Nothing super special about the ice cream – good standard flavors. The shop itself is very charming with an old time flare and sits right across from a spot that offers horse and buggy rides.

Cutest ice cream shoppe/parlor this side of the Ohio River — a must do if you are stopping in Paducah. They do not accept credit or debit cards but have an ATM. Ice cream and shakes are really good for cost and portion size. But it’s the atmosphere that really makes this place special, especially for kids.

Very nice home made ice cream. Some flavors are awesome. I like chocolate chips and coffee, and the cheese flavor is also good.

I stood outside this ice cream shop early in the morning way before they opened, wondering aloud to my husband whether or not they actually made their ice cream, or it were shipped in from Jersey. «Oh, they make it all right!» exclaimed an elderly passerby. «You better come back later, it’s delicious!» The old man tottered on down the street, never stopping to elaborate or see our reaction. So, obviously, we came back later. I had a delicious cone of coffee ice cream, it was not too rich, and a touch icy, but on a hot August night, it was everything I wanted.
