Excellent for what it is, and that is a small convenient diner with wonderful décor:) Large menu, which makes it hard to decide– but both our sandwiches were great, and the fries… My favorite kind! Crispy and not over cooked. Service was awesome, although we were the only table… Lol. But super fast with both attentiveness and food… We were able to get back on with the road trip without the typical extensive break of a sit down experience :)

Moe’s has a modern take on the vintage diner vibe. I guess it’s cute but not too over the top. The menu was fairly large, with sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, entrees and breakfast items, all with pretty reasonable prices. We took seats at the counter, and I ordered their Sloopy Moe, which I expected to be similar to a sloppy joe, but in fact it was much more like a maid rite loose meat sandwich, if you’re familiar with those. Tasty! I had the creamed corn as my side, which was really hot even after I finished my sandwich. I finished about half of it and it was OK. The meal also came with a small cole slaw. Service was fine and the dining area was well kept. I would stop again if I was passing though and needed a bite.

Cold food, tough pancakes(a diner like this should be able to make good pancakes) the last time I stopped here the food was MUCH better. Too bad. The place is cute.

Stopped for breakfast and it wasn’t bad. For the price, it should be lots better. Easy on and off from I94. The building is really cute with charming décor. Tony, our server, was terrific. We were seated and served very efficiently. The food was good but unremarkable. Portion size wad average. Plastic plates and generic condiments were a turnoff. Overall it was fine, but spending $ 25 for breakfast for two should get you something less mediocre.

Cute little diner and clean. The service was very slow. We ordered cheesy potatoes(which are just like BK cheesy tots only pricier). They were hot. It took several minutes to get my ranch. The waitress had to request it from the kitchen ?? I ordered The Dagwood; which is basically a toasted club with fries, pickle, and cole slaw. It is a big sandwich and good. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The burger had no cheese. My husband was not happy at all, but doesn’t complain ! Out ticket total was $ 35.00 It took over 30 minutes for food up arrive, so husband has no plans to return. Also, heard rumblings in the background of the diner being out of several desserts and ice creams !

This place has a great location and does excellent marketing. It’s a place you see and you want to try! The food is pretty average however. Not bad… Just average. I had the Country Fried Steak. It came with mashed potatoes and a choice of veritable or cole slaw. The steak was a good portion, but I did not like that it came on a plate separate from the mashed potatoes.(Maybe it’s only me) I like to have a little potato and gravy with each bite of steak. The potatoes were a bit of a let down, they didn’t taste real. Must be made with a powder? Overall, I liked the place. Service was good and the décor was interesting. O

Worth a stop. The staff is attentive and the cooks are dedicated. A great little diner for any type of meal. Kitchy 50’s décor but it’s not overdone and gaudy. Great location off the highway. I’ll be back. You should give it a chance!

I have no idea how the food was. The service was non existent. No one acknowledged us when we walked in. When we just went and picked a spot, the kid came over and just asked if we needed a high chair. No hello, how are you, etc., no can I get you something to drink. After we got sick of waiting and decided to leave, he finally came over and asked if we were ready to order. We left and went to Dairy Queen across the parking lot instead.

«Almost Famous» But for what? It’s a small road side diner, standing outside it looks cool, walking in it looks even better. Your classic 50’s style diner. And that is where the good ends. food was pretty bland, I wasen’t sure what i wanted to eat so i got some pancakes as it’s usually a skill to screw those up, and sure enough they were dry and pretty small, i got the 3 pancakes and bacon, well i ordered the bacon but it never showed up. The 3 pancakes did nothing for filling me up, Luckily my fiancé had a chicken wrap that was pretty bland so i had a couple bites of that. The fries are pretty good, actually quite good,… and they give you alot of them which is a plus cause that is what i filled up on. Service was pretty slow and bad, some younger kid was the server. The cooks the night was there seemed to be a couple younger guys that were talking about who gets to go on a cigarette break next while i was waiting to pay. The other good thing is, the food was pretty cheap, about where you would expect a «higher end» fast food place to be priced.

What a cute little diner! Stopped in on the way home after a concert and grabbed a bite to eat. I got a kraut dog which came with fries, and I also ordered the cheese curds. The cheese curds were to die for, and I filled up on those and didn’t eat much of my hotdog. I took one bite of the hotdog and it was just okay — next time I’d try a burger or a wrap. The fries were also very good, and the side of coleslaw that came with it was also delicious. I’d definitely go back if I find myself in the area!

My favorite stop when I’m on i94 going between Madison and Minneapolis, which I drive at least twice a month. I stopped here several times now and it is my favorite place on the highway so far. Place is clean, service is fast an courteous, food is generally decent and sometimes really good. My favorites here are the burgers, never went wrong with those. Last time instead I ordered the fried steak and was less impressed. Steak was good and very nicely crispy, but gravy, mashed potatoes and creamed corn were all a bit bland. I think I will stick to burgers from now on and maybe try some of the sandwiches… Will definitely stop here again!

Service was a 3. Food was a 1. Fried cheese curds were good. Chili was ok but barley warm. Fried shrimp was not good nor worth $ 10.99. Mashed potatoes were bland. Fries were in the fryer too long. Brat was cold. I would probably try somewhere different when in the area next time.

I have to laugh at some of these reviews. Do people really expect a trendy, chi-chi, big city kind of diner off the interstate in rural Wisconsin? If so, those people should learn to manage their expectations. Moe’s is a cute, kitschy, small town greasy spoon. Great fried chicken, good burgers, crispy fries and onion rings, top notch shakes and malteds. I haven’t had breakfast there, because I’ve never driven by at a breakfast time of day. But I love the creamed chicken and biscuits(just had that again today). It is perfect comfort food when you’ve been driving for awhile and have a ways to go. I’ve been to Moe’s a million times and will eat there again.

Quicker than a drive through and better! We were on our way through to Chicago and didn’t want fast food. We hit this place at the exact right time. When we walked in, there was only ONE other person in there; and she was eating. The server was training, so she had a shadow which was good since she tried to offer us stuff that didn’t come with our meals. We placed our orders and had our food in 5 minutes. I know because I checked my clock before and after. 10:08 to 10:13. I got the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit — I would have preferred an English Muffin, but it wasn’t an option and we were kind of in a hurry. My food came with breakfast potatoes, which were fried little treats that I loved. My food was hot and tasty and the DC bubbly and cold. It is about what I expected. My dining companion had your standard breakfast which he said was fine as well. Portions were not huge, which I actually prefer. I didn’t check out other items because quite honestly, I didn’t have the time. We are fast eaters, so we were in and out within 30 mins. I’d stop again for a quick breakfast.
