Went to have lunch with my son. Walked in was greeted as we walked in. Adriana our waitress was very polite and made sure we were ordering what we wanted. The order was hot. Food was good. When we left the manager and Adriana told us have a good day. Will return another day.

I was pleasantly surprised with Hooters. The service was quick, attentive but not overly so, and the shrimp and wings were better than expected. I would try this Hooters again.

What a nice new server there… Ailene, the Asian Barbie…
And the food was real good too!

Great service (at the bar)… Attentive staff… Clean… & Hot food. It’s a winner in my book. Ciera (bartender) was awesome! Quick… Attentive and seems to know her job inside out. TVs are al over the place and there really isnt a bad spot in the bar.
If you go. Dine at the bar and seek for Ciera. She is on point!

Looking for late nite food in KC — this town shuts down early. Found Hooters across from the hotel, had not been to one in years. Service was top notch — greeter and wait staff was friendly and fast — never had to wait for beer or food. Fried pickles — HUGE plate of them. Boneless wing Wednesday — can’t go wrong their either. Food was fast, hot, and taste ok. Fine dining it is not, but for fast food in a friendly atmosphere where they care about pleasing the customer– this Hooters nailed it.

Went there tonight to have a good time. Didn’t eat any of the food. Waitress was so busy she didn’t have time to take care of my table. Pissed me off to the point I did not eat any of the food that I had to pay for. Worst part of it is that my boyfriend couldn’t do anything to make me happy. Now I am hungry in bed and this place is super sexist. Don’t go there if your Gay. They only take care is Straight people

Gross. The wings are overpriced, and the Hooters aren’t really hooters. Boring, and it makes you feel sad in there. I went once or twice when I was younger. I will never step foot in another hooters. Foods not even that good really. No allure whatsoever.

Staff doesn’t seem they have the ability to satisfy a decent crowd or maybe it was just our sever. Regardless, drinks and food took forever to get to our table and the place was only half full. Would have gave a 1 star but the bacon wrapped wings were actually really good.

This location had a much needed makeover in the past year, but it is still a waste of space. The menu is horrifying … fried, fried and more fried animal products. The servers are not up to Tilted Kilt standards; I can only imagine they are sad and depressed to be here based on their expressions and lack of enthusiasm. There is usually an interesting mix of customers … tonight we see a female octogenarian and also toddlers, as well as the usual drunken cavemen. Good eye candy for men and women alike … but overall Hooters is a sad reflection of what’s wrong with America.

The wait staff is absolutely terrible
The manager Walter could careless about the customers. He’s all about up charging.
An example — Hooters gives a small 1 – 2 oz cup for an order of 10 – 20 wings. For each additional 2 oz cup it is $ 1.50.
We asked for more wet napkins and Walter said only 2 per table.
His employees think it’s a joke. I’ve heard a couple say that if they managed the restaurant everything would be done completely opposite of they Walter runs it.
I’m pretty positive Hooters corp is unaware.

So after our last review being so bad due to the waitress, I spoke personally with the manager and decided to give it another shot. Walter (the manager) made everything amazing. We got the best waitress Alissa and had awesome wings without a single hick up. I would recommend this hooters repeatedly due to Walter and Alissa making this visit what it’s supposed to be. Walter remembered us from our last bad experience and even knew where we sat and our waitress. This manager is truly oriented for customer service. Here’s to hoping they both read this review. Thank you so much.
Back again on a Wednesday! Alissa is too awesome as a waitress!!! Definitely ask for her!

Just dined At Hooters, had terrible service by Vanessa. She took our order, and we never saw her again. We waited over 20 minutes for a check that we asked for, then she proceeded with an excuse of why we didn’t get it yet. She left the table and was back with the ticket in less than 1 minute. The 10% I left you, you didn’t deserve. Good luck Hooters! She’s not doing it for you!

HOT WINGS! I am a «the hotter the better» person! So when I was here I tried their two «5 star» heat boneless wing options. Wonderful! I could still do hotter, (there were’t any) but they were right on the edge.
They also have some great appetizers, including fried pickles.
I will be back!

My wife and I eat here almost weekly. When we first started dating, I took her once, and she would never go back for a long time, she thought I was there for something other than the wings! She does know better now. We go on Wednesdays, so she can get the sale on boneless Daytona. She has convinced me on the boneless now, as I am a breast man anyway. Most of the waitresses know us, and the managers make a point to say hello, maybe because my wife orders about 100 take-​out boneless a week. There are some bad days, but these are usually with the bone-​in, sometimes they are under-​cooked, just send them back, stuff happens, as they say. The rest of the menu is good also, but I am diabetic and can have all the wings I want, they don’t bother my blood sugar, as long as I stay with mild, medium, or hot.

I came here because of the bottomless boneless wings on Wednesday night, and the Royals game was on TV. Generally, the rule of thumb for corporate restaurant concepts is that you want to sit at the bar if you want the best service the place has to offer. The reason I believe this is because people get hired on as a bartender only if they have years of qualified experience, and only the best servers get promoted to bartender. If that theory holds true for this Hooters location, then I will say a prayer and shed a tear for the unlucky victims who come here and get table service.
The 2 bartenders on duty were horribly unattentive. I wish I could drop names in this review, but the bar ticket said the bartender’s name was Arrrrr-​Jelly. WTF is that? Of course neither one of them told us their name. After taking our drink order, the bartender made service bar drinks first and then left the bar area; leaving us sitting there with no drink and no menus for well over 5 minutes. We had to borrow a (one) menu from the guy next to us and share it. The service was slow, one of the bartenders was complaining that it was a slow night, and our empty drink glasses sat far too long as the bartenders walked by repeatedly without noticing we needed drink refills. I manage a bar for a living and tipped 10%…that’s how bad the service sucked.
On the bright side, the manager on duty had a great eye for detail, went out of his way to make sure the front of house employees quit piling the dirty bar glasses in front of where we were sitting. The food quality was actually decent on this visit. The kitchen staff made the terrible service tolerable.
Would we go back? Probably not. I think it’s time we realize that Hooter’s in KC is missing the mark from it’s heyday.

