E-Sensual Dance

This is the biggest waste of time and money. I am so thoroughly disappointed with Ro (the instructor) and E-​Sensual dance that I created a Unilocal profile specifically to share the bad news. This place currently has two reviews that are «not recommended». One, a one-​star review, is a very apt analysis of the establishment from an insightful Unilocaler. The other, a five-​star review, although signed by a woman named Jackie, WAS CLEARLY WRITTEN FROM THE PROFILE OF THE INSTRUCTOR, Rosemarie, «Ro», M. Needless to say, she gave herself a glowing review.
The truth about this place, is that class begins late every time. Without fail. The other thing to consider is that there needs to be a total of three people in class in order for Ro to stay open. What that means is; 4 people sign up for class. You drive all the way over there. No one else shows up to class nor had the decency to cancel. Ro does not stay open just for the likes of you. You drive all the way home. Gas, money, and time wasted, you eat twinkies and go to bed disappointed.
Let’s say class miraculously stays open, albeit starting late. No attention is given to technique, which, as you can imagine, can lead to injury when swinging from a pole. Typically Ro will show you a move and you kinda wing it. I didn’t realize how little attention was given to technique until I started going to Pole Position in White Plains, who DO consider safety when teaching a class. Although I enjoyed myself at Pole Position, I did leave frightened by how incorrectly I had been doing things under Ro’s lack of detailed instruction at E-​Sensual Dance.
Though I could go on, I will leave with only one further complaint. Do not get sick. Classes are purchased in «packages» of five or ten or whatever. And they expire if not used in a certain time frame. If you are sick and your classes expire, you lose your money. If you buy classes and then INJURE YOURSELF IN THE CLASS AND CAN NO LONGER ATTEND DUE TO SAID INJURY, you will not be granted a refund. Even if you have a totally unused pack of classes. This is because Ro not only has no consideration for your time (since she is always late), she also has no problem grubbing your money.
