This is a great little restaurant inside a historic bed and breakfast. My favorite is the Hawaiian salad, which is a pasta salad. Their muffins and beer bread are delicious as well. The gift shops are fun to browse.

I have heard about his restaurant for years and was really looking forward to eating there, unfortunately, I was really disappointed. The food was lacked originality and seemed like a menu from the 1980s rather than period turn of the century items that would fit the Victorian ambience. My daughter was served a sandwich on cheap store bread with a piece of American cheese. This place has a great deal of potential but needs to step things up a great deal.

This is one of my favorite stops through mid-​north Minnesota! The gift shop is full of cute things and pretty things and things you just don’t see every where. Perfect for anyone like me that thinks they are a fabulous decorator but knows it’s probably not true. I can always find a couple gifts for hard to find ladies in here, as well as something I simply must have. It’s a little pricey, but I’m usually only in town in the fall… right when they have their end of season sale!
