Marco’s Pizza

Marco’s Pizza is definitely one of my favorite pizza places and the fact that they support individuals like me who contribute to their community by donating blood makes it even more desirable to always go back to them. Thank You guys for your delicious pozzas and for supporting the community,

We love Marco’s. It is always delicious pizza and is ready quickly. What more can you ask for a delivery pizza place?

I have to admit since the closure of donatos this is the better pizza in the area. HOWEVER, the service is some of the worst. Every time I order I get a free pizza because they dork up the order. And I mean every time. The staff lacks basic customer service skills but they are quick to give you a pizza to shut you up. Honestly, I’m going here because I virtually have a free pizza credit waiting from the last order (7^th time). It would be sad if it wasn’t funny. They need better management at this location.

A step up, kinda, from frozen pizza.

The guy who was working the register was a little rude but the pizza itself was so worth it! White Cheezy pizza + garlic butter crust

I have a really hard time pulling the trigger on two stars here. However, I have to say that at least they didn’t give me food poisoning and that’s good, amiright? Should some type of pizza holocaust ensue and they are the only Pizza place left standing, take comfort in knowing that you won’t die after eating it.*
*Disclaimer: This statement is my opinion. There is no way that I can guarantee you will live after eating this pizza. Maybe you gorge yourself and choke on the dough. I can’t be held responsible for that. Let’s be honest though, if we get to this point after the pizza holocaust happens, I think we have more important things to worry about. On second thought, just stockpile some Totino’s Party Pizza and avoid this place all together. That should solve the problem and they taste better anyway.

Maybe I just came on the right day, but I really liked this place.
Simply because it’s a chain does not a bad experience make. Everything worked out well, and I got a free slice for donating blood earlier that day at the blood bus. I get fed, the vampires get fed, who’s complaining?
The pizza was good. Not just ok, not the best I’ve had, but definitely did the job, and for not too much cash. True statement that the pizza was not greasy. I wonder what factors lead to pizza greasiness. Probably the cheese, which indicated that Marco’s may actually invest in better cheeses and still provide a cheap product. That is a solid business model. That, or I’m blowing hot air and don’t know shit.
The chicken wings were surprisingly good, of the sort that are really soft so that you can yank out the bones or do some gross party trick where you pop a whole wing and push two clean bones out of your mouth 4 seconds later.
The insides looked like a Subway, which is to say, eerily clean and full of food porn.

I’m kind of sad to update this review. We haven’t been ordering as often for a few reasons, all of which are service related. The last few times, we’ve ordered from them, they took FOREVER to deliver. I’m talking upwards of 2 hours. Also, their online ordering system just sucks lately. It won’t honor coupons that are scrolling across the website, which means I pay more for my pizza. Sure, I could call them, but I don’t have time for that crap. If you’re going to offer website ordering, make it work. And the crème de la crème? I received today’s pizza completely uncut. A whole pizza. Annoying.

I suggest avoiding marcos, The pizza is simply not worth eating.

Uses a lot of different cheeses. I am not a big fan of mulitply cheese pizzas. As others have said greasy pizza. Price is high for the size you get. Another franchise that I have no interest in. The employees aren’t very friendly. Look stressed out.
They offer small pizzas, they have a XXL that is 16 inches, really that’s your XXL?

Was recommended by a colleague since I’m from out of town. Didn’t try the pizza — had a sub sandwich instead. Wasn’t hungry when I got there, but the appetizing pictures of food on their walls got my through my sub in minutes.
Was good — nothing to write home about, but for my Unilocal friends and fans I digress.
The lone staff member there wasn’t around much. Filled my cup twice. Thanked the air and left.

Living in the Alafaya Woods neighborhood, we have had no fewer than 6 new pizza places open within a 1 mile radius of us in the last six months. It was my mission to visit each of them to figure out if any of these new pizza places were really up to snuff.
We ran into the crew from Marco’s Pizza at the Taste of Oviedo in the spring where they were handing out coupons for the grand opening in May. Shortly after they opened we took advantage of our Large 2 topping pizza coupon for $ 9.99 and had a traditional style pizza with ham and pineapple. Just to be clear, this is not a gourmet pizza place, they are more like a Dominos or Pizza Hut. However, I would put Marco’s Pizza up against either of those national chains when it comes to value and quality. We use to order Dominos (which was nearby) for any major sporting event or night we didn’t want to cook, but that has changed since Marco’s entered the area. The crust seems to be key because it has a better flavor than most of the most produce pies we are use to getting. They offer a variety of the standard toppings, but they also have some other items such as a special type of Italian pepperoni which is very good. The biggest difference is the price. Marco’s is always running specials or having coupons online (sign up for the email club) and newspaper. I found when compared to Dominos or Pizza Hut, the price for a large is anywhere between $ 2 and $ 3 cheaper at Marco’s and in this economy, ever dollar counts.
After doing a little research I found out that Marco’s is a chain in the Southeast, for the most part, and this is the first Orlando area location. I am hopeful that Marco’s is able to find a slice of the Orlando pizza market because they make pie that I enjoy eating!
