Tijuana Flats

Loved the food, atmosphere, and the wait staff was great! (very nice people, who check in on you often) Such a cool little place! The salsa and guacamole were really good! Would definitely go back!

We stopped in here to meet friends for lunch. I love T Flats but I generally go to the location in Dr. Phillips. When we first walked in, we were greeted by a really nice guy asking if we needed help with the menus and commented on my Red Sox shirt. He really set the tone and unfortunately no one else lived up to it. My husband and I ordered chips and queso along with our burritos. Typically, at least at the other location, there is a sign at the register which lists their taco and burrito fixings but it was missing. I often rely on this list so when she asked if I wanted everything on it, all I could think of was no olives. I wish I had remembered to tell her I hate lettuce but without the sign I just completely forgot. And when I stalled, thinking of what is in them, she never offered to help me remember.
Our friends had gotten there before us and were already eating their meal. The way T Flats works is you place your order, give a name, take a seat and wait for them to call your name; they’ll bring the food to you. While you wait check out their awesome hot sauce bar!!! We got our chips and queso which is a must have here! We love that they season the chips and the queso is just amazing! Typically the food is pretty quick to come out but we had finished our appetizer before our food ever appeared. Our very sullen waitress finally showed up and placed our respective burritos in front of us. I took one bite and started to gag… she had given me my husband’s order. Once our food was switched I bit in and realized all the other ingredients I forgot to ask to have removed. Oh well. We finished our meals and left but it was one of the first times I didn’t even eat half of what I ordered. I think I’ll stick to the Dr Phillips location.

Came to this place for lunch today. Super dank food and really good service. The manager James made sure we were good the whole time. Not in the annoying way but honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had with Tijuana and I’ve been to like 10 of them.

I used to go to the sand lake road location until a few months go. At this location the service is the BEST! Dont get me wrong — I love Tijuana Flats and I have been to several locations. But this location has the BEST service. Everyone is always smiling and they know what they are doing. One of the managers, Felicia, shes always there when I go in. She and all the staff there greet me, say «welcome back» and she always remembers what I like and what I want. The food is always fresh and hot. I always ask for extra tomatoes because they are the best! Thanks guys at Tijuana Flats!

Taco Tuesday is always an easy choice and Tijuana Flats holds its own in the taco world. Chips were fresh and my once a month ground beef fix was worth the added calories and fat. My only complaint is the meat was a little more greasy than I cared for but I’m used to ground Turkey so it might just be me.

Very good mexican food. Big porcions of food. Great variety of hot sauces. Good prices. Colorfull store. Good customer service.

We come to this Tijuana flats so much it’s ridiculous. Staff is awesome. They always greet us and give us great service, and our order is always right and delicious! Hot sauce bar is amazing and they have a lot of great deals and specials! :)

They always get my order right and they get the food out fast. It’s so delicious and the hot sauce bar is always fun to explore.

The beans and rice were both served cold. Save your money and go to Walmart and buy frozen Mexican food.

Eureka! We have found it! We’ve been on a mission for more authentic Mexican food and shockingly found it here. I was skeptical because it’s a chain and near a college but man! The décor itself is amazing and so fun to look at while you wait and eat. And the «Hot Bar»? Yes please! I died and went to spicy heaven. I tried the hottest one made with a form of ghost pepper (I assume) and while it did have a kick it didn’t leave me sweating, but I’ve also worked at a wing shop so I’ve been exposed to a lotttttt of ghost pepper, ha. I wasn’t a huge fan of the taste of the spicy one but it was more of a smoked chipotle flavor, which is something I’m not a fan of. However the tropical mango one with habanero was ON POINT! I drenched my chimichanga in it. I got the chimi with carnitas and it was filled with all kinds of goodness and was not wet (which you can ask for but I like my chimi crispy). The carnita was deliciously seasoned! My boyfriend got a steak burrito and although they accidentally gave him a chimi on accident he didn’t mind a lot. The salsa with the chips was amazing! I’m so happy we found this place and that it is so close to us.

Ordered a chicken & black bean burrito. Came out cold on inside and missing beans. After reorder, burrito came back with chicken & beans inside, but still cold. Makes me wonder how fresh the ingredients are…

My husband and I love this place! Tacos are amazing! Sometimes though, their steak is too salty but that rarely happens and that’s just nit picking. Their guacamole is very good too! We would recommend this place to anyone wanting some Mexican food!

Let me just say that I LOVE flautas and this place has the best ones I have had in this area. Not to mention the hot sauce bar to liven things up. The vibe is cool and they are quick for lunch too!

Came to visit Disney from South Carolina and was looking for Mexican and this one poped out with good reviews, so thought I try it. Well, it’s ok Mexican food, I had the burrito and tacos, burrito was pretty dry with just steak, lettuce and shredded cheese which wasn’t melted, still cold like they just took it out of the fridge. I asked the waitress if they served Horchata a must have at mexican place and she thought it was a kind of wine. The service was great, waitresses constantly walking around to see what we needed, the food ok, nothing to brag about. If your looking for real Mexican food go to Agave Azul, went there the following evening and definitely much better choice.

Taco Tuesday’s cant be missed. The employees are fast and friendly, making sure you have what you need and get what you order…

I don’t know why Unilocal does not show the West Sand Lake Road (Dr. Phillips Area) South-​West Orlando location of Tijuana Flats… it has been open for two years now. That’s the location we patronize.
This is very inexpensive (two can dine for under $ 20) Mexican food… but it is very fresh and delicious. Tijuana Flats is a favorite restaurants of ours, and we go there at least 3 times a month.
The tacos and burritos are great. The chips and salsa and quest and rice and beans are great. Try the fish tacos, too… very good.

Love love love! From the atmosphere to the hot sauce bar. From the burritos to the crushed ice. And don’t forget the queso.
I can’t say enough about how nice the staff is here, and how much I look forward to the hot sauce bar every time we walk though the doors. And I ways manage to find something new on the ceiling!

I just wanted to rave about yet another great experience! This experience has nothing to do with free food or comped meals but everything to so with how great the staff is on every visit! Some of their staff has been there as long as I can remember and I honestly feel like they love their jobs and guests. The management of this location is a rock-​star for finding so many kind, friendly and attentive staff members! The staff here is perfection!

I love mexican food (whether is tex mex or authentic mexican … it doesn’t matter) and I try to taste new places in order to find one to be «my spot».
We ended up here by chance and since we are from California we didn’t know about the restaurant chain.
First of all the Decoration is unique and colorful! Looking for something different … HERE IT IS!
The cashier was amazing and explained everythin to us to make sure we got what we wanted and the way we wanted!
When we got our food — we got chips and salsa, a burrito and a tostada salad — it looked fresh AND tasted fresh! Plus it had great flavor to it.
They have a salsa bar from the mildest to the crazy spicy ones and we TRIED to try them all but some of them were killer spicy!
This place is amazing! Plus the manager was making sure that everything was ok and he was offering refills and taking the empty plates away!
We are definitely coming back!!! It’s a MUST GO place!!!
