I see Dr. mescher for sleepcare routine management check-ins, otherwise I’m «young and healthy.» The Rx requires a doctor visit ever 6mo. He and his staff are very accommodating of prescriptions with«special circumstances» requiring additional insurance information and such. We discuss what’s relevant and then move on with our days… Going to the doctor is lame, dr. Mescher lets me get in, out, and on with my life(Rx refill in hand)

Completely agree with the previous review. This man clearly does not want to be a doctor. no compassion, no drive to help someone in need, and put no effort into looking over my chart to find out what I needed/wanted. He is a liability to this hospital, and to the patients.

I have never written a review about a doctor before, and I see I am his first. All I can say is this guy needs to get into a different field. ZERO bedside manners. He is the least compassionate doctor I have ever encountered.ever. Even if you break down and cry in front of the man he is stone cold, unapproachable, and bothered. I had to deal with him at both Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo and then St. John’s Oxnard Hospital all within a 4 week time span. The first time he sent my grandmother home with zero oxygen which almost killed her. Then, when I refused to go back to PV Hospital so I wouldn’t have to deal with him, I realized he was in a group and rotated over at St. John’s. Dear Lord. I was so upset to see my grandmother was going to be treated by him again. Even the RN’s at BOTH hospitals hated working with him. They all said things about him being unapproachable and some other things I will not repeat. When I ran into him in the hall after not being able to get a hold of him in a timely manner, he acted as if I was a huge bother and he kept walking. He really shouldn’t be practicing any longer. I think he is tired and worn out his doctor duties. His partner is a gem. I was so glad to have him during rotations and told him I did not want to see Dr. Mescher again. When I did have to deal with this man he told me his partner was Dr. Feelgood, and he was going to tell me how it is. Although my grandmother was elderly she was in great shape up to a month before she got sick. He treated her as if she was dead before he even met her. Steer clear of this doctor at all costs.
