Had a great dinner, the tri tip tacos and a really great raspberry sour beer. April, out waitress, was great! As was Stephanie. Had a great time and ate some good food.

While visiting my sister and BIL, we stopped here for brunch. What a cool place especially if you are into music! Our waitress, April was awesome. Very friendly and the appetizers were great.

Rock and brews is one of the best places in Oviedo! The atmosphere is super groovy and the music is always awesome. Their menu is extensive and everything they cook tastes like it was made by angels and sent down from heaven

Had the strawberry avocado salad. It was light and refreshing. The walls are filled with KISS memorbelia. At the bar there are about 20+ draft choices. Fire pit outside and open atmosphere. Service was fine.

one of my go-to spots in the oviedo area for an after work drink… because my dogs are able to hang out here as well, it gets my vote for best patio. drinks are good, and reasonably priced. they have a really friendly and accommodating staff. Asia has been our server a number of times and she is the best! we, my dogs included, love her! I haven’t eaten much from the menu, but the giant pretzel and freebird chicken sandwich are both good picks. décor is fun, music is good and never too loud to where you have to yell at people at your table. they always change it to a game we’re interested in when we ask them, bring a bowl of water for the dogs, and know exactly when we need a drink refill… my favorite place in the neighborhood to decompress after a long day of work…

One of my favorite spots for a casual, chill night out. I’ve been to Rock & Brews so many times since its opening. My boyfriend used to live nearby and when he did, we dined here at minimum once a week because we loved it so much. They even had a party once for the season première of The Walking Dead that we attended. Everyone dressed up. It was a blast. The Food: Like I said, I’ve been to Rock & Brews MANY times. And not once have I had a bad meal. The food is solid. Some of my favorites — the Hawaiian Street Tacos are an AMAZAZING appetizer. A lot of great flavor. If you’re not a fish love, the Tropical Lettuce Wraps are very good too. Entrée-wise, I’m usually a salad lover. And R&B has some surprisingly good salads. You really can’t go wrong with any of them. In terms of other meals, the Baja Fish Tacos and the Fireball Burger are also great picks. Then there is dessert. Sweet Surender Bread Pudding. Order it. You’re welcome. The Brews: R&B has a really great selection of brews, which you would expect given their name. There’s something here for everyone. And some of their brews change out seasonally. And, for those of you who aren’t big beer fans(like myself), they have a pretty solid selection of wine as well that is surprisingly decent given that this is really a beer joint. The Atmosphere: Rock & Brews has an all-around chilled out rocker vibe. The waiters are really nice and the service is always great. The restaurant is set up somewhat like a sports bar. TV’s line the walls and you can always catch the game. But there’s also a really cool infusion of rock. Old school music videos on screen while awesome tunes play throughout the restaurant. And a lot of rock n’ roll décor covering every wall. I just love the vibes. What I need to go back to try: BRUNCH! Yes, R&B now serves brunch. And I have not yet been. So that’s next on my list. Bottom line: If you like the casual vibes of a sports bar but also have a special place in your heart for rock and roll, you need to check out Rock & Brews.

Great atmosphere! Pleasantly surprised. Spur of the moment decision to come in for dinner on a Saturday night. Our waiter Matthew gave us great recommendations on our drinks. Rum for me and beer for hubby. Loved seeing videos and hearing rock music from different decades. Had the Hawaiian Street Tacos app. A little bland, but after I discovered the miniscule cube shaped Wasabi on the serving plate they were better. Hubby ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich with a Carolina based BBQ sauce instead of the regular sauce with a side of steamed veggies. I had the Blue cheese and Applewood Smoked Bacon Burger with sweet potato fries. We were both happy with our choices. We will be back the next time we are town!

I ate here a couple times because of their blue cheese burger with sweet potato fries and the giant pretzel with the beer cheese. The customer service was good but the only thing is that they always take a while to start serving you. I don’t know if they got confused of who is doing what table or what. Other then that the customer service was good and they are all friendly and give suggestions if you don’t know what you want. The environment is really cool too because they have a different sports games on and also have different music videos playing as well. So it’s definitely a good hangout spot if your looking to chill with friends and family and listen to some good music and watch some sports.

Super cool environment to be in to enjoy really good American food and listen to classic rock music at the same time. When I eat here I always seem to catch myself singing along or rocking my head to the music. You also get to enjoy classic music video as well. I recommend ordering the large pretzel with the beer cheese dipping sauce. I’ve tried their blackened salmon burger which was so juicy, as well as tried their beef burgers. Medium to medium well seems to perfect their burgers. Juiciest burger I’ve tried so far in Oviedo. Their workers seem very friendly and down to earth. I never experienced a bad time yet here. They also have a cool outdoor section with a lounge and television to still enjoy music videos. It’s near a Macaroni Grill but there are a lot of parking. This place seems to be busier at night. They also have a dog menu of you bring your furry companion. That’s so cool! Must try if you’re in Red Bug.

