Where do I start. Breakdown. I bought my phone on E-Bay. A Verizon phone I wanted ported to Page Plus. Easy Peasy? No way! So far they have had my phone for about 3 days and each time I go back, it’s another issue. Seriously, I have spent hours and several trips to this stupid store. They said they ported my number, which I guess they did, but it’s mot programmed into the phone. Guess what? Now my old cell is not working! Phone is unlocked, yay! I go to the store, phone is not unlocked. Old number has been ported! Yay! Go to the store, number is the wrong number. I call today. Okay, everything’s perfect! Go to the store. Number still not ported and phone still not unlocked. I ask if I can just call Page Plus and do it myself, he said no, I had to bring the phone back again tomorrow! I call Page Plus anyway and they port my number over to the phone. Finally! Then she asks if my phone is 3g or 4g. Well, it’s 4G so now I have to go back and have them program it for 3G. Page Plus said this should take minutes. Well, this whole process should have taken minutes. the store never told me anything about this 3G4G business. Other items, the lines are HORRIBLE. I waited an hour just to ask a question. That should have been my first clue. One of the workers who was left there on his own said he has only worked there for two weeks and doesn’t know much about the phones. Say What?! So my activation fee and first month’s payment has been made for 6 days now and still no phone. Do I cut my losses and go to another store to have them complete the process? Hell yes! What should have been a simple process has turned into a nightmare. People are switching to no-contract phones all the time. This should not have happened and should not sway anyone’s feeling about switching. Just a bad experience with this store.
