I brought in my favorite old canvas briefcase that was nearing the end of its useful life. Thanks to her, I’ll get to use it for another decade. I’ve also had her fix clothes, alter clothes, replace shoe heels and soles and regularly have her shine my shoes. Great work. Does all the work herself. I go out of my way to take all garment and shoe work to her.

Just when you think there’s no hope for the shoes that you love —take them to happy feet. This lady is amazing! Yes she might be very blunt and telling you that«I cannot fix them.» Everything this lady does though is amazing — just go there. You won’t regret it. Very reasonable price — and she does her work in the time she says she will.

This has always been a go-to place for shoe repair for me. Last week, I took in six pairs of heels to have the re-capped and repaired. Some of them were in pretty bad shape. When I got there at 5:35 tonight to pick them up, the owner noticed me before she had left the parking lot, so she came back and unlocked the closed store so I could pick them up. Really appreciate that kind of customer service!

My only experience has been with shoe repair, not alterations. The lady looked at my boots and said it wasn’t worth it to repair them. She said she would charge me $ 50 to replace a zipper and that I may as well go buy another pair of boots. I didn’t bother informing her that the boots are worth a lot more than $ 50, because her attitude was very negative. I took them elsewhere and got it fixed for less than $ 50!

I have been going to Song at Happy Feet since January of 1999 when she repaired a pair of tap shoes. Then I brought her some skirts, jeans, an antique quilt, sheets, a leather purse, and a gig bag for a guitar. She has never told me she can’t repair something and has always been honest about when it’s time to throw the favorite jeans away ’cause I’ll be wearing her patches and threads if I don’t. She can hem, tailor, and repair. I see more men going in and out of her shop than women and she’s never too busy to pass the time with her customers. Say hello to Milly when you visit.
