The pizza is ok, but you can see through the cardboard box because it is permeated with so much grease. Pizza is heavy, but also leaves you feeling heavy. Like the sauce and the ingredients, but this one feels like a little(or not so little) slice of heart attack.

Very good pizza. A bit expensive but its not cheaply made. I would say a pan crust could feed four people.

I had a great Rosati’s experience. I was stuck in traffic, coming home from work, when I called in. I’m new, so I didn’t know what to order. I didn’t even look through their menu, but the guy on the other end of the phone walked me through some options. He was great to answer my questions and offer suggestions. I think that’s important. The pizza was really good. I got the smallest size and it still left me with extra for the next day. And the next day.

The Chicago style deep dish pizza is by far the best pizza I have ever had! One slice is a meal in itself. I’ve been eating here for years, and it’s always good. Service has always been spot on, the food is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get.

Absolutely awesome Chicago style pizza! We were visiting Kansas City to go to the Chicago Bears-Kansas City Chiefs game this weekend and decided to try out Rosati’s after the game. Both the thin crust and the Chicago Style deep dish were the absolute best I have had outside of Chicago. I especially enjoyed the thin crust as it was made just how I like it from Chicago. Good amount of sauce, large amount of toppings on top of that and then a great amount of cheese on top of all of it. Melted to perfection. Was an absolute treat to get some amazing Chicago style pizza in another city. Will be back again when I visit the Kansas City area!

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! I ordered over the phone and they confirmed my order back correctly. When I arrived to pick it up and pay for the order they told me an amount that was for a single pasta serving rather than the family sized pasta I had ordered. I told them that wasn’t the amount I was given over the phone and that it was the family sized pasta that I ordered. They said someone must have entered it in wrong and that I could have the single size one or wait 30 – 40 minutes for a family size one. I have a family with a baby at home and neither of those are viable options. They were not very apologetic and didn’t attempt to do anything else to rectify their mistake. After driving 15 minutes to get there I left very unhappy and without any dinner to bring home to my family.

Great deep dish! But it’s not a sit down place. Everything is to go.

Visited tonight for the first time. Boyfriend is a long time New Yorker who’s used to New York pizza. I’ve been to Chicago and had deep dish there and loved it, for me this was a pleasant trip down memory lane. For him, it was a first experience and although he is a die hard New York pizza fan, even he had to admit it was good. We got a large monster deep dish to share. We couldn’t eat more then one piece. Slices are huge and filling. The sausage was so yummy on it, spiced perfectly. Also ours had huge cuts of bacon on it which I don’t think it was supposed to but it was a nice little treat. I really enjoyed this pizza, and wish they’d make another location a little closer(about a 15 minute drive from me.) but I’m sure It still won’t be too hard to convince my New Yorker boyfriend to return another time. Give this place a try! It’s awesome.

Hands down our favorite Italian restaurant. We moved into the delivery area, and within one two months we had earned enough points for«free food». The rewards were great, about $ 30 bucks off our order. The pizza takes a while because of the thickness. Worth the wait!(husband and kiddos devour it) I am lactose intolerant so I get the speg. and meatballs or Italian sausage. Absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant. 5 stars all the way

I can’t believe how good this pie is. I’m from out of town and wanted something non corporate. I got the specialty thin crust and just wow. Nothing else to say. Loaded with toppings. 10⁄10. Wish I had one of these places back home, would order it all the time.

Love the food. Delivery takes a bit longer(about an hour) but it’s well worth the wait! Delicious pasta dishes and hot sandwiches. Their meat sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Portions are huge and don’t cost a fortune. I can eat an order of chicken parm for 2 days. I cannot speak for the pizza as I have not tried it yet but if it’s anything like their other entrées I bet it’s great. Online ordering is available and worked well when I used it you can only use credit or PayPal though no cash option.

This pizza is absolutely amazing. I felt like I was in Chicago eating a deep dish. I ordered a small and was only able to eat 2 slices. OMG! You must try this place.

