Abiding In the Vine

First time here, and it was pretty good. The service by Michelle was fantastic, she was very personable and friendly.
I had a traditional frittata that was excellent and decently priced.
The homemade cream with scone was phenomenal.
The #1 tea place did not disappoint. There was a plethora of choices.
If you visiting the small town of Owosso, I recommend stopping by for a bite to eat.

Really great place, Michelle was awesome! I got the pleasure of enjoying the savory crepes for breakfast and some really good black tea. Also their scones are home made and fantastic! I had a very good experience with the broseidens, Kings of the brocean.

This is a charming tea room and café in a classic American small town. The food is home-​made, but not old-​fashioned; the service is attentive and friendly; and the diverse selection of tea thoughtfully presented. It is my favorite lunch place in Owosso. It is open some evenings and can be a great spot to catch a meal before a show at the Lebowsky Center across the street.
Some people may either be put off by the somewhat fussy décor, and the ladies groups (often with hats) gathered there for a meal, but it truly gives the restaurant character. And you will be welcomed and made to feel at home whether you are there on your own, for a business meeting, or a leisurely social meal.
The menu is both traditional and creative, with well made sandwiches (hot and cold), soups, quiche, and original salads. I had a salad with dried-​cherry and chicken on my last visit that was outstanding; dressings always served on the side. The baked goods – muffins, cupcakes, breads – are the real speciality of the chefs. The creamy tomato basil soup is also outstanding.

Great new location for a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasant with acoustical guitar and ukulele being preformed the evening we ate dinner. The menu is made fresh including the soups! For me the loose leaf tea selection is the reason to become a regular. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
