I ordered the red beans and rice as my entrée and jambalaya as my side. Their jambalaya is really good. It had a kick to it. I think next time I’d switch the two and order the jambalaya as my main and red beans as the side. The portions were pretty good too. I couldn’t finish it because the beans and rice were pretty heavy together. Thanks to FIT for inviting them to serve at the exam break party!

Yup I missed out — I actually didn’t get to taste their food — my friend got their red beans and rice and would not share it was so good. He said the sausage was a bit spicy but good. The container looked small, but he kept eating and eating and said it was a bottomless pit — he got full! They were super fast on their service. I so regret the arepa’s I got that night. Can’t wait for this food truck to come back so I can give it a try — so Don’t pass them up!

Voodoo kitchen food truck offer the Cajun Cuisine. I have a chance to try them when the generation food court event host an Orlando food truck in Tampa. This food are modernize with the menu in LED screen. The even indicate if you cannot see the menu, you probably have the sunglasses on. They serve Creole style cuisine such as crawfish étouffée, fried shrimp popboy, gumbo, and jambalaya. I have one of the jambalaya and is $ 9. The jambalaya is with pull pork and chicken with sausage. The rice is well cook. I have better jambalaya with a bit spicy. This jambalaya is a bit Tone down. May be they can put some voodoo sauce to make me hook. Overall from the order to deliver is quick. I got my food in 5 minutes. If I try again, I would go for the shrimp popboy or crawfish étouffée.

My sister and I went to a Food Truck Bazaar in October and this place was one of the featured venues. We had their Jambalaya and it was amazing! Very flavorful with the perfect amount of spicy. We couldn’t stop raving about to our family! Can’t wait to have another bowl and try some more of their dishes. :)