Took our first trip to Rock & Brews last week after moving to the neighborhood. Had a great experience. Came around 6pm on a Monday and had a decent crowd. Not too loud but lots of TVs and lights for entertainment. Nice sports bar type setting… but ROCK themed! Loved watching old school videos while watching football. Loved it. Service was great. Kaylie was our waitress and was very happy to have us for our first time there. She gave us a good low down on all the food and a couple of her favorites. We had the BB Ribs and Fish & Chips, which both were great! Attached a few pics to their Unilocal page. Will DEF go back … maybe this week!.. it is monday again. ;)

I’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened, but never really in that part of town. So, I made the drive to actually check it out. Went for happy hour on Friday. Sat outside on the patio(the weather was perfect). Apparently happy hour is only at the bar and high tops inside, but since it was my first time and I had no idea, the waiter said she’d give me the happy hour prices :) I’m sure she was glad she did because we ordered a lot of stuff lol. Mac & Cheese Poppers — the best thing we had there! Fried Pickles — ok but I’ve had better Asian Wings — good flavor Giant Pretzel with bier cheese — yummy! And we ordered 4 beers. The place wasn’t that busy when we got there(6pm). Happy hour is until 7pm. When we left around 8:30, it was packed. Lots of TVs everywhere so this would be a good place to watch a game.

If I described this restaurant in one word, that word would be balanced. I’m really surprised by this place. I usually prefer quiet places. This restaurant has TV’s everywhere and music playing but it’s not too loud! Their food is surprisingly good too. Unlike a lot of brewery restaurants, Rock N Brews has a menu that extends beyond items dropped in a fryer. I’ve been enjoying their burgers. My brother in law likes their chicken pasta. And now to the brews. 56 brews on tap! A lot of them are locally sourced. A number change from time to time. They offer flights which gives you the opportunity to sample several. If you get a chance to meet Ben(look for the thin mustache) he can help you find a beer you like. He’s a wealth of information and fun to talk with. They also have brunch on Saturday and Sunday. I looked at the menu and it sounds great. They also have a coffee beer that I sampled and am planning on ordering. But then they have Bloody Mary’s though so that may win. Or both!

The scenery is good. Lots of tables and greeting was nice. We gave our number for a table and was told 15 min. Went to the bar to get a drink during the wait. Server came over and I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beer. She said no, no? Who doesn’t NA beer? So I went to the bar after she took everyone else’s order and sure enough, ended up with a NA beer. We ended up staying at the high top because apparently they texted us 5 minutes after we sat down and ten minutes later when we saw it they had already given up our table and never put us back on the list to be texted for another table — that was annoying. We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese as a starter. Pretzel was good covered in salt so brushed most off as it was too salty for me. Beer cheese was a little watery and thought it would’ve been better with a thicker consistency. Sweet and spicy mustard that also came with was good. For main I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which server said was«very popular». Came with coleslaw and dill pickles. I ordered an additional side of french fries. Sandwich was decent, pork was really dry. French fries and coleslaw were good. My friend ordered the turkey burger and she was happy with it and her husband the tri top sandwich and vegetables. Just a note per the server: you cannot get side of vegetables dry here. They mix butter and veggies at the start of the day and then distribute them when ordered. This is odd to me. The atmosphere is cool, lots of tv’s so good for sports enthusiasts and the draft picks are plenty to choose from as well as bottled options. Big bar area. I’d come back here again when in Orlando for drinks, sports and possibly a pizza as I was told those are pretty good.

This might be my new favorite restaurant! I went for its dog-friendly atmosphere, and my puppy and I had a blast! Its not enough to say that the staff is dog-friendly– they are dog lovers! Daisy tried one of their meals and a «bowser beer” — a broth mix. They were very reasonably priced and she loved them! What really impressed me, however, was the quality of the«human food». I expected it to be good, but — like other celebrity restaurants — to be a little generic. However, all of our meals were fantastic! I had the chicken with mango chili sauce. Yum!

