired catering companies for our family events before, but she wanted something extra special for my birthday, and Chuck did an amazing job. There were about 50 people at the party including, vegetarians, vegans, pescetarians, and picky kids. Chuck made sure that the menu covered everyone. The party went well into the night and people went back for seconds and even thirds of Chuck’s delicious food. The homemade Italian beef, spinach lasagna and caprese salad were a few of my favorites. Chuck, thanks for a party that I’ll never forget!

This personal chef normally does big events but I used him to make meals for my family. First, Chef Chuck is a very nice person and is very accomodating in trying to give you what you ask for. We had him make 10 meals with two sides for 2 of us… that is alot of food. He did it at a phenomenally reasonable price(compared to other personal chefs and the amount of food that he provided). Unfortunately, between my husband and I we were split on the quality of the food, especially the meats. I didn’t care for most of the entrees. After(re)heating they tasted like leftovers. As this was our 2nd go-around with a Personal Chef I know that you can get terrific meals that were frozen that you heat up and they do NOT taste like a reheated piece of blah… My husband was more generous in his opionion and felt that the food was equal to wat a diner — equivalent to what you would get at one of those greek-owned, open all day and most of the evening, diners… like Dapper’s. The vegetables he prepared were the best of the bunch in terms of quality. So despite him having the best price, I would pay a little more to get world-class, gourmet type meals — which is out there for just $ 50 more and be completely satisfied with my meal rather than settle for ehhh-its okay. By the time we got to the last 5 entrees I almost dreaded having the meal because I just didn’t feel like it tasted up to par with what I could cook(frankly) or what I could get in a restaurant. Sorry, Chef Chuck…
