Well, at first I would’ve given this place a 4 star review. My experience while there was ok, the braider was not super friendly but wasn’t rude either which I can appreciate. When I left my hair looked good and I liked it. Fast-Forward a month… I’ve since realized that my hair was parted waaaaaay too big in the middle. Smaller in the back and on the sides and tiny in center on the front. Since my hair is so short after big chopping, the hair around the braids has come out since the parts were so large, while the braid remains attached to the hair directly under it. Now I kind of feel like she took shortcuts to get my hair done quickly. I would’ve preferred to stay longer for a better job. Also, they need better chairs. They will ask u to slouch down so that they can reach the top of your head even though it’s very uncomfortable on your back and neck. I won’t be back.

This was my first time coming here and it was a great experience. Anda was really sweet and my braids only took 3 hrs! I was floored. I love my braids and will definitely come back. Make sure you call ahead for an appointment.

Great salon! I’ve had my hair done twice here and always had a great outcome. Called to make sure I would be seen without a long wait and within 10 mins of getting there was seen and out sooner then I thought.

Spoke to the owner about the reviews and we had a great conversation. Crystal braided hair very neatly and the atmosphere was peaceful. I’am definitely going back

Horrible, Very bad experience first my hair braider seems to pay more attention to her phone than my head. Then when one patron complained that she didn’t want to see boxes in her head it made the owner very mad and wanted to take it out on me. I thought the last hair braiding salon was a bust, this takes the cake. So this will be the last time I come here! I think I may just where my natural cuz it seems that all the of the braiding salons braiders have the mentality that they are doing something for you for free. Although I spent 220.00 for the job.

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years and it never fails that the person doing my hair will be on the phone for most of the visit. Not that I want to communicate with them but I do want to watch tv, read, surf the web in peace. However my hair always looks amazing and I always get compliments. My hair is natural and Edie usually does it since I prefer the more natural styles but occasionally I’ll get cornrows or some basic extensions. Prices are pretty good too. They braid tight and get you finished quickly.

Throughout writing this I was debating about whether to give them 2 or 3 stars. Because truthfully, at a braid place, I haven’t had better service then I’ve had here. But that’s not really saying much because the service here is still very questionable. I’m still not quite decided but as you can see I settled on 3. The quality of the work is really good. My Senegalese twists or individuals are always beautiful. And that type of quality can be rare from these braid places. I’ve heard plenty horror stories of braids falling out on the first day and whatnot. They also work quickly – which is always a plus with braid places. And though they braid tight, the Senegalese twist pain is not as intense as it is at other places. So why is it only 3 stars? The service is horrible. Though the braiders are friendly enough, they talk loud and they talk often which makes it hard for me to read, sleep, talk on the phone… anything else really besides listen to their cackling for 6 hours. And they aren’t very punctual at all. I seen a woman wait like 2 hours for an available braider. And I made a 9 o’clock appt only for my woman to come at 10. Your best bet is always being the first person there. Or going to one of your close friends that braids hair well.
