Mattress Discounters Owings Mills

You better bargain because they want your business.
I’m not sure what I was expecting but I wasn’t impressed by these guys. I ended up buying a King mattress set from them today because they price matched Sears, it was convenient, offered delivery when I needed it (2 days from now) and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of calling Sears and trying to phone order… however! I got a decent deal for the convenience. I’ve purchased from the Columbia Mattress Discounters and was quite impressed, but the Owings Mills location is sleazy like all the other mattress places. The two salesmen weren’t that enthusiastic or friendly. I’m not sure they wanted to sell any mattresses today until we said we were leaving. The older guy’s cologne also burned a whole through my nose (I don’t want any mattress of mine having any scent of anything — I recommend mattress stores ban cologne and perfume on their sales reps.
The mattress they were going to price match was a decent mattress but it wasn’t available on the date we needed it so they ended up offering a $ 3k mattress that was on sale for $ 1200. That was comparable to Sears and it was a really good mattress.

We stopped in at 8:45 p.m., granted the store closed at 9 however we just wanted to return some mattress covers. We encountered a sleeping giant complete with drool. After 5 minutes to awaken him, he was on the phone complaining to someone on the complications of a return at 8:55. He refused to address our return request and told us to return the following day. Huh??? In what world do you have to persuade a business to accept their unused unopened product back two days after purchase??? I’m beyond aggravated and would love to remove the mandatory one star on Unilocal

I just got the Tempur-​pedic mattress from Mattress Discounters and was «Wowed» by the service my family and I received.
As soon as you walk in the door, the sales rep welcomes you like a family. They are well trained, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable about each product on display.
They definitely have better deals than «Sleepy’s», since these Tempur-​pedics are never on sale, Mattress Discounters threw in several perks along with the purchase of their mattress.
I highly recommend them at any given time. :)
