Pro’s and super-​nice from start to finish! Rapid response to my initial inquiry by email with an estimate that beat by far the one other company I’d looked into; honored my request of emails only communication; offered to schedule outside of their regular hours if necessary to accommodate my schedule.
They arrived on time; set up and worked quickly; after a while let me know they’d be working a little longer than scheduled to take care of some problem areas on the sofa/​big chair/​rug they were cleaning. I was doing my own work in the next room and could hear them from time to time discussing «let’s work on this bit some more» etc. Clearly they were there to get the job right, really right. And upon leaving when the job was done and the upholstery still needed to air-​dry a bit more, they expressed friendly regret that they never get to see «how great everything looks when it’s absolutely dry” – love that! They let me know they would be in touch to check in to make sure I was completely satisfied, which they were, the next day.
Price was exactly the same as the estimate they had sent me – $ 268 to clean 7 foot sofa, big chair, and 4×6 rug – and then they also let me know that they’d be giving me the discount they were offering this month, $ 15 off the job. OK, that was nice. Then I heard from them by email offering an apology that the special I should have gotten was 15% rather than $ 15 off and so they were mailing me a check for the $ 9-​and-​change extra that I should’ve gotten off immediately, and I received that in the mail in 2 days. So it came to under to $ 240 to make my living room great! Mind you, I hadn’t known about any special, and they had no reason in particular to address this at all except that they are folks with integrity and who aim to please.
Have I made clear at this point that I recommend them without reserve? :) I write a Unilocal review here and there, but not too many. However, I so appreciate being in the hands of competent pro’s who really aim to do a good job (an increasingly rare commodity these days) that I’m giddy enough to prattle on at length. There’s a good reason they’ve been in business for 20+ years!
