I was referred to Dr. Najafi to redo my root canal. I’m very anxious to go to anyone in the dental field, but this Dr. made me feel very calm by letting me know he will be gentle. Those words were gold! He is patient and very professional. He asked how I was doing during the procedure which is, in my opinion, very reassuring. I truly was impressed with his work. He is a perfectionist. I’m thrilled his office took my insurance. His staff were very courteous and they told me up front what my cost would be, which was more reasonable than I had thought it was going to be. My experience with this whole office was superb!

I came in this place because my insurance … It’s here in the Oxnard twin towers very nice place… As soon as I walk in I was greeted by Kristin … She made me feel comfortably … I was feeling a bit scared anyway she made my visit pleasant and a walk thrue the park I found out this doctor had been in practice for 20 some years … Wow after this visited I understand why … This place rocks … If it’s a doctor for this u need to see this place has that doctor … The staff is friendly and they make u feel at easy !!!

First of all, I have a crazy phobia of going to the dentist. It’s not the fear of needles, not the fear of pain. Just something about the dentist, I have never been a fan.
So needless to say I had to go to a root canal specialist because of neglect to my mouth of 5+ years. They had to do the 2 root canals through my porcelain crowns.
There are several specialists in our area but I chose this doctor bc my dentist told me that Dr. Najafi was VERY gentle and nice.
During both of my visits I didn’t feel any pain at all other then having to keep my mouth open for 1.5 hours. He made sure that the areas surrounding the tooth were nice and numb. He also kept numbing the tooth itself while he was working.
The was very thorough and would take X-​rays during the procedure to make sure he got everything.
If I ever have to go through this again I work definitely choose Dr. Najafi.
Also if you don’t have insurance like me, they offer Carecredit.
I promise you, you won’t be disappointed with the care he takes into his work.
Don’t believe the naysayers who previously made claims a few years back.

I agree with Brent G. Margaret is exactly as described. The billing practices at this office are fraudulent. This dentist services many non-​english speaking patients that do not know how to protect themselves from these thieves. Stay away from this place. I had a root canal re-​done here. Then the bills came! When I asked them for the dental procedure codes that were performed, Margaret hung up! Stay away!

BEWARE! This so-​called specialist is a thief!
I went in to this office for an emergency root canal back in April and now, wow I regret it! The office is modern and clean, however the billing specialist/​receptionist Margaret is a total spaz. Not only does she talk over you, she has the personality like she is always «right». She is absolutely terrible, I recommend staying away from her and would refer you to alexandra. She was superb. The only one in that office with a sense of logic.
As previously stated, I went in for an emergency root canal in April. Referred by my general dentist and within my dental insurance, I was hopeful this place would do a good job and was respectful. The root canal was not that bad, however its what happens next which completely turns me off. My first mistake was giving them my credit card number for any «additional charges» that would incur if my insurance did not cover it. Mind you they asked for it while I sat in the dentist chair in agonizing pain. After everything was said and done, not only did they max out the coverage from my dental insurance, but they also had hundreds of dollars in additional charges which were fraudulent.
Thankfully my credit card company was great. I sent them my explanation of benefits letters from my insurance company, which showed what i was truly responsible for. They reversed ALL the charges. Today, this dirty company decided to rebill my credit card after I proved they were wrong.
Not only BEWARE, BUT AVOID this guy. They truly are THIEVES!
