Sad to say this location is closed, we were super disappointed when we stopped here for lunch today to find a lockbox on the door :(

Well I love Greek food, but don’t get to have real Greek food often. I saw the sign for Zorbas last week and decided to try it out. When I entered at 5:45 pm there was one table of 2. No host and no wait staff. Finally a guy from outside came in and got the waitress from the back. The hummus was just ok… not much flavor. I ordered the chicken platter. The chicken was cooked a little dry, but the Tzitziki sauce was wonderful. The Greek salad dressing was very nice as well. The best thing I had was the cheese cake. Worth the stop just for that. By the time I left they had a total of 4 tables.

This review is ONLY for the gyro and the Greek coffee. The gyro is(on a scale from 1 – 10) I would give it a 6. The Greek dressing is very good. The Greek coffee was a first for me. The coffee grinds were still visible. I’m not sure if this is a standard for Greek coffee or not. This was my first for me. If it wasn’t for the coffee grinds I would give it a 10.

I’m not really sure how many stars to give. Being vegetarian I got really excited about finding a Greek place with great reviews. The place wasn’t too busy when we got there. Turns out they ran out of falafel! How is that possible? This is a Greek eatery so how do you actually run out of the only veggie sandwich option! Had high hopes but was disappointed. Obviously didn’t stick around to eat.

Good food but very bad drinks. We ordered some sangrías and they were basically juices. Services was okay.

We were looking for Chinese, but found this place! Friendly service and GREAT food. My husband finish his meal, mine & his sister’s! The only thing I can say, is it was a bit pricey. We were charged a dollar for requesting an additional pita for our appetizer when we were only given one to begin with. Great Greek food though!

You know, I tend to really not write reviews based on anything besides the food, but this place is kind of stupid. First of all, I had to call like 30 times to actually get put through to a human to make sure the place was legitimate. Then when I got there to place the to-go order, no employee was to be found. I walked in and out of the restaurant 3 times to try to get someone’s attention and it still didn’t work. I sat and waited for what seemed to be literally the only employee in the restaurant to come outside. Finally, I ordered the chicken gyro and asked for a side of their seasoned fries. I sat and waited for 20 minutes, they brought out the bag, I ASKEDIFTHEFRIESWEREINTHERE, she said yes, and I left. When I got back to work super eager to eat, I open my box, and guess what was NOT in my box? MYFRIES! I called them back to ask about them and they claimed to not have the fries on the ticket… Zorbas, your food was tasty, but get some brains please!

We liked it! Good customer service and nice place. Good food, but didn’t taste like fresh food. But, we will come back, yeah!

Amazing food! Excellent! The place is very calm, sadly we got there after the y dance show. The food we order it was cooked delicious and great priced. And the cherry on top, the Baklava Cheesecake! Omg loved it. Will be back again!

I felt weird walking in to this restaurant. My boyfriend and I went around 3 or so and the place had maybe one other couple that they had us sit right next to(which I found kind of annoying). The atmosphere set me off a little, but the food changed my perspective. The menu is priced very reasonably and I thought the gyro I had was delicious! We also got babaganoush, which was great with the pita bread. I will definitely return if I get a hankering for a gyro … I thought they were great!

The restaurant is very spacious with about 12 tables outside & a variety of bar stool tables, regular tables, & booths inside. The waitress was very nice & attentive, the timeliness was just right, & the food was delicious. There were 4 in our party, so we started off by sharing the zorba platter which had grape leaves, hummus, tzatziki, hummus, whipped feta cheese, baba ganouj & was served with warm, soft, & delicious pita bread. The drinks were all delicious as well. We had the hot tea & mint infuses frozen lemonade with a fresh mint leaf topping. To our surprise even the fountain drinks, the cola & lemonade, tasted above average. Our entrees were the gyro platter, the gyro wrap, chicken wrap, & the chicken kabob with orzo & grilled vegetables. All of it was fresh, cooked to perfection, & delicious. Our grand finale was the baklava cheesecake! It was flaky, creamy, & nutty with a flavor to please all, those who love sweet & those who just need a hint of sweet. We will definitely be coming back. Food, ambience, & service were all superb.

