Just read Brandon M’s review of the Fair. I’m a superintendent for the Fair and it’s been great to see the progress of the kids each year as they get better and better at their projects. However, the entries have been dropping off. Parents! Get your kids into 4H! Not just animals but Photography, Bicycles and Sewing. It’s a great way to give your kids something to do over the summer.

My Daughter has been in 4-H for two years now, Every year we practice and get creative projects ready for the annual Lasalle county 4-H fair. The fair is much more than just an agricultural, event they offer many categories such as photography visual arts sewing & textiles and much more. Every evening the fair hosts a different event from rodeos, to truck and tractor pulls to demolition derby’s, that not even mentioning the fair food! If you have the opportunity to check out this 4-H or any other I highly recommended it there is a little bit of something here for everybody.
