Terrific fish shop … fresh off the boats daily. These folk know their fish and serve with a smile. As an added benefit they have PB Boulangerie breads which are fantastic! I will stop just for the bread :)

Used to love this place until I learned all the cod had been fished, and whatever we got, well, who knows. My biggest reason for not going is I come from East Orleans where I live full time, and I detest the new round about which I have to drive to get to this place. I know many people who live here who refuse to go on that poorly conceived piece of rot.

Easily some of the freshest seafood I’ve ever tasted. Honestly can’t imagine better seafood — MAYBE as good, but definitely not better. My friends and I decided to save some cash by lighting up our grill instead of going to some expensive restaurant. Definitely one of the better decisions of the trip. We found this place thanks to the raving Unilocalers, and decided on one of the salmons(can’t remember which kind), a swordfish steak, and some scallops. All were fantastic — just so flavorful! Also, the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking to kick back at home, cook dinner, and watch a movie THIS is the place to buy yourself some tasty seafood. Staff is friendly and is always knowledgable on their selections. One member actually gave me step by step directions on how to cook the tuna steak and it turned out to be perfect. Definitely stop by here if you want to cook dinner or pick up already cooked lobster.(They do it all for you!)

Best and freshest seafood around. They know how to cook the larger lobsters so have them do it for you!(It’s free) The tuna is so fresh that it is sushi grade and we have tried our hand at homemade maki rolls and poke a few time! Nothing beats there swordfish, so fresh its still bleeding… They have everything you need for dinner so skip the big stores after the beach and just head here!

Good fresh local fish. That IS what they do. Next door is the best fish sandwich(flounder) on Cape Cod.

My go to fish market. Straight from the local fisherman. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. Smattering of beer/wine/condiments to get you what you need in one stop. Call ahead if you want them to steam lobsters for you and save yourself the hassle and smelly house! Parking can be difficult but you can always park behind and below via the TJ Maxx/Papa Gino’s large lot. Then come up via the stairs in between Sir Cricket’s and the Ice Cream/Bird Watcher’s shops.

The young lady behind the counter needs a day off and an attitude adjustment. We drive by multiple markets to specifically patronize you guys, and don’t deserve anything less than a smile and a Thank You.

So let me brag and say that I am a great amateur chef. I am also a grill master, gas and charcoal… SO when I buy my food for the grill I look carefully — I don’t want to ever serve mediocre meals. It’s one thing if I screw up with the seasonings or the marinade. It’s another if the fish is flavorless or dated. I used to go to Cap’n Elmers for all of my fresh fish when in Orleans. And this is for over 30 years. The fish was always good. The service was almost always cursory at best. But I kept going back. When Elmer’s closed this past year I had to find my way down 6A to Nauset Fish. Within 10 seconds of being waited on I kicked myself — all these years I spent at Elmer’s being treated with blasé attitude and here I was treated with courtesy and respect. And their product? Everything I bought from them: scallops, salmon, shrimp, swordfish, lobsters(they steamed and cracked them to perfection), and some yellow fin tuna, was very fresh and very tasty. Thanks to the raw material from Nauset Fish I made some exquisite better than any restaurant dishes. There’s no question: forget any other fishmonger. Forget Stop and Shop or Shaws. Forget every place for seafood: buy the best at Nauset Fish.

Never been to the fish market, but Sir Cricket has amazing chowder, fried clams and fish and chips. Everything is always fresh and delicious! The cost is so low for what you get, it may be the best bargin on the Cape!

Yesterday we bought a lb. of scallops which I cooked up and they were delicious, we also got some swordfish and tuna which my husband grilled, it was good. Bought a few crab cakes, heated them in the microwave as they were precooked, should have fried them instead a bit, all in all the fish and scallops were lovely and fresh but we thought expensive. Today we bought more scallops because I loved them! Would love some lobster but seems really expensive!

Well, if you love rudeness with your fish, this is the place for you! Also being overcharged(one of their specialities). We asked to have a pound and a half of scrod, which we were given, then charged for a higher priced fish. When we questioned this, we were treated like idiots for expecting them to honor the price posted. The fish isn’t anything special, but the attitude sure is there in spades!

This is absolutely the best fish market to go to in Orleans, and even the surrounding towns. Everything is always fresh, beautifully cut and clean. I love it. The fishmongers themselves are really helpful and efficient, and I believe a few of them to be the fishermen who supply the actual inventory. They always know what’s fresh, what’s best and exactly how much you’ll need. They have a great lobster pool and will even cook them for you in advance, if you like. They also sell condiments, chips and a small selection on wine and beers to complete the meal you’re about to make. Nice! Parking can be tricky as there are only a few spots our front that are shared with neighboring businesses, but you can find a place in the neighboring larger lot.

Some stellar fishmongers help supply the inventory at this clean seafood market. Lobster lobster lobster plus! Smashed in between the Lobster Claw and Sir Crickets Fish/Chips is this wonderful, albeit $$$, seafood market. As we had made the decision earlier in the day to hot tub, read, watch movies, play Settlers of Catan, and shop, came over here along the 6A and planned for an all out seafood fest. $ 10/lb for fresh, in-the-tank lobsters… we bought 2 totalling $ 60. The a full fresh filet of scrod, ahi tuna kabobs, half lb of prawns at $ 14/lb, and a whole 8″ clam pie… along with some homemade tartar and a med container of clam chowder base… Joined the queue and waited our turn for some super fresh maritime yummies – market sells all sorts of condiments… I.e. Cream for bisque, old bay spice, seasoning for any kind of seafood – even fresh, crusty bread and an alcohol case! Remember to freeze your lobsters for a bit before dunking them into the lobster pot to kill them humanely – they go into a comatose, slower state when cold.
