Tokyo Sushi

Easily the best nigiri and sushi within 200 miles. Great food, selection, and value. My favorite lunch spot. Unlike many restaurants when I ask the wait staff to leave me alone with my meal — they do. This food is meant to be enjoyed slowly and with appreciation.

The food is delicious! I really enjoyed the rock and roll sushi, Very refreshing. The restaurant is very clean inside too.
They missed the other star because of the service. Its good, but the rolls came out one by one and we received the appetizer during the middle of meal versus the start.

It’s been great every time we have been. We love the sushi. My daughter gets the fried rice and it is very good. Nice atmosphere.

Been here several times and it has always been excellent. We brought the kiddos this last time to introduce them to the world of sushi. The two youngest didnt care for it so we ordered them a cheese ramen bowl. It was way too much for a 6 or 8 yr old to eat and it was 8 $ each. Could have saved 10 $ by gettng them an appetizer to split or something. We got the big mouthful as one of the 5 rolls. The name should have been a hint but it was too big for one bite. Everything tasted great and we will be back.

The food is very good… actually so good that we keep going back even though the service is nothing short of terrible. It’s hit or miss if the hostess is going to be friendly or rude. One thing you can almost bet on though is terrible service and it doesn’t matter if the restaurant is packed or almost empty. Food has been great every time… as I mentioned earlier it keeps us coming back even though we know we aren’t going to receive decent service.

Food is always really really good. Sometimes the sushi takes a while to come out though. Service from the wait staff is consistently poor. I’m not sure why she does not hire experienced servers

First, the map is wrong. They are located on the north side of the road that goes under the freeway. They are in a small strip mall behind the big mall. Yum. The intimate setting with Japanese décor added to the experience. The house soup is fabulous, seasoned chicken broth, mushrooms and green onions. The avocado salad was beautifully made and as tasty. The Thai coconut curry has a delicate flavor. The transparent noodles and vegetables were delicious. The clear noodles are made from sweet potato starch, if you don’t like chewy texture food, skip this dish. Beautiful rice perfectly sticky. Looking for a quiet restaurant for a delicious meal? This is it. The food lovingly made and the wait staff helpful and not intrusive. We’ll be back!

Worst customer service in town! The Asian lady at the front desk could not be any ruder. I ordered food to pick up and they didn’t get my order right. When I questioned the incorrect order she got extremely defensive and said that I must have ordered incorrectly. I have eaten here for years (pretty sure I know my order). I will never eat here again and will let it be known how horrible their service is. Jasmines has gained a new loyal customer.

A great find in a small town. Recommended by the desk clerk at the Drury Suites. Very helpful with two older people (69 and 67) who were not that familiar with ordering sushi. Also the grilled shrimp were terrific. Wine list a bit limited but adequate.

Came here on a late night with my two nephews and they took us in around 9:30 and never rushed us. We ordered the seaweed salad which was pretty large and they even had two extra plates with cucumbers for my nephews. We ordered the volcano roll, California roll, and Alaskan roll and they were pretty delicious. Afterward, we had the mango mochi ice cream and the ice cream sundae which was free on the house for my nephew! Our server was extra nice and very professional. Service was great and food was good as well. We really enjoyed our time here.

Great Sushi and nice service too! Some of the best rolls I’ve had especially in the local area. I’ll come back again, asked for some Japanese pickle on the side (Oshinko) and they sent out a big bowl for almost nothing! I love oshinko! A wide selection of Sushi to choose from and hot dishes too!

Excellent sushi bar. chef was meticulous. waitress was attentive without being pushy.
seafood was fresh. Sweet Shrimp were delicious.

My favorite place to get sushi in Paducah (although there aren’t too many to choose from). I’m no sushi expert, but I’ve eaten enough of it to know that I like theirs. I’ve been to a lot fancier sushi places in other cities, but I’d just as well have theirs and save myself a few bucks. I’ve always had good service and they always seem really helpful for people who haven’t had sushi before and don’t know what to get.
