I have been wearing eyelash extensions for over 3 years and never have I seen such a horrible unprofessional job. I was traveling thru the area and needed a quick little fill. First off the business was very unprofessional and messy when I had to lay on a egg crate foam table cover with dr office paper. That was my first sign I should’ve ran but I thought id give Patricia the benefit of the doubt. I will add she was nice but my lashes were terrible and she ruined the ones I did have. They were all clumped together like a strip lash, which wasn’t what I was going for. They were all twisted and mangled when I left. After my appointment going way over and having to catch a flight I had no time to go back and have her fix as that seemed even scarier. She used so much glue my eyes burned the entire day. They were so «matted» from glue I couldn’t even get my mascar brush thru them to untangle. She claims to be certified and doing it for years and has taught many in the area that’s just seems to be nightmare. Needless to say I had to then go to another salon to have them removed and another full set applied which was quite the bill so if your looking for a good set of lashes or even just a fill run from this place. She has no clue what she’s doing! Nor does she carry any quality lashes as they were not the same quality of what I’ve ever had so thin and fragile. And the one positive review she has on lashes comes from herself!

Ok so let me preface this by saying that I purchased and redeemed a Groupon in the fall of 2012, but the experience still sticks with me. This was also my first Brazilian so that probably had an impact as well.
The suite was down in a basement and it didn’t feel clean to me (I’ve actually referred to it as my back alley Brazilian before). She also didn’t wear gloves during the procedure and was using hard wax which hurt like hell. I’ve had my legs waxed and have always done my eyebrows. The process also took a long time waiting for the wax to harden. And at one point I told her I thought I was going to have to stop, but she gave me a minute then continued.
After it was all done the results were as expected, hairless. But it scared me away from the process for several months. After a while I decided to give another place a try before leaving for a Mexican beach vacation. I tried Groupon again and ended up at Grace Designs & Esthetics in Overland Park. I was in and out in 10 minutes with minimal pain and she didn’t use the hard wax so I’ve continued to visit Grace now that I know that the experience isn’t always excruciating.

Bought a Groupong for a Brazillian wax. When I got there, the door to her suite was locked. 20 minutes after the appointment, another customer came to tell me she was in a different office and would be down soon.
Almost an hour late before we got started. It was my first time and she didn’t make me feel comfortable for the process. She was a bit abrupt. But, I can’t fault the final product. It was a good wax job.

Great experience!
I use Patricia for lash extensions, and have also had a lash perm/​dye. She is great. Friendly, professionable, flexible with her schedule, and gave me the most natural looking «fake» lashes of anyone I’ve ever used. I don’t see myself going anywhere else.

I also purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian Wax and couldn’t be happier with the results and with Patricia. She’s candid yet still makes you feel comfortable and she’s been waxing since the 1980’s! She is very experienced and knows her stuff. I was in and out within 20 minutes or so and it really was a lot less painful than other Brazilians I had gotten at other places. I would definitely recommend her to anyone getting a Brazilian!
The space is small because of the remodeling going on and her suite was tough to find at first but I will definitely be going back. Well worth the trip. There is also a discount if you get another Brazilian when you come back within a month.

Bought a Groupon here for a Brazilian wax and I must say, this may have been the best waxing results I have ever had! Seriously no stray hairs at all because of the great job that Patricia (the owner) did! It was a little off putting when I got there because Diva Lashes is undergoing a renovation, so we were in this tiny room and all outside they were under construction and a worker kept knocking on the door in the middle of the appointment. I know it was out of Patricia’s control, but I don’t think you should have customers coming in while there are workers outside painting the room and banging on the doors. But back to the wax… this was the cleanest wax I have ever gotten! Patricia is skilled at what she does and used both hard and soft wax. She even used these magnifying glasses to pluck out all those stray hairs! I would definitely come back to see Patricia, but it’s almost 30 minutes from where I live, so it’s not super convenient. She is skilled at what she does and I can’t wait to see what her remodeled store looks like now too!
Pros:
— great Brazilian! Relatively painless and NO STRAY HAIRS!!!
— Patricia is very professional and helped keep me distracted from the task at hand
— she offers a ton of other services as well other than waxing, like hair styling, hair cuts, makeup, eye lash extensions, etc.
Cons:
— Far from where I live so that’s annoying
— I didn’t like how we were in this tiny little room and their were construction workers outside painting and banging on the walls during my appointment
Why I gave it a 4:
This was the best result that I have ever gotten for a Brazilian, but it is just too far for me to drive to all the time. Patricia is awesome and she is great at what she does! Very professional and personable and the Brazilian was done in like 40 minutes (but 20 minutes was spent on talking). If there was another Groupon, then I think I could definitely make another trip our there for a $ 25 Brazilian wax!
