Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Although my experience at this location was sub-​par for some reason, the regional manager contacted me immediately after I spoke up. He went above and beyond to make the situation right, and I was quite impressed. I’ll be back.

Reserved an intermediate car. Upon picking up, they gave me a full size without asking me to agree for $ 10 per day more than my original rental rate. They didn’t tell me the total rental price and I missed the small number somewhere in the contract. Upon returning, I got a bill that showed $ 30 more than my original reservation. I contacted them and they promised to refund the $ 30. Never happened. So, a fair warning to everyone who wants to rent from this place: 1. Be careful if they offer you a larger car without telling you that you will be charged more, 2. Don’t trust them if they say they will refund something to you.

The boyfriend and I have rented a number of cars from this location, and overall it’s been fine. We’ve never had any problems with the cars — they’re always new, clean, and in good repair, and it’s nice to drive a new car with all the bells and whistles! They’ll also come pick you up, even when the boyfriend needed a ride pretty much instantly due to car trouble.
However, the problem with these neighborhood stations is the hours. We typically rent a car for the weekend, so ideally we’d pick it up Friday evening or Saturday morning, and return it sometime on Sunday. But they only open at 9am on Saturdays, so you can’t get an early start on a road trip, and they’re closed on Sundays, so you can’t return your car until Monday (no after-​hours return). So we end up paying for a 3-​day rental when we really only need the car for the day. Their rates are usually pretty decent, but it’s super annoying to have to deal with that kind of thing.
Hours aside though, this is a super handy service to have around, and we’ll definitely keep renting.
