Friendly, knowledgable people with lovingly prepared deli foods to stay or to go. Homemade soups, sandwiches, wraps, and inventive salads. Many raw and VEGAN options in the deli! Fresh and healthy smoothies and raw prepared-​to-​order juices! The market section has lovely selection of organic snacks, drinks, bulk foods, meats, cheeses, frozen foods, supplements and more. A small place with very high quality and reasonable prices. This place is a jewel in Pagosa Springs!

I give five stars because it has the same quality and atmosphere as a Whole Foods but just a much smaller scale.
You have a lot of choices because it is a grocery store.
I got the pastrami reuben with tomatoes and sprouts added some selections from the store and had a pretty good meal.

Health galore!
Fresh juices, smoothies. Excellent grab-​n-​go items such as superfood salad, roasted beets, smoked salmon, hummus, seaweed salad, etc. Other cold and frozen items, plus vitamins and grocery/​snack foods.

This place is a God-​send. I couldn’t believe that there was a place with gluten, dairy, and soy-​free options in the middle of a little mountain town. I got the tomato basil soup and some roasted rosmary potatoes and some vegetables, and it was all delicious. Other people in my group got their vegetarian/​vegan sandwiches, chicken sliders, BLTs, and a regular sandwich, and we all loved it. They’ve got a nice little selection of organic produce and grocery items (guys, they’ve even got Hail Merry chocolate tarts…), so we stocked up for the rest of our drive. We also stopped here on our way back home. They had different soups and ready –made things, but, again, we all found something we wanted.

We stopped here to buy food for a week-​long backpacking trip up to the continental divide. This market was a camper’s paradise. They had dehydrated fruits and veggies, individual packets of organic, fair trade instant coffee, hearty dehydrated soups, high-​protein oatmeal and a variety of healthy granola bars. It was perfect! Service was great. It is a small market but it is well-​stocked and we will definitely be back. I was grateful to find organic healthy food for camping. The café items looked fresh and perfect for a picnic.

It’s extremely difficult to find healthy, prepared food in these little mountain towns. This market and deli was awesome and had super vegan options (the shredded carrot salad and the pumpkin seed pesto were amazing!) I highly recommend.

Can’t give it 5 because we only bought juice and chips but the place looked great. The guy in the back gave us perfect directions for our hike. I think he was the owner. Walked the healthy walk — wish we had time to go back for a sandwich.

Best place in town for a quick, healthy, affordable lunch. Go on a Friday and snag some of their Salmon Tacos! They’re amazing. They’ve recently remodeled with some inside seating which really adds to the experience!

Three and a half stars for the Trader Joe’s /​Whole Foods nowheresville stand-​in. Friendly service. It’s a small store consisting of four aisles with more homeopathic remedies than a hypochondriac could ever need, plus a deli attached to the side. Car wash up the hill. I wanted plain old anti-​histamines and completely struck out here, but managed to feed my frustration with some bougie snacks and a tub of salted caramel greek yogurt.

I visit Old Town at least one a week for lunch. Their sandwiches are a little costly for my wallet (although, for good reason– packed with high-​quality ingredients), so I usually opt for one of their daily soups (there’s usually a vegan option). They have options for all types of diets. This place doesn’t function for profit, so their prices are as reasonable as they can be for the quality of their products. When in a hurry I grab a pre-​made deli salad (I like the turkey curry or mozzarella & red onion salad), and check out within a couple minutes. Although playing quietly, the christian music can be annoying sometimes, so I escape outside to a picnic table for lunch in the summer. Really love the employees– I always feel that they are taking care to put good energy in the food.

The breakfast burrito was my favorite! If you get there first thing — around 7:30am — they can customize one for you too! Cannot wait to go back :)
