Ozone Tattoo

First off let me start off by saying this tattoo shop is one of the nicest and cleanest tattoo shops I have ever been too. Yes they do check ID and they follow all the rules of the NYC state law. The prices are reasonable and the work is amazing. Logan did my tattoo and I must say I absolutely love it. It isn’t awkwardly quiet either, he makes tons of conversation to make you even forget you are getting a tattoo. Will be back soon!
Ps. This place is a hidden gem but once you find it you’ll love it.

Cool chill place. Natalia was my artist and I could not have asked for better. She was patient, thorough and light handed. It’s been 15 years since my last tattoo so there was quite a bit of angst. I’m definitely hooked again and will be returning for another one. Now to decide what to get.

Very cool place and I felt completely at ease. Logan was pretty chill and made me less nervous about getting my first tattoo. It was small but perfectly done and exactly what I wanted.

Clean shop, everyone is very pleasant. I watched Steve do an amazing roses and vine tattoo while I got my tattoo done, very impressive (and I am not a roses kind of girl). Natalia did a positively amazing job on my tattoo, the shading and highlights really make it pop — there is an impressive amount of detail in what is not a very large tattoo. She is also very sweet and pleasant to deal with and the price was reasonable. I had a great time chatting with her, Steve and the woman who was getting the rose tattoo, it is a comfortable space, I appreciated the choice of music. It is nice to be in a tattoo shop that I can be so relaxed in, there is no «cooler than you» attitude that a lot of tattoo shops have. I will be back for sure. I completely love my tattoo, Natalia is a true artist.

This shop is a hidden gem! Do not miss it!
You might walk by the front door once or twice before you manage to find your way inside, but it’s well worth the challenge. Once you enter, you are greeted by a roomy interior, professional and friendly staff, great prices, talented artists, and quite possibly the CLEANEST space you will find in any tattoo shop– anywhere– bathroom included!
I have had two custom pieces done at Ozone Tattoo (roughly 8 hours of work in total), and I am beyond satisfied with the quality of the work and the ambiance of the shop. The artists play great music while they work, and they are very attentive to their customers’ needs, whether it be a temperature change in the room or advice on how to translate a great idea into a great tattoo. And the artwork? Magical. Strangers stop me on the street to look and a few have even asked to take pictures. True story.
In the words of my very eloquent friend: «Natalia is simply amazing. I wanna marry her artistry and become impregnated by her skills. Absolutely stunning.»

Was just walking in the area to actually going bowling and I saw this place. Decided to check them out and was pleased with the atmosphere and the people that worked there. The tattoo artist that work there are really cool and laid back. The prices are reasonable.
Actually ended getting a sleeve done with them and I a very pleased with the work so far.

The shop looks decently clean and the staff is nice for the most part. They have all colors and prices are decent for NYC. The lady that tattoos is very talented. She seems to be the favorite among customers. There are couple of guys there who provide pretty amusing banter. Not sure if I’d go back, but not necessarily their fault. I’ll probably go closer to home next time.
Pros:
–Clean and relaxed environment. There’s a tv in the waiting room and music going in the room where they do the tattoos. The staff seems reasonably knowledgeable.
–There’s a restroom.
–They take appointments and walk-​ins.
–There are options for food nearby if you get hungry while waiting.
Cons:
–The staff doesn’t communicate well with each other. I told one person what I wanted and then when I went to get my tattoo, the guy had no idea. Why would the person at the desk even ask me if it wasn’t going to be communicated to the artist?!
–There’s only one room for getting tattoos, with multiple chairs and one table, so there’s no privacy. I was told that they don’t do work on «private» areas, but suppose you wanted a tattoo on your upper thigh and had to take your pants off? It would be in full view of everyone.