I used to visit Zorba’s on a weekly basis when I worked in the area. The location was usually rather empty and service was quick for most instances. I have been here a few times with poor service(including refusing a Groupon), but overall it served as a nice place for a tasty and(relatively) healthy lunch. This was also a great meeting spot since we were always able to get a table and the restaurant was typically quiet during the day. The décor in the restaurant is really odd. The sponge painted walls seem outdated and almost like you’re in a weird room in someone’s home. We came to Zorba’s for the food. The Zorba’s Salad was my go to meal. It came with really delicious potato salad, and all the toppings including a big hunk of feta. The salad was served with either gyro meat or chicken and came with pita triangles and taziki. Now I’m hungry. Zorba’s has always made the best Greek salad in the Orlando area(to me, at least) and I’m sad I don’t work close by anymore. Worth a visit, especially if you can make it there during the day!

This place is really great. I see what people mean, it was totally empty when we went at 8p. But the waitress was very nice and our food was great. We both got the gyro platter with substitutions. I had extra salad instead of fries and he got the Mediterranean rice. Plenty of gyro meat and the tziki was to die for. I didn’t care for the Greek salad dressing but I don’t eat sugar and it had some. It was pink and creamy.

There are a few Greek restaurants we go to in this area, including at Dr Phillips and International Drive, and the food is somewhat similar between them. I like Zorba the best because of its expansive, covered outside patio. Plus, the lunch special is currently a $ 5 gyro, which is hard to beat. This is one of my top choices for outdoor dining in the area.

Zorba’s Greek Taverna was really unimpressive. Stopped by for lunch one day with coworkers and even though the place was basically dead, it took forever to get any service. The host was also our server, and he was friendly, but he took his darn time doing anything. We got one refill on our waters, he took forever to come get our orders and bring our checks. Definitely unimpressed with that, especially since there were fewer than 5 tables that were seated. Then on to the food. Ok, I get that basically every Greek restaurant in town sources their gyro from the same company, but the rest of the food was… blah. I ordered a chicken platter, which was a great deal with salad, pita, chicken and fries, but the flavor of chicken wasn’t good. Maybe I got spoiled with Greek Flame Taverna’s chicken, but this was just flavorless. I tried a bit of their lemon chicken orzo soup as well, and that was also horribly flavorless. I couldn’t taste the lemon at all, and it didn’t seem to have any veggies in it either. The menu looks like it should be great. They have so many options, but I was just overall unimpressed.

What can I say. Zorba’s Greek Taverna is one awesome place. If you are looking for authentic greek food in Orlando this is the place to go. I went here for an early dinner(around 5:30−6 pm) and the place was not busy at all, so the service was pretty quick and good. Appetizers: My friend and I decided to try the Zorba’s platter which consisted of baba ganouj, whipped feta cheese, hummus, tzatziki, grape leaves and pita bread. I have to say the grape leaves were by far my favorite. They were delicious. You can tell that the food is freshly made. For my entrée: I decided to try their chicken gyro and i was very happy with my choice. The chicken was very seasoned and full of flavors. They also had a special 50% all entrees and drinks for happy hour. I honestly had an awesome experience and I think I will have to come back to try one of their dinner platters.

First impression was not all that great. It was a Friday night at 8pm and it was not busy at all. They had a total of 4 tables and that’s counting us! So I was a little hesitant to ordering certain foods and was hoping the food was good in general. Well the food and service were good – nothing great. We ordered 3 appetizers: Octopus(was tough and dry but texture & taste not out of the ordinary), tirosalata(absolutely delicious!), and saga aka(flaming cheese – good stuff but add lots n lots of lemon to make it good). For dinner we ordered 2 gyros which were good but the meat was a little dry but their tzatziki sauce is amazing. The last entrée we ordered was the special for the night which was a platter of gyro meat, 2 chicken skewers, Greek salad and french fries. Best part of the platter was the french fries, which were steak fries topped with feta cheese-super yummy! The chicken was burnt and tasted like the grill :(Overall, the food was okay. Last we ordered 2 desserts to go: Baklava and Baklava Cheesecake was were absolutely AH-MAZING! Our server was friendly but at times slow. I think she cooked the food too cuz she disappeared for long periods of time. I would go back and give it another shot but by far not my favorite Greek restaurant

I’ll never understand why this place is always so empty when I go… maybe because it’s tucked away. The food here is great, though I was surprised the waitress didn’t know what souvlaki was and it wasn’t on the menu. The hummus and pita is really delicious, as is the tatziki sauce. I’ve had the gyro, chicken kabobs and beef pastitsio… and enjoyed them all! Great for lunch and dinner. They also have a belly dancer with music… but in between the show they don’t really play much music, so it’s a bit quiet. The décor isn’t quite there and the sound system could use an update… but I still come back for the food. Oh, if you like ouzo, they have 2−4−1 on Fridays for $ 5. Good deal! Yamas!