I’m a fan! After dining at this relatively new concept several times(five to be exact) since it opened, I am overdue at giving Rock & Brews a review. I’m disappointed to see that currently Unilocalers have rated this place only 3 ½ stars. My observation is that more than half of the reviews were by first timers who visited within a month of the restaurant opening. The other rationale is that patrons are coming in with unrealistically high expectations. Driving by, this place exudes a fun atmosphere. Its impressive free-standing building lights up a somewhat quiet area of town like a fireworks show. Upon entering the front doors, you are greeted by an open warehouse-type atmosphere with high top tables and booths. Some Unilocalers complained about the fact that there are a lot of high tops and you may dine next to strangers. I don’t see this as a negative, but rather a positive. The high-top seating is first-come, first-served and lends itself to quicker seating on busy nights. So what if you have to sit next to strangers? If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate dinner out with your significant other, you’ve come to the wrong place. The walls inside are covered in colorful faces of rock and pop icons from John Lennon to Madonna. Televisions blasting old time rock videos and current sporting events(soccer, football, basketball, etc) brings the entertainment value even higher. I think the lighting is somehow synchronized with the song selection. One weird part about this place is the colored lights shine awkwardly on your food but it doesn’t really bother me that much. On nights that I’ve dined there, the rock music has been played at a reasonable level — loud enough for a fun atmosphere but not too loud that you can’t hear the person next to you. Okay, this place has got the ROCK part(of Rock & Brews) covered! R&B’s also delivers on the BREWS — the establishment features an extended bar area with just as lengthy selection of brews. They’ve got a ton of craft and international beers to satisfy any desire. They also do a good job of bringing in local beer and even have some gluten free options(my favorite, a pear cider) to add to their impressive selection. Now let’s talk about the FOOD. I’ve tried the Fireball Burger(delicious), Turkey Burger(surprisingly moist), Spicy Asian Wings(tasty and a good portion), Calamari(okay), Coleslaw(pretty good with a hint of bacon), and Coachella Italian Salad(very good). The fries are also AMAZING. My husband and I think that they fry them twice or put some kind of special batter on them to make them crispy and yummy. My husband’s favorite is the R&B Special Pizza as it is covered in meat. Overall, we like the food a lot despite this being a bar and grill. The prices are reasonable too, although we suspect that they may raise prices at some point. I can’t complain about the service. I’ve maybe had one bad server the five times that I’ve been there, and he wasn’t even that bad(just seemed inexperienced). Some other unique things to note about this place have been mentioned in previous reviews, such as cool outdoor seating with fire pits and a dog menu, so I won’t go into detail about them. Note that if you join R&B’s Facebook page, you’ll receive updates on upcoming events and specials. Overall, this place is a win!

Rock & Brews was such a fun night out for dinner. This was a pleasant surprise to find in Oveido. We had family visiting from out of town and found out that this place is a tourist destination since the restaurant owners(or investors) are members of the band KISS. The place has a high ceiling and it’s a big warehouse style restaurant and bar. There is also a large covered patio with TVs and it’s pet friendly outside. It’s not like the Hard Rock Café, but there is vibe inside with all the musician images that feels pretty cool and a wee bit similar. Music fans enjoy this atmosphere. Also there was a super long bar with so many beers on tap, the selection was really vast. Loved all the vintage style music posters and photos of the musicians around the place! There was loud music and videos being played on the large monitors. Some of the videos were really obscure and interesting, enjoyed that they have a huge selection of music to play and it wasn’t just top 40 music. They had crazy 80’s-90’s alternative videos playing. I tried the house Bloody Mary served with all the regular toppings and a strip of bacon added(so it wasn’t kosher) and it was so good! The wings are really great and the sweet asian flavor was our table’s favorite. Tried the pizza and that was great too. The pretzel with beer cheese was huge and perfect for sharing. I am not sure why I liked this place so much, at first I though it sounded sort of touristy and contrived, but we had a great night and the service was really attentive. I would go back again for sure and enjoy another Bloody Mary and giant pretzel anytime.

I can appreciate Rock n Brews for being that added family meal spot in the Oviedo area. Food is okay and the restaurant is lively. The menu had varied options so I just looked through for their most popular items and settled on the tri-tip sandwich. My dining companion ordered a calamari app and burger. From what I tried, the food seemed over seasoned. The calamari was dipped into seasoned batter and rubbery. My sandwich had the perfect bun, but the meat was too salty for my liking. Our server was still new so she seemed unsure of her workflow. At one point she brought over the bar manager to explain what a Saison was when we didn’t even inquire. Turns out the people who sat at our table before us asked her and she didn’t remember until much later. No biggie, mistakes happen, but the bar manager made it uncomfortable for us by making a snide comment to the server. We didn’t need to hear that so I tried to diffuse the situation by complimenting his handlebar mustache and thanking him for his time. GAH, AWKWARD! I wouldn’t mind coming back, but I think I will take my time in doing so.

I was driving by the other day and decided to stop by and give it a try. I had heard about Rock & Brews on the radio. I decided to have a seat at the bar, and was greeted by Nate the bartender. He probably asked me if I want to have a beer, and he poured me a Guinness which was on. I asked him for a recommendation, he recommended the blue cheese burger with Applewood smoked bacon. it was yummy. All of the bar staff was very chatty and friendly made you feel very welcome. I noticed quite a few fiftysomething-year-old couples having lunch at tables and at the bar. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. plenty of very large TV screens with sports playing on them. Of course there was rock ‘n roll videos playing at the same time. A rock ‘n roll theme sports bar, why didn’t somebody think of this earlier. Definitely worth a visit.
