Auburn Place Hotel & Suites

Stopped here on a cross country road trip. Excellent customer service; and large, clean and comfortable room. Felt like it should have been more expensive than what I paid. Would return again!

We checked in at night and were welcomed with smiles and freshed baked cookies and milk. What better welcome than that? The hotel is very nice for an affordable price. Our two bed room was spacious and had: a table, fridge, a microwave, tables and a couch. The employees are very kind. The miss who prepared the breakfast was very kind and talked to us to make sure the food was great. She was prideful in making us breakfast. Make sure to call early to book a room! You won’t regret it!

The room was clean and the spa tub was great. The bed to soft for me and the under sheet wasn’t on completely but a quick fix. If you must have a firm bed the room I had wouldn’t work. My wife loved it she likes soft beds. It’s not a brand new building so there is some wear tear nothing bad.
Breakfast was plentiful what you would expect from a hotel. But for $ 100 room I was very pleased.

I have stayed here twice for business. This place is one of the best mid level hotels I’ve ever been to!

Stopped here for a night on a road trip and was very impressed! My nose was greeted with a fresh smell as we walked in the doors and our room was clean and beautiful. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the best thing was the customer service. The employees were smiling and talkative even at 6 am! When I asked for skim milk because I didn’t see any out at breakfast, Joy (an employee) & her colleague went out of her way (across the street to another hotel) to get me some! Not to mention how wonderful the food and coffee was at breakfast! If we have the chance, we will be back.

Really enjoyed the stay. Very nice and clean. Had a small problem with one of the rooms but they were more than happy to move us and very quick to send someone to fix the problem.

Great value. We stayed at the Auburn on our way from Florida back to Wi. Clean, comfortable beds, nice breakfast and exceptionally friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great experience at the Auburn Place! They saved us from sketchy accommodations elsewhere. We were welcomed with open arms and enjoyed our stay, including the fresh-​from-​the-​oven cookies in the evening! The hotel is clean, the beds comfortable, and the personnel are so very pleasant! Only drawback was the heavy tobacco smoke smell in the 3^rd floor hallway.

I especially want to thank Charlene for her kindness! I needed to find something to do while my daughter was in a training seminar. She mapped out highlights on a tourist map… but beyond that she was able to suggest places she had actually been and recommended!
The entire staff was extremely friendly the hotel was clean and the cookies at night were a nice touch!

Very nice stop for 2 weary travelers. Staff was helpful and accommodations spacious. Decent complimentary breakfast. Located near several restaurants and close proximity to highway. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here last night and this is really a nice place. Breakfast was GREAT and the hot tub was exactly what I needed. Everyone is friendly and nice. I highly recommend.

Stopped here at 1:30 am on a Thursday night while making a trip from Wisconsin to Florida. The front desk employee, Joseph said the only room available was a smoking room and since it was so late and we were non smokers he’d give us the room for $ 65. We decided to smell the room before paying and decided it was just too overpowering to be able to sleep there. For some reason, a lot of the hotels in the area were booked for the evening but Joseph personally called at least 6 different hotels for us, looking for an opening. What excellent customer service and a great example of southern hospitality! If we’re passing through again, we’d for sure stop and stay… If they have a nonsmoking room available. Well done, Joseph!!!

Absolutely fantastic! Staying a night as a pot stop on our way back home and wasn’t expecting much, even if I was it’s more than expected! Warm and inviting lobby, a pool and spa area that rivaled our vacation hotel that cost three times as much and a wonderful location.
Our room was spacious (king suite with whirlpool spa bath) almost on the level of bing enormous. Very clean, friendly and well kept… not to mention all at a great price.
Highly recommended.

This is a great property with excellent employees. The room we had was very large and clean. The breakfast was not too exciting, but it was fresh. The lady in charge of the breakfast went out of her way to make sure that everyone was happy. We couldn’t ask for more.

We stopped here in March on our way back to WI and were pleasantly surprised. For $ 89 we had a double queen suite with a mini fridge, couch, large tv and great shower. Staff was friendly and breakfast was fabulous. Nice pool and jacuzzi as well. You can walk to Applebee’s or Rafferty’s for dinner. Great stop!

Stopped here for a night while driving to Florida and it was a GREAT and affordable place to stay! They had cookies and milk as a nighttime snack and a free breakfast in the morning! My friends and I enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Room was very clean and the people working there were very friendly! We enjoyed our stay here!

Referred here by Holiday Inn Express since they are pet friendly. The lobby is very pretty for a small hotel brand. It was recently remodeled according to the manager and it shows. Front desk manager was very courteous and efficient. Once into our room we notice it’s a small suite with a sofa sleeper and two queen beds. Very near and updated and most important CLEAN. Very reasonable rate and hot breakfast included!
