Blenders In The Grass

Ordered the Tropical Kale. It has bits of fresh leaves in it and chunks of pineapple to disguise the taste. They have quite an extensive menu of juices and smoothies.
Service was quick and the shop was really clean.

Really really good. I ordered the Tropical Kale with protein and it was amazing. I’m not a regular Blenders customer because there isn’t one near my house but it was the da bomb. Busy store in the morning and the staff hustle to get you in and out.

My bad, I meant to review the Oxnard location. Never been to this one. Sounds like they all suffer from the same customer service issues.

Fast and friendly service. Excellent staff in this particular store. I get just about every flavor in a bowl with granola, honey, bananas and coconut flakes. It’s usually a green tea bowl or tropical guava bowl for me but they’re all good.

No juice spot compares to Blenders in my opinion! I am so glad they opened one up on the other side of Ventura! It is much closer to my work and great for an afternoon pick me up. My little daughter loves it too. We are always treated kindly here and our drinks are made in a timely fashion. I also love that the menu is simple and the prices are affordable. Also the drinks don’t taste as «sugary» as other juice bars I have been to. I am a lifelong customer and firm believer in there healthy drinks!

First time hearing of blenders… First time being there. I chose the tropical pineapple with total (a supplement) Very delicious! Clean and quick!

OMG I was at the Victoria location recently and I was helped by an employee named destiny, she was very professional and took her time explaining the variety of drinks u offer. I was very pleased with the customer service she provided, the drink she recommended was great! I will b back again!

Let me start with saying I absolutely love blenders. My first pick above all the other smoothie places. However this location left something to be desired. Both my son and my smoothies had a weird chemical taste. So much so that we ended up throwing them away. $ 10 down the drain. The employees seemed annoyed to have their little gossip session interrupted. No proper greeting, just an annoyed look. Although this location is extremely conveniently located, I’ll happily drove further to visit a blenders location with friendly employees who practice good customer service and who know how to make a smoothie.

I love blenders it’s the best I go everyday day it’s my favorite the only thing that I don’t like so much it’s pretty pricey

My favorite smoothie served here is the Tropical Kale. So delish!
Only 4 star instead of 5 is because 1 time my Tropical Kale had bits of ice that couldn’t go thru my straw. If I wasn’t in a hurry, I’d come back & have them re-​make it.
I notice the employee was distracted (talking with a friend) while blending my smoothie. Key word here is Focus.
Overall, this place I don’t mind coming to over & over again. :)

Blenders is the best when comes to smoothies and acai bowls! The employees are very helpful, assist with a smile, recommend drinks, provide a quick service. Never have to wait long, they move quick and get my order right every time. My kids and I frequent this place about once a week.

I wish Blenders would expand to LA county and the OC!
I cannot believe I am just trying this now for the first time in life. I had the Red Pineapple at Blenders yesterday and it was probably the best smoothie I’ve ever had. That is not an exaggeration. So. Tasty!

I’ve been here a few times and never had a bad experience. The drinks here are really great and revitalizing especialy after a good workout. There are many options to get your health kick going. The staff are quick, efficient and always have smiles on their faces. I think the staff are drinking these awesome smoothies as well. Why else would they be this happy? The place is super clean and the price of a healthy shake is reasonably priced.

My wife has a severe gluten allergy & yesterday she went there hoping to get some lunch because she had not eaten all day. They informed her that they did not have gluten free granola for the acai bowls (even though every healthy/​shake place we have EVER been to offers that!) but said they could put protein in it to make up for lack of the granola. They started to make her bowl and she looks at the protein and realizes they are putting WHEY in her acai bowl! They apologized and said they were making a new one, but after she left & finished eating her bowl she almost passed out driving on the freeway & the only time she becomes lethargic to that extent is after her body consumes gluten. After we were able to get her home she slept from 5pm-​midnight!!! This was the first time she had eaten yesterday because she was swamped at work so there is no way that it was anything else.
I don’t know if the employees used the same blender they had originally put the protein in, or what happened. All I know is that they need to be educated on cross contamination because people go to places like this establishment specifically because they have restricted diets. This has never happened at sunlife organics, bowl of heaven or nektar. I never write negative Unilocal reviews, I normally only like to mention employees that do great because I work in customer service as well but this has never happened ANYWHERE we have eaten and is not ok!

One thing … Ive tried calling in advance to place a phone order and they never answer the phone :(
but… I go in get my drink and I love them all over again. My favorite drink is the «Red orange» :D

After I went to Korean restaurant, «Sura», I stooped by this smoothie place. The staffs were very friendly and I could go inside the shop although my dog was with me.
I had no idea what I should have got but tried «Pina Colada». It was delicious! It was pineapple juice, non-​fat milk and coconut. Maybe I will order this again…

In general, I love Blenders in the Grass smoothies. My usual is the Power Greens with supplements. You can always substitute the ingredients if you wanted to.
When it comes to customer service/​friendliness, it’s always a hit or miss regardless of what location I’ve gone to (Camarillo, Ventura or Oxnard location).
Maybe 70% of the time I’ll get the better service:

If the employees were extremely rude, I’ll just avoid going to that location all together.

I’ve been looking for a smoothie place around the area and stumbled upon this one. It’s right next to my grocery store and I’ve been wanting to check it out. I love Jamba Juice and this place looked exactly like it!
I stopped by here before I went out to the beach and decided to get a tropical smoothie and I added whey protein. It was seriously so refreshing and delicious! I will definitely come back. The acai bowl also looked amazing!