Delicious food! I gave four star because the service was slower than usual due to their short staff. Overall, I liked like environment, ambiance, music, and seatings!

I’d like to begin by saying that the food at Hooters does not get the credit that it deserves. All of the chicken is raw; and breaded and cooked to order: which many people do not know. I’ve eaten at Hooters quite a lot in Missouri and can honestly say that I’ve never really been disappointed. The servers obviously have a very specific role to play, and since I showed up there with a woman, and I am an attractive man, we didn’t exactly get the greatest service; which in my eyes is forgivable. Placating the dopey looking men who frequent Hooters specifically for the attention from cute young girls requires much more attention than say, a professional looking couple who are clearly low maintenance guests. Either way, I ordered a chicken salad with their spiciest sauce, and it was very flavorful. The greens and cheeses which they use in the salads really are high quality. If you are looking for something satisfying after hours, you should think about giving Hooters a shot if you aren’t familiar with what they have to offer.

I am no longer ashamed to say it: I like Hooters.
This is the almost the only Hooters I’ve been too. There was a visit a few years ago out by Legends in KCK, which scared me from going again. But I was convinced to give it another try, here in OP, and I must say: I was granted a pleasant surprise! My husband and I are on our way to becoming regulars.
The service at the bar, where we usually perch, is always friendly, and usually prompt. Cocktail prices are a bit high, so we opt for beer, which is much more reasonable. The burgers are a safe bet — I love the cowboy, with onion tanglers and bbq sauce on Texas toast. Shockingly, the fish options have all proven tasty as well! The grilled fish tacos, big fish sandwich (also grilled) are both great. And upgrading my fries to crispy, thin onion tanglers is a no-​brainer for only 99-​cents. I’m not a wing fan, but my sister says the Daytona style wings (naked style) were pretty good too, with just enough *kick*.
Okay, okay — And the girls are pretty, which doesn’t hurt ;)

I don’t know what people complain about but this Hooters seems to be just great to me!

She’s attentive and social! What better waitress can you get? Oh wait, there is, a good looking one… and Kelsey is just that!
Food is great! Burgers tasted the way they were suppose to, though my cousin’s Chicken burger was a bit oily, but it was still delicious!
Prices are fair I think, well maybe slightly pricier than I’d prefer, but i’m ok with it.
$ 44 for 2 jack and cokes + 2 burger meals. Is that about right?
I’m just a visitor and don’t come to these restaurants much, so I’m not sure.

Day Bar tender is extremely friendly and talkative. All in All I don’t frequent places like hooters or any sports bars for that matter. I appreciate the eye candy and greasy food but not the creepers sitting around me. I almost want to apologize to the beautiful women there for all the weird-​Os they have to put up with. I only hope they make good tips and exploit the men more than themselves.

This was, by far, my worst Hooters experience across 10 states and almost 20 years.
It is in a strip mall but is still very large and well appointed on the inside. There was not a hostess at this location. Only a slightly surly waitress that seemed annoyed we decided to dine here… Should have taken the hint…
Once seated, I ordered a sweet tea. when e server returned over 5 minutes later, she brought water and literally sprinted off to go talk to the other servers at the front. Ii gave up on tea.
She finally returned to tale our order about another 5 minutes later. (keep in mind there were over 8 servers and only 21 customers in the store) i ordered AYCE wings (awesome Monday deal for $ 11, usually anyway.) with Blue cheese. I was then met with …“do you want ranch or blue cheese” in a very slothful, I am not listening way. Very dismissive.
When the meal finally came, remember that blue cheese, it became ranch! What annoying wit here is this! Again, she ran off without a word and ignored me saying… Excuse me… ma’am…waitress… We finally got her attention and she exchanged my dressing… but was annoyed…
I was eating the hottest wings offered and she did not return or acknowledge us for over 15minutes for drink refills. I was ready for a refill on wings after finally getting water and waited another 15 minutes to get the order. Guess what, more magical ranch ca, r in the place of my blue cheese… Again, I need a lasso to get her to listen and get it exchanged. Never came back till she dropped the check. I gave up on water and more wings.
I wish I had checked my fellow Unilocaler’s reviews before going in to this spot. We will not be back. What a waste…

I ordered a water and it took 15 minutes to get it. No joke. Everyone with an alcoholic drink got it in seconds. But me? Nope. Flagged down three waitresses to order a water off of them. And I never got a refill. Awesome.
Don’t come here during March Madness unless you are ordering some broski brews and drinks.
The 911 sauce is weaksauce and that is the strongest they have. They need some Pluckers fire in the hole up in here.
Will not return. Was forced here. I suggested another trip to Taco Bell but was overruled. Fail.

In the early days of my business, when I wasn’t out of the office until 10pm or so, my friend Brian and I were frequent fliers down here. What healthy young guy doesn’t enjoy hot wings in the company of good looking women who just want to wait on you?
Hooters also doesn’t usually charge for pay-​per-​view events so it’s a good place to watch UFC or other fight nights.
