The food is real deal BBQ! Always authentic and always delicious! My family and I love to come here for lunch. The portions are huge and we usually can split a platter between two adults. The brisket is my personal favorite and we often order the good olé boy platter which has everything we love. brisket, ribs, and smoked chicken with two sides. The chipotle potato salad is amazing, the hand cut fries are rocking and the fried pickles are nice and spicy. The beans have a plethora of burnt ends and brisket bits too; don’t pass them up. Finally, the service is always quick, polite, and helpful. The servers do their job well even during hectic lunch rushes. My ONLY complaint is that they are not open for very long each day! Make a note of their hours so that you are not disappointed when you show up and they are closed! Keep up the great work Moe! You will always have our business!

One of the best BBQ pits around! We came here after hearing someone at the springs discussing they had the juiciest burgers around. We came for lunch the next day and most in our group ordered burgers, I had the jalapeño brisket sandwich and someone else got the rib & brisket plate. Everyone was in love with their food! We were all trying food from each other plates! Not only is the BBQ great, the french fries & beans are super good too! I have to mention that everyone at the table thought my jalapeño brisket sandwich was the best choice and if we weren’t leaving the next day they wanted to go back to get their own! Service was excellent too! (We did have some trouble finding the place but hopefully Unilocal took my suggestion and is updating their map.)

Awesome brisket. Lots of food, great value for the money. Will go back when in town again.

If I’m not smoking it myself, which I do often, BBQ is one of my favorite meals out as well. In other words, I am quite familiar with good BBQ. This isn’t it. It’s just bad cuts of meat and flavorless. I’m not sure I’ve ever had brisket that fatty, I can’t even chew it. The ribs were much the same, very fatty and no flavor at all. They don’t put any sauce on them while smoking? No rub or anything? And the fat isn’t crackeled at all. I’ve had BBQ from coast to coast, Canada to Mexico and this may well be the worst I’ve ever had. Please, if you’re visiting from out of state… don’t judge Colorado BBQ by what you had here. Perhaps they just had a bad day, but it was a really bad day.

The brisket & sweet potato fries were awesome. I disagree with previous reviewer comments about the brisket being too lean… my wife & I both found it to be spot on!

Smoken Moes was recommended by the manager of the vacation rental we stayed at near Navajo Lake and I got the ribs and brisket. I got it to go. It was great. The brisket was as tender as could be and flavorful. The ribs were great too, although I wished they would’ve had a bit more meat on them. I had the choice of two sides and I ordered the chipotle potato salad and the baked beans. Both were good. I ordered it take out and drove around for an hour or so before getting back to my lodging and rewarming the food, and it was still very tasty. I’ll be going back some day to try more things from the menu. I highly recommend this place for great BBQ.

Brisket is very lean. Needs to be cooked with more fat on then trimmed after cooking. It takes a lot of sauce when it’s that dry. Flavor was good. Pulled pork: the only option is with vinegar added. Not my preference. The hand cut fries are delicious. The service was very good.

YUM! This place does it right! The brisket was so flavorful and tender with absolutely no fat. Had the sandwich with the cheddar cheese and jalapenos. The service was top notch! Tried the fried pickles, they were delicious. Will be back next time were in town. MMM mmmm GOOD!

First I must say that I am a spoiled Texas BBQ lover. I loved the place. As you walk in it is relaxing and comfortable. The wait staff is very nice and down to earth. The sliced brisket is ok. I like my BBQ to melt in my mouth. This will require some chewing as we say. Probably trimmed the fat too much before smoking. I don’t like eating fat myself but the fat during cooking can truly change the tenderness The sauce was good. Overall this a good place to eat.

Excellent BBQ with very good smoke flavor! Wide variety on menu, great setting and Bobbie Sue was a great waitress! Off the main road but well worth it in a small mall in front of Napa auto parts not the big mall behind Napa. Highly recommended!

I loved their brisket! Smokey, bold flavors, and not to fatty. I am from out of town and arrived to find out they were closed. The hostess asked the owner of I could get a pound to go and she hooked me up. Thanks for the meat you guys rock !!!

Wow what can I say. A small hometown restaurant done right! The owner was extremely friendly when she came out from the kitchen to greet the diners. We ordered the friend pickles which were served with a chipotle based cream dip. TASTY! We then ordered the pulled pork bbq sandwich along with the sweet potato fries. YUMYUMYUM!!! The table service was fast and friendly, the food was great and the atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. We will definitely go back!

Not sure what happened to the last reviewer but my wife and a friend of ours had lunch there yesterday and the food was fantastic — service was fast and friendly. The green chile cheeseburger with grilled fresh hatch chiles was fantastic and the sweet potato fries rocked.

Came by to check out the restaurant for lunch. Place was okay, looks kinda dirty. Pulled pork sandwich was not to my liking, too much vinegar. BBQ brisket sandwich was decent. Smoked sausage sandwich was okay. Nothing special to brag about.

We absolutely love Moe’s. My hubby and daughter usually order a gyro, myself chicken Philly, son A burger or chile fries. Everything is served fresh, nicely seasoned, and with a great overall care for the quality of the food. We also go to Moe’s when family is in town. We like to order the BBQ family style as take out. There are never complaints or leftovers. My mouth is watering, time to head to Moe’s again!

Given the previous stellar reviews, I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere was nice the service was friendly but the food? I ordered brisket in hopes of smoky excellence; The brisket was cut with the grain, there was no flavor and the meat was very tough, so sauce was a necessity. The sauce was excellent! The rest of my party ordered baby back ribs, which were well prepared however seriously lacking in seasoning, again requiring the sauce. On a scale of 1 to 5 I rate the brisket A very generous 1, and on the same scale we rate the ribs 3. Even the cole slaw was meh, with little flavor. On a high note these were possibly the best sweet potato fries we’ve ever had. Would we go back? Maybe but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

I stopped in around 2:30 for a quick lunch. The place was completely deserted. The waitress said«sit anywhere» and when I sat down she said«oh, not there, that is our only table for six.» I considered telling her that I would find another table in another restaurant… and I wish I had. It spoiled my taste for the food, which was reasonable, but nothing that sent me into raves. I wonder if the waitress realized why she got a sixty cent tip. Needless to say no one else came in to eat the whole time I was there.

You must go here while you’re in town. Everything we had was outstanding. The beans were very tasty, and you should definitely try the loaded green chili fries. Service and atmosphere are friendly, and sitting in front of the fire place after being outside in the cold all day is awesome.

Definately the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. I will never return to this so called restaurant ever again. I don’t know why, but when we sat down, 4 tables came in after us and were all served their menus and drinks before anyone even came up to us. Although my husband wanted to leave, I talked him into staying because we were there another time and the food was good. Wrong choice. The waitress finally acknowledged us and took our order, we were the last table to receive our food, it was dry and overcooked. My daughter never got a drink refill while we were having our meal so she asked for one to go, they charged us another dollar for that so the drinks are $ 2.75. $ 42 for 4 people for a terrible lunch, it would have been a better meal to spend $ 20 at Mcdonald’s for half an hour than this that took an hour and 15 minutes.
