Fresh and substantial with unique choices like chorizo and siracha mayo. Clean and hip college-town feel.

Awesome healthy refreshing filling burritos, great service every time I go. Consistently I have been going to verve for about a year now, and the workers are always very kind and fast working. The ingredients are simple and good. Prices are quite reasonable as well.

The verve has good burritos — breakfast or dinner style. The burritos are large, inexpensive, and tasty. Verve is a great place to go when you just don’t fee like cooking and want leftovers for lunch the next day. The menu options are pretty standard for a burrito place, but a nice option is the variety of hot sauces they offer if you eat at the restaurant. Coffee and baked goods are worth getting, also.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great staff and service. Will be back next time we are in Bangor. Thanks for a great start to my day.

Stopped by for some breakfast burritos. El Presidente was presidential and very tasty. Even the basic breakfast burritos were tasty, if simple. Definitely would come back if in the area.

Okay food. Very hipster atmosphere. This definitely seems like the kind of place white college girls go to in clusters to have«Mexican» food and laugh loudly with their friends.

Fantastic everything. Do not think twice — just go in here :) The smoothies here are the freshest I have ever had and very delicious. Their burritos are fantastic and also very very fresh. This is the food we should eat almost daily, I think. And do not forget to try the coffee on the way out :)

I went to Verve for lunch on Sunday — prior to my daughter’s exploratory visit to U-Maine. Verve was recommended by the admissions counselor. It was a great experience. The food was fresh; healthy; and the long line to get food(on spring break week!) attested to the popularity. The food is primarily burritos, quesadillas, etc… yet think healthy fare geared toward a university target of healthy, active people.

Tried the Verve for the very first time yesterday evening, since there is no Chipotle in town(Bangor, ME). Was disappointed in the taste and the quantity of the food. The Habenero salsa seemed to be made out of canned tomatoes rather than fresh tomatoes. Also the extra guacamole served was not extra at all, hardly a teaspoon for a buck. We had to get an extra Burrito bowl just to be full. Everything is extra, even asking for salsa and veggies which ticked me off. We spent over 30 bucks for 2 adults and 1 kid and still did not come out happy. We will wait for Chipotle to open in town to get the better taste… Do have to say that the ambience inside the store was warm and inviting and had an upscale look, if only the food quality and quantity matched up.

Their burritos are extremely meh. If you are enough of a hipster you will eat them anyway.

Good burritos, nice clean atmosphere. They do breakfast burritos in the morning. Limited menu, but what they have is very good. Staff is always friendly. A very nice, non chain place, which is getting rare these days. I recommend it.

Visited Verve first thing in the morning for a breakfast burrito. Service was nice and speedy. The El Presidente burrito was delicious! Great locally-roasted coffee too. The Defender arcade machine was the cherry on top.

If hippies opened up a Chipotle-like restaurant, Verve would be the product. The burrito prices are quite reasonable and the selling point is ingredients that are on the healthy side(wheat tortillas, black beans, and whole grain brown rice). Overall, their lunch burritos are nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the tender steak, but I found the spicy chipotle salsa nowhere near my expectation of spicy. The cheese was bland and unmelted. The iced coffee was something I could pass on in the future. The hazelnut variety was reminiscent of a Keurig-quality brew, but with more artificial flavoring. Despite some shortfalls, I would return to try some of their amazing-sounding breakfast burritos. The yogurt smoothies also looked pretty good from what I saw.

I do the Orono Farmers Market on Sat. and always would get stuck picking up a burger on the way home. This place was recommended and it lived up to the hype. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to give recommendations which I like. I got the steak burrito, got it to go. It was nice to have something that was fast but not«fast food» and delicious! Thank you!

Great burritos. I have only been here for lunch, but I’ve heard great things about their breakfast burritos and hope to try one soon… maybe tomorrow. I usually get the burrito bowl to save some calories, but I like the fact that they do have two different sizes of a burrito. I have gotten the smaller one before and have been stuffed before I’ve finished it. My one complaint… no fresh jalapenos! I understand that they’re not always in season, but I was disappointed that they had what appeared to be jarred/canned jalapenos and not fresh. To be honest, I can’t name a restaurant I’ve been to recently that had fresh jalapenos but for some reason I just expected fresh from this place. I would definitely give this place a try if you’re in the mood for a burrito. It’s quick and fast and overall it has high quality ingredients(I’m sure, even jarred, the jalapenos are still of high quality)

Good wifi and a nice comfy chill spot with a small library to read from. Adaquate power outlets for those who need to geek out. coffe: good as most good places. Not amazing but I definitely would stop in often for a cup. Food: el presidente was good, I liked it. Cost: a cup of joe and burrito for just over six bucks. Im not complaining, especially being organic fare trade. Id recommend

A local brought me(an out of towner) here and I found it a lovely sunny environment for lunch. I wimped out and had a burrito salad, as to not feel totally stuffed all day. Big fan, tasty and fresh tasting ingredients. No complaints.

Let’s get things straight: This is not even in the same ball park in terms of burritos like QDoba or Chipotle. While I like supporting local business, if I wanted a burrito, I would go to one of the above mentioned chains. I felt the burritos here were a little small and the ingredients were not nearly as fresh or delicious as the other burrito chains.
