Great little dive bar. We are from out of town and wanted a drink before heading back to the city and went to Cheers. The bartenders were very nice, made great drinks, and were welcoming. I had a drink called Purple Rain and it was great,?it was very boozy but not overly sweet. We chatted with a few of the regulars who were interesting, but also very friendly. If I ever find myself randomly in Pacifica again, I’m coming back!

Drinks are under $ 5. No draft beer. Someone literally was peeing outside the front door(a patron) at 8:45pm on a Friday night. That incident almost started a fight. Check, please. Oh, cash only.

This is my first visit to this bar although I have lived in Pacifica since 1969. It is a cool bar, beers are cheap and the drinks are stiff. Worth the visit here. It’s a younger crowd on the Saturday night I visited, locals hangout, but an overall very nice place. It was odd to see Pacifica police parked outside… but are there to make sure there are no problems between the patrons. Pool table, ping pong table, juke box. Bartenders are very nice. It was a very nice atmosphere. It was a good night. Thank you Pacifica for a nice visit.

Great little dive bar in a strip mall. Drink prices were good, restrooms were clean, creepy mirrors and dive bar décor was on point, and the karaōke was kickin. I had a blast, and everyone else there seemed to as well. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a «night out» in Pacifica.

Me and the guys went to grab some beers and play pool but didn’t have a good time. This place is filled with«regulars» which is fine but when we were trying to play pool this one older lady kept trying to horn in on our game and was saying that it was her pool table and other stuffs even though we got there first and paid for the game. Everyone in the bar had her back and so we left wasting money on a game of pool we never got to play and beers were never got to finish. We were more or less bullied out of the bar by the bar’s regulars. Atmosphere sucked and the people were inconsiderate and rude. Never going here again.

Where everybody knows your name, do do doooo! And they’re always glad you came, do do doooo! Laughing hysterically, we stepped in for a drink in this bar within a strip mall by a nail salon and a thrift store. The zoning laws of Cali are interesting. We were there on a weekday afternoon so it was quiet with just a few patrons. We were helped at a leisurely place to match the mood of the day, which suited us just fine. Drinks were all right.

One bartender ruined this place for me. The grayish-blue-haired ponytail guy is a pri#%! This ungenteel drink-poorer kicked us out of «his bar» because we brought our bicycles inside. This was only after another bartender told us that it was ok to bring them inside and park them out of the way in the back. This was also after paying for a round of drinks and pool. We left $ 30 lighter and buzzless shortly after arriving. I didn’t even get to take a sip of my drink. We were all polite and respectful. The attitude toward us was unwarranted. If having our bikes inside was a liability to the business, this guy could have, at least, been a little more civil. Another fellow cyclist, who happened to be at the bar, observed the whole thing. He came outside to share his disgust for what had just occurred. You’d think Cheers would be a nice, friendly establishment. It turns out Cheers is kind of a clicky, locals only institution. It seems Pacifica, in general, is a clicky town. Its true that Cheers prides itself on being the place where everybody knows your name.

Going shopping? Stop by for a drink. Waiting for laundry? Sneak over for a drink. Parking to go the beach? Sip of a cold one before you go. This bar is convenient and filled with great bartenders. There is karaōke on Monday with AmandaRocks and Friday with Jose’s Super Star Karaōke. Free pool on Thursday and Saturday if there is no band. Plus a Ping pong table available at all times.

Great drink prices, free pool, and excellent Karaōke by Amanda because Amanda Rocks. Shes got the most songs I“ve seen. HOly Moly The beers are huge. This location is great. I have a friend that lives right around the corner.

Stay clear of this place on a Friday or Saturday unless you feel like fighting. What a mess.

I went here with my friend on 7−19−13 Friday 10:00pm’sh. Obviously I go to this bar for karaōke, because I knew Jose the kj was throwing his gig here. It’s actually a fair size bar with a dance floor(Jose played some dance music in between the singing), with a stage, and there is a pool table in the back. I think the owner has this dog that walks around the bar. On this evening, there were $ 4 drink specials(I had the melon ball which consist of midori, vodka, and orange juice and it was good). If a bar can have both karaōke and dancing, that’s an ideal outing.

dang hipsters with their brand-new flannel shirts pretending to be authentic working-class trash like us. You’ll never be us! That chick who never wears a bra and lets it all hang out(as in gravity, as in national geographic, as in cheesy-ass polyester lounge-wear from a late-night episode of Streets of SF) Honey you do not own the pool table even if that is ‘your’ chair at the end of the bar so don’t start with the ‘you didn’tput your name on the board first for pool, we were here first’ and then leave to go out and smoke, come back and try to run things. That ain’t how we rol, ya’ll. I don’t care who or what you’re doing. And why does everyone have to rag on the bar wenches, jeeze, can’t you just be gracious and let them do their job FFS? Ima sic that old johnny cash cowboy dude on anyone who talks smack. Oh and has anyone seen the Elvis dude down here? Ya’ll can talk smack about this town but you’re just hella jealous.

I like this place on Friday nights. The karaōke is fantastic. It is the best karaōke bar in Pacifica. The K-Jay Jose does an outstanding job of singing and hosting. Best of all he is fair, He doesn’t have his pals sing over and over while everybody else is waiting to sing. I rally like that. There is plenty of room and the crowd is unpretentious. The bar is old fashioned, no hotties pouring drinks, no flash bang effects, just some old guys workin the bar. The drinks are good price okay, parking fine and bathrooms are clean. I look forward to going again. Margarita $ 7.00 Corona +shot of Patron $ 12.00,Pabst tall can $ 4.00

Cheers is the perfect dive bar, dive bar, dive bar. I’ve stopped in a couple of times now — karaōke was hilarious(in a good way), as was the band we saw«Finger Puppets» the only band I’ve ever seen cover the B52’s… and I’ve seen the same people in there every time I’ve gone, they obviously have a very loyal, friendly, local patronage. I’ve never seen anyone smoke in the bar, so don’t let that turn you off(on?). Super Bartenders. Way casual. Dog Friendly. Pacifica prices.

Randomly drove up to Pacifica with Badri N. on a boring Sunday afternoon. Badri N. recalled there being a bar in a strip mall, so we went over and checked it out. For me, it’s kind of strange for a bar to be in the same plaza as a Safeway, Ross, and other stores, but well, this is Pacifica, so I guess things are just different. We went in just for a drink, and the bartender was really apologetic since it was his 4th day as a bartender ever, and was having difficulty finding things in the bar, understanding the drinks that we were ordering, and then finding the ingredients to make the drinks.(for the record: Badri N. ordered a Ketel One-Tonic, and I ordered a Glenlivet on the rocks) But I give kudos to the bartender for being honest about being a new bartender, and for his overall friendliness. He had quite a few people in there for a Sunday afternoon, and I am sure that it was pretty crazy for him. I also don’t think he knew how to pour the drinks because I think I ended up with more than a double, but of course, I was happy about that… :)

Nice place to go see your cover band. As good of a local bar as you could ask for. At least the last time I went.

Cheers as a name of a bar? How original. This Cheers has the super laid back, chill, and friendly patrons you would expect out of a strip mall dive bar in a small, foggy, surfer town. The vibe kinda reminds me of the bars in Hawaii except with some«Hotel California» playing instead on the jukebox. Their pool table accepts dollars and this is the first bar I’ve been to that has a ping pong table. I tried to get a game but no one wanted to play the Asian guy. Maybe this is why.
