Amazing amazing spot! Very attentive service, the gyro platters were very tasty. Desserts was a bit box like tasting, but honestly the portions and price was right on point with everything else!

Me and my wife eat Greek food everywhere we travel and this place had just as good if not better than anywhere else. The avgolemano soup was delicious followed by dolmas and gyro with a side of pistachio that was so delicious.

I can’t say for sure if this is the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten food from but it definitely is in the top 3. Ordered lamb chops(to go) and opened it up. The rice pilaf had this pungent sour smell that was totally off-putting. It was as if someone took the rice and let it sit outside in the summer sun for a couple days and then dished it out… gross! Then to top it off I noticed a couple hairs inside the container which is easy to see because it contrasts against a white container easily. Made me wonder how many other hairs was actually mixed into the food. Between both of those things I just couldn’t touch the food, I tossed it. It seemed pretty obvious that the people running that restaurant don’t really have respect for their food. The only other option for greek-style food in the area is in the Oviedo mall food court. I ate their once and the gyros were very good. I just can’t recommend Santorini’s at all. They’ll never see business from me ever again.

Excellent meditranian food! Hummus is perfectly balanced. Chicken is seasoned just right. The flavors dance in your mouth. I wish they had a location in Dallas.

After our first negative experience 3 years ago we have been back but we now always get take out. My husband is a big fan of the gyro and says it is the best he has had in Orlando. The only other item we order regularly is the giant beans: large white beans in a savory tomato sauce which are quite tasty.

I’m just in shock at how terrible this restaurant was. We walked in there were 2 guests sitting eating and a guy in the kitchen texting. No one greeted us, as we attempted to sit a lady(server) came out of the restroom and said we couldn’t sit at the that table it’s for parties of more people… how would we know we were seating ourselves. So sat in a booth, ordered saganaki to start and our drinks. My husband says I have a bad feeling about this place and just as soon as he said it a microwave beeped and out came our saganaki… WOW… we both ordered Gyros platters and I asked for no lettuce or tomato on my sandwich and he asked for no lettuce or onion on his sandwich… Now, the platter is 1 sandwich and a salad just to give you a heads up… Our plates came out with a semi warm gyro and a pile of cheese with cucumber an olive and tomato on his and onion on mine… uhm where’s the salad? She responded with you said no lettuce… Yeah on the sandwiches!!! Oh, we were confused about that she says… What’s confusing about your menu says lettuce on the sandwich to which we both said we didn’t want on the sandwich! She offered to have him remake it however as Jenky as the situation was we just asked for the bowl of lettuce to assemble our own salads on our plates. I laughed through eating at the level of stupidity it really takes in this case. Definitely a Wow factor lol. I want to add my pic somehow to this just so everyone can laugh with me!!!

It’s been quite some time since I’ve dined here and it’s with sadness that I say that Santorini is not the same as when they first opened a couple years ago. Before when you walked in, there was an energy about the place, it was cleaner, brighter, and now even the workers seem sad/dismayed and I have to say that this reflects on their food. My favorite thing here was their appetizer dish of Giant Beans. The way that it would be served would be marinated in a spiced vinaigrette/tomato sauce, slices of thin onions, and a side of pita bread. This time around it was just the beans in their sauce, no thinly sliced onion, no bread. I asked the waitress if it came with bread and she said no. I told her it use to come with bread and sliced onion and she looked at me like she didn’t know what I was talking about and it very well could be that she doesn’t if she’s new and this was a downgrade they did. I know it may not seem like a lot but those thinly sliced onions gave the addition of flavor and texture and the bread was then used to sop up the sauce. They may not see it, but the loss of those little details would prevent me from ordering the beans in the future again. I also ordered the gyro salad and it was ok. I like that they crisped up the gyro meat and it came with tzatziki sauce and feta cheese, olives, lettuce and tomato. Our waitress was friendly, checked on us often but again; it’s not the same place I remember, and they should be mindful of keeping the place cleaner overall. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and not only did it reek but it looked as if the floors had either not been mopped in a long time, or that they used a dirty mop to clean. Geez, so very sad, I use to love this place.

After picking up my wife’s computer I thought I would try a Greek restaurant I saw the other day. It is located in downtown Oviedo and is a little mom n pop shop and I am a sucker for mom n pop places. I walked in and took a couple of pictures. I was greeted by the server and she told me to sit anywhere so I sat down near the window. The first thing I noticed was the table was not cleaned properly and asked the server to clean the table. She quickly wiped down the table and even moved the salt and pepper shakers. I ordered an unsweetened Iced Tea with Lime but they only had lemon. When she returned with my drink I inquired if there was a lunch menu and she pointed to the bottom left part of the menu. After a few minutes I nodded at her and she came right to the table. I ordered a cup of the Avgolemono, a small Greek salad and a Gyro. My soup came out very quickly and I was warned it was very hot so I chose to let it cool down a little. Once it cooled down for about 2 minutes I tasted it. The soup was very bland overall. You could barely taste the lemon and it needed some seasoning. I added some salt to try and help with the blandness but that was futile. My server is now showing up with my salad and Gyro less than five minutes after bringing me my soup. I let her know I was not pleased with the soup and she took it back. The salad was presented nicely but the dressing was weak on flavor and they used the core of the iceberg lettuce. It was nothing special to be honest. The Gyro had a generous amount of meat but it was nothing special. The pita was very fluffy and not the traditional pita you expect with a Gyro. The tzatziki sauce could have used some more dill and there was no feta on the Gyro. I was unimpressed to be honest. I was asked if I wanted dessert but I did not want to try any more food because what I had was mediocre at best. I read the reviews before entering the place and noticed there were good reviews but very few of them. I can only assume that over time the place has lost what made it special. As I left I was speaking to two of the other patrons and they come for lunch regularly because it is close to work. It pains me to write a review like this for a mom n pop restaurant because I normally find some of the best food at mom n pop places. Right up the road I found a little hole in the wall BBQ joint that blew me away. I suspect this place has just become complacent over time because it is apparent that they really care by the way they plate the food. The choice of pita bread could have been better. Tasting the soup before serving it would have helped to catch the blandness before the customer did. The same goes for the dressing being offered with the salad. I usually try the basics at an ethnic restaurant to see how they fair before trying the more complicated dishes. I will come back in a month or two to see if this was simply an off day.
