We prefer this place for our teryaki. Has more flavor, love the dressing they use on the salads. And the woman who I’ve always dealt with there is very friendly and customer service oriented.

Our favorite teriyaki food! The spicy chicken teriyaki, Chicken Yakisoba, Sesame chicken, and Chicken Katsu are SOGOOD! We love the side salads and the egg rolls are so good! It’s a must if you’re in the area and craving teriyaki.

Love the teriyaki! My husband always gets the spicy chicken and it’s just the right amount of spice for him.

The food is awesome, but they seem a little overpriced for what you get… I love their sauce and their salad dressing.

This is the best teriyaki joint in Orting/Puyallup area for sure. The spicy chicken teriyaki is really good and the service is always great. Only reason for 4 stars is that Covngton Teriyaki is the best I have ever had. But if you are in the area then WaWa is the way to go. WAY better than Modoo which is terrible.

I’m not sure why there aren’t more reviews for this place, but I wanted to review it because their food is very good. The place could use a little more sprucing up but generally fits in with the small town Orting theme. Everything I’ve had here is yummy, although the consistency could be a little better. Nonetheless, the owners are very nice, and they’re doing a great job! They took over about 2 years ago, and the quality has been tremendously better since then. When I went there before, the chicken had an odd taste and gave us an upset stomach(and not just once!). I’m so happy the owners have changed. Much better than Modoo!

Small portions for to go. I had maybe 10 pieces of chicken. And the sauce was not great at all. Very disappointed in comparison to other local teriyaki places. Will not be back. Ever. I gave 2 stars simply bc the salad dressing was ok.

I always feel the need to preface my reviews– this is a 4 star restaurant based on the comparable places to dine in the area. Personally, I prefer Wawa to Modoo #3(down by Safeway) and Herfy’s teriyaki food but I know that some of my friends like Modoo better. I usually get the yakisoba and gyoza side when I come here. As other reviewers have mentioned, the serving portions are good and the service is equally pleasant. I tend to like yakisoba that doesn’t use the thicker chow mein type noodles which some teriyaki places substitute. I also like the noodles to have been lightly pan seared so they’re no gelatinous. Wawa does both of those things and the chicken is never overcooked. If you’re near Orting or in Graham, this is probably the best teriyaki restaurant without heading down to South Hill or Puyallup valley.

This is a nice cozy place. Staff is friendly and the food not so bad but not to rave about it. I have had better, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there on a special trip but if you are in the area it’s perfect.

Absolutely amazing! I have lived in Orting for 12 years, an everyone that comes to visit from out of state always requests that I take them there again! And everywhere i have gone does not compare to Wawa, its just not the same! I would have to say that this is one of my abslote favs for teriyaki!

I’ve eaten here three times now — it’s decent but not great teriyaki — all the standards(short ribs, katsu, teriyaki, yakisoba, etc.) with some Chinese menu items as well. Portion size is very good — were the food better, I’d have had to take it home. Alas, it just isn’t that good. The katsu is always way over cooked and dry. The teriyaki is pretty average. The one time I tried the short ribs they were really really fatty — not that I expect them to be lean. But this was the sort of fatty that really isn’t too edible. Cozy interior with ample seating — and very nice staff(I believe she’s the owner — the only person I’ve ever seen here). Just average teriyaki — 2 stars.