Chicago deep dish. My first, so I can’t testify to it’s authenticity, but I liked it! This is a knife and fork affair, I can’t imagine trying to pick up a slice it’s so filled with toppings. Sadly, the edge crust were too hard to eat. We ordered online and were instructed to arrive for pick up between 30 to 40 minutes later. We arrived at the 35 minute mark and were made to wait another 25 minutes as our pizza wasn’t ready yet. That seemed excessively long to me. Please update your webpage so people know what they are getting into when they place that order!

We are new to town and I discovered this place off Unilocal. It definitely lived up to its good reviews. We got the mets classic Chicago deep dish. It was the closest thing to a Chicago pie you’d could ask for in KC. Delicious!

In Overland Park on business and Rosati’s Pizza was in walking distance and with good reviews. My first impression is «oh…strip mall meal.» My second impression is «uhm…no place to eat.» My third impression is «service could be a little more friendly.» The man at the counter suggested a slice of pizza which were still fresh(I was thinking either the sandwich or pizza). I ordered two slices(meat and combo) and a coke for under $ 10. I have to say the slices were big, heavy and good! I ate my first slice outside, and yes the crust was a little on the moist side. However, this is because of the generous amount of sauce.(I hate it when you have to order extra sauce on a pizza. I mean it’s just tomato paste and spices…). The meat, sauce and cheese were all tasty and generous. I tried to eat as much of the combo pizza when I hit my hotel room. Nice favors in the classic sense(green olives, mushrooms and peppers). Makes me wonder if you could order anchovies. I could only finish half of the second slice. I would recommend Rosati’s when you’re in the mood for pizza. It would be better if they had a small restaurant — I think they could support one.

5÷7÷20145pm — I am writing this review after our 17th visit in the last 14 months(since We moved to the Kansas City area). By far this is the best thin crust pizza we have tried in the Kansas City area to date. We grew up with Rosati’s in Chicago then moved to Memphis for work. After 17 years of bad pizza in Memphis coming to Kansas City and seeing Rosati’s was a welcome sight. We used to drive to the northland at North Oak Trafficway and hwy 152 from the farthest south point in Lees Summit until it closed. We now drive from there to this one to. Not only do we drive all that way but we have to eat in the car if we want a fresh hot pizza. I do have to point out though the last three visits here we have seen the crust change a bit. They are not spreading out the ingredients across the entire pizza. The edges get overcooked and burnt. Today only one pizza was like that. Overall I still must give them five stars. Heck, this one has better pizza than the one in West Dundee Illinois outside of Chicago!

The bombdiggity pizza!!! I can’t say much more than that… I had delivery and everyone was blown away by what we ate. The toppings were very generous and the crust was spot(flipping) on. This is just plain and simply, pizza done right. One of the pizzas was a meat lovers style and it had the largest pieces of meat that I have ever seen on a pizza. Strongly recommended

So I have been dying to find an authentic Chicago style pizzarea in Kansas City since I moved here in 2006. There of course is The Dish up in Liberty, MO(like an hour drive for me) and there was Victors in Lenexa(a 5 min drive for me, but it sucked and it’s closed). Well somehow I missed this wonderful place called Rosati’s. Sweet Jesus I’ve found my pizza heaven. Chicago style deep dish/stuffed pizza is my favorite. Ever since trying Giordannos(in Chicago), I’ve fallen in love with this type. Well Rosati’s certainly delivers(though not way out to my house in Lenexa hehe). The pizza was exactly what I expected. I ordered a stuffed Italian Beef and when I opened my pizza box, there it was, a delishous, several inch thick pie, with the tomato sauce right there on top, like a Chicago pie should be. This place is a carry-out/delivery only, so don’t plan on going there with the family and sitting. The pizza is more expensive than the large national franchises, but then again, you don’t go to McDonald’s for a fine steak either. The lobby was very clean and decorated in a cool manner. Once you buy 12 pies you get 50% off of your next pizza. Also it’s Front Flip friendly(I won 10% off of my order). I can’t wait to return!
