Denny’s

Clean, nice, and excellent service. Why wait in line for an hour? Come here and get an excellent, inexpensive breakfast. Our waiter was very attentive and polite.

Denny’s food is always reliable and this location is typical. This review is a warning regarding parking here.
Five of us went there and had a good dinner and coffee last night. After an hour and a half we walked out to where our car was parked and it was gone? Western towing had removed our car because we exceeded the one hour allowable parking limit. It cost us $ 350 to get our car back two hours after it was towed. This is an absurd business practice, especially since we were in this restaurant when our car was towed. Very slimy business practice, I will never patronize another Denny’s anywhere because of this…

Andrew is very disrespectful. He should should not work here very unprofessional. He should not work here.

One of the worst servers I’ve ever had in my life. I usually don’t do this but this waiter was extremely rude once he seated us. He acted like he didn’t care and wanted the check as soon as once we were seated. Once we got the food, he never checked up on us ever again. The worst customer service I have ever received!!!

Joe is awesome! We came in here on a whim after our taco Tuesday shenanigans and he was quick, friendly, and knows how to do his job well! He deserves a raise!

Placed an order for pick up. Was told it would be ready in 8 minutes. The food was really good. And everyone was super friendly.

Terrible Service, we waited to be seated while there were seats available, we waited forever to be waited on, and then our food never arrived so we walked out. The waiter never came to check on us and was not very friendly or helpful. Last time we will be go to a Denny’s.

Well we all know the only reason we go to Denny’s is for the 24 hour and the free wifi.
Walking into this Denny’s was not much different from the others. Typical wet-​rag/​BO smell, dim lighting and lack of plugs. The waitress was nice enough to tell me that if I needed a plug, she could pull it over the register area and plug it in there. But other than that, no access to plugs. Bathrooms were a mess.
I ordered hot water, lemon and honey and a cup of coffee. The coffee tasted like it was out all day and rewarmed prior to serving to me. I just come here to study if needed.
One plus is you can get a free grand slam on your birthday. Not like you would want to come here for your birthday meal ahha!
Edit: I came and bought tea and coffee and the waiter was super nice when I asked for the bill. «Oh there actually was no bill, happy Valentine’s Day (:» ahah wish I caught his name! So + 1

I normally appreciate Denny’s, especially after a night out. But not this one. Came here after hanging out around the area with friends. I got an philly steak omelette and it tasted pretty bad. Honestly how do you mess up an omelette? Not to mention this was my impression when I was a little buzzed. In addition to the bad food, my friend ordered a side of eggs and the waiter told her it’s made with two eggs, and she was like ok cool. And when the bill came he charged her two sides of eggs ($ 1.99×2), which was completely ridiculous. If he had told her two eggs cost two times more then its fine. But trying to get that extra $ 1.99 by being sneaky like this? Seriously?! My friend voiced her concern and he took that extra charge off our bill. But really though, trying to take advantage of drunk people that comes to this restaurant is just not cool. Avoid this place at all cost! (one extra star coz my other friend got pancake puppies and it was pretty good)

Arrived after a long day at Sea World and there’s only one waiter. Got seated and 5 minutes later we got a menu, 5 minutes after we get drinks, 5 minutes after we get our order in. 25 Minutes later we get our foid. Now at restaurant for 40 minutes and the smell from the wet dingy carpet starts to take its toll. But no waiter in sight. Had to walk up to dish guy to get a drink refill and check. I gave it two stars because lights were on and it took less than 2 hours to get my fries.

It was close and you know what to expect… it is Denny’s. The wait person was pleasant and the rest of the staff was nice. Coffee was quick, Had to ask 2 times for water but we all make mistakes occasionally. The place was clean, easy in and out. Breakfast for 2 with coffee was $ 27 which seems pretty high.

Girl ol’ girl, has it really been over two years since I last dined here? If my recollection is correct, the last time I dined at this Denny’s was on a weekday, most likely on a Thursday evening for «Asian Night». Spice is the variety of life. This time, we chose Denny’s because the wait for every bars serving tacos was not worth the wait. It was Taco Tuesday by the way, and it was a going away «dinner» for my housemate. I ordered The Thing burger, which was inspired by Fox’s The Fantastic 4.

So I normally, do not like Denny’s…I mean, not at all.
I have been doing a lot of my out of the office work at coffee shops and Starbucks but as of lately it is fairly loud and or crowded in there. Not a very happy work space.
Out of desperation and a need for Air Conditioning from the Summer Heat of San Diego, I found Denny’s on Garnet.
I was suspecting the typical greasey spoon diner that Denny’s is known to be… I only wanted coffee and small work place to kill some work at.
Then I was great by Stephen! (Pronounced «Steph-​on» by the way)
He made an impression on me with a big small and a really positive attitude. That guy has a big small and a down to Earth personality that is of an old friend that you have not seen in months. Damn, I felt that I might had actually hung out with this guy once or twice in a past life or something. Still, I was blown away by him and his professional and personal presentation!
Stephan thank you for not being a robot or a scared and nervous person, but rather a helpful, personable and service providing guy! That really impressed me! I will be coming back for sure.

Came here this night, dude this people they hate there job, look if you can’t handle late night customer in pb DONT work here specially krystina she the worst, rude and attitude, if you work hard and you saying you work 22 hours a day then I as customer I don’t have to take your rudeness cause your situation. I hated every bit I had in here cause there rudeness. Zero star.

Amy is the Best! Sweetest waitress ever! She is very inviting and friendly. She offered great upgrades on the foods we ordered. It’s a Thursday night with lots of thirsty Thursday drunks and she handles them all well. I guess dealing with drunks is part of the job. She totally deserves a raise with the way she handles things. She has the capability of becoming manager. Thank you for top notch service!

I love all Denny’s every Denny’s always and forever! Very nice staff here. They were relatively busy on a Monday morning and we were seated and served promptly.
I wish I knew the name of the woman that always serves us. she’s so sweet. I always order a cup of soup and she brings me a bowl, I love her.

For me it’s not really about the food here which sounds a bit crazy I know. It’s more about the convenience, comfort, and coffee. Those three C’s are what do it for me after a night of shenanigans in PB.
I’ve always been seated upon entrance, served quickly, and accommodated as needed. I don’t really have to much to complain about there. Your typical Denny’s menu items are what you would expect. Pretty good breakfast options, the rest is mediocre experimentation.
This is my go to Denny’s, so it has a soft spot in my heart. You won’t be disappointed, but you also won’t be overly impressed. Bonus: the coffee is always fresh!

This is the best Denny’s I’ve ever eaten at. SERIOUSLY. The waitresses here are too good to be working at a dang Denny’s.
I ate here about 50 billion times this past week and every single time it was mind-​blowingly amazing, from the food to the service.
