We loved hanging out at the Pinesbridge Nursery! It was funny because it began pouring when we got there so I mostly took refuge under one of the covered areas (Santa’s Workshop, actually :)) At first I was concerned the downpour might lessen how much we’d be shown but Nancy didn’t mind walking around in the rain and spent a lot of time helping us hone in on the best options. She took my wife all around to the plants and flowers that she felt would work for us and was EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They have a large variety of stock and enough of the same kind to choose the right one, and everything looked beautiful. Just looking around I knew we’d find what we needed here.
No credit cards (or was it just the one I showed?) so I drove down into town where there is an ATM, which only took 15 minutes, but you should come prepared for that.
Will definitely make the trip from Brooklyn again.

Nancy was very friendly and helpful. I stopped in looking for a Japanese maple to match several I already have. She walked me around to show me all of the ones that she had. None matched what I was looking for, but she then spent lots of time showing my and my two little daughters all of the other plants she had available. I ended up buying some very nice flowers that look great in the yard.

Loved them! Open late. Great family run nursery. Nancy was extremely helpful and patient. She took the time to help us find what we needed and had lots of great suggestions given our difficult requirements. We’ll drive back from Manhattan again. Thanks Nancy!
