Everything is always wonderful there. The managers Tom, Brian and Kyle are always so friendly and welcoming when ever we come in. They remodeled the restaurant and the bar area is so much larger now. It’s fun to go in and have just cheese and dessert at the bar area. One of our favorite restaurants to go to for special occasions or just on a regular night.

We brought a group of graduating seniors from Pennsylvania while on their senior trip. What a wonderful experience we had! Sean and Shane were fabulous servers, interacting with the students and answering all their questions. The manager Tom was very accommodating and clearly explained the process to the kids. One of them declared this meal was a 15 out of 10! Thanks for a great time.

Nice. Our waitress could have been better. The food amount was very small but I think you pay for the experience. Had a good time!

We have been to The Melting Pot plenty of times, but this was our first time visiting the one in Orlando as we are from South Florida. This visit was one of the best visits by far. Gabrielle was our server and she was awesome. She was very pleasant and professional. The restaurant setup, décor, and cooking stations was more up-to-date than the other locations we have visited. Our meal was great as the food is always fresh and tasty. We will definitely be coming back to this location when we visit Orlando again.

I grew up in Orlando going to the original Melting Pot in Maitland. I’ve been a life-long fan of the chain but some are better than others. This is one of the gems! Our server Harrison was fantastic and paced the meal perfectly. He even added the kirsch to our cheese fondue when I learned they now didn’t add it automatically. The manager came by just to check and see if we were enjoying everything. The bar made a nice dirty martini too lol. Very private and romantic, the cooking is interesting and kind of like entertainment. And delicious! I recommend getting the 4 course(you’ll be stuffed but happy). My favorites are the Pacific Rim for entrée, the traditional swiss cheese, and the yin-yang white/dark chocolate. Heavenly!

We happened upon the Melting Pot by chance and decided to make a reservation. Best idea ever! After being promptly seated at 8 o’clock sharp, we met our server Veronica who was a delight. It was our first time with the hot pot but after Veronica’s instructions, we were practically pros! Meal was great — meats and seafood were fresh, variety of sauces to pair with your meal, and the servers were very helpful with what to order. Have absolutely nothing bad to say about the entire meal but I do want to talk about the customer service. Through Unilocal,we had an offer for 3 free chocolate covered strawberries. Because they were made that morning, when we had asked for a box they were no longer available. But this did not stop Veronica from going above and beyond. She spoke with the manager, Tom, who came over to offer us a box of chocolate wafers, which also included DIY fondue instructions, or for the chefs to make up a new box just for us. Because we were from out of town and unable to pick up the box when we got home, we decided to wait for the freshly made batch. But we didn’t get just 3 strawberries, no. We got 6 for the inconvenience. Which really wasn’t an inconvenience, we just hung out an extra 15 minutes and I got to listen to my bf complain about how he couldn’t say no to another go at the chocolate fondue. Side note: Tom, the manager, was a super awesome guy. We noted earlier in the night before this whole interaction happened that he seemed cool. He’s such a genuine person, my boyfriend turns to me after and says, «He’s the kind of guy I would go out for a drink with.» We definitely recommend this place and wanted to let all know that they are worth the visit. Once you meet their staff and taste the food, you’ll be back for a regular fondue-ing. If we didn’t live so far away, we’d come back to engorge ourselves silly with cheese, meat, shrimp, and chocolate. #HeartFace

This is hands down my favorite location. The staff is amazing and the manager always comes and checks on the tables. He is super hands on which is great. The food is always fresh and great and the servers are always good at guiding you in the right path to the best foods! Their beer prices aren’t that bad for it being a high end restaurant and their wines aren’t to bad either. If you have not been, I recommend coming! Be prepared to spend money and be way to full to move! This round our server Kelly is sweet and quick! She knows her food and offered to get us more broccoli for out cheese fondu!

We had dinner here when we were in Orlando for our meeting and it was a really nice representation of everything I’ve come to love about The Melting Pot restaurants. Ambiance is low lit with several small intimate dining areas and larger tables for bigger parties. We had a reservation but we did have to wait about 15 or more minutes before we were seated. Our server was nice and we were a pretty large group so I’m sure it wasn’t easy on her. Gluten free is very easy at the melting pot which is awesome to have a little stress taken away that comes with eating out when you have Celiac. They have several cheese, entrée, and dessert fondues that are gluten free. You can also get gf bread and dessert sides, which makes you feel like you didn’t miss out at all! I had the alpine cheese fondue, and it was oh so nom. Gf bread and veggies hit the spot. My fav is the surf n turf entrée and they were very easy going about substituting for the two items on that entrée plate that contain gluten. The turtle chocolate fondue with gf brownies is my downfall. I just can’t get enough and my colleagues might have been uncomfortable if I licked the pot like I really wanted to. I had saved about ½ of my entrée meal aside to take home and when I came back from the bathroom I was pretty upset to see my dinner’s filet mignon and chicken I had cooked and nicely separated, had been tossed without asking me. I didn’t say much aside from asking our server about it, she apologized and I told her it was ok and not her fault. The manager came by on his own accord and brought a large box of their chocolate strawberries to make up for the mistake. So very thoughtful! I’ll take chocolate covered anything as an apology. The melting pot is a bit of a pricey restaurant in general but I always love the experience, food quality and portions, and service. It’s a fav

For our visit my date and I had the four course experience which is a really great choice for first time melting pot visitors! You get to try their three types of fondues: cheese, broth, and chocolate. When we first ordered our waiter told us that we will be spending over two hours eating the fondues. At first we didn’t believe him. However, after having so much fun with every course the two hours passed really quickly! So, if you’re planning a date night definitely take the time into consideration! Now for the logistics. The four course comes cheese fondue then salad then meat/broth then chocolate. For main course we got the Classic and the Pacific Rim. The Classic was a great combination of meats but the Pacific Rim fell a bit short. The dumplings were very squishy and the selection of meats wasn’t as good as the Classic. Also, make sure to ask your waiter his recommendation of the entrée cooking style so he will suggest the best type of broth to go with your meats. My only other complaint is that our waiter put way too much citrus into our broth and so our meal was very, very acidic tasting. All in all, it was a delicious experience. Next time I’m coming here just for the chocolate fondue, which is in my opinion the best part of the meal!

We went to the melting pot for a fondue Bourguignonne with oil. I’m French and I can say I was just super impressed! The fondue was EXCELLENT. The presentation was amazing, the price excellent, the quality perfect, the quantity just right sized. The sauces were also perfect, 6 of them were delicious. The staff and service were excellent, Justin made a superb impression, we came for a $ 60 dinner and we left with a $ 120 dinner. We took 2 fondues, 3 glasses of wine, 1 salad and 2 extra portions of Angus beef. Justin took the time to explain everything, was smiling and didn’t take too much space. He is the perfect employee. If it was my employee I will give him directly a 20% increase as he is generating ancillary revenue and new customer acquisition. Overall this restaurant is a gem. Great experience. I recommend and will come back if everything close to Naples.

While in Orlando for a short family trip the Melting Pot quickly became a place of destination. Our wait was brief and service prompt. We opted for the full treatment. Four courses: A Swiss cheese fondue, laced with white wine, including fruits, breads(gluten free, too), and vegetables. I could have stopped there, but the salad course revived my confidence. Next the meats, I chose beef, the others had seafood & vegetarian all in a simmered oil fondue. Oy…“Uncle!” No we had committed to the desert fondue — marshmallows, Rice Krispy squares, pound cake, brownies, and more mixed fruits in served with 2 fondue baths, milk chocolate & peanut butter and dark chocolate with a swirl of toffee bits. Yes, decadent to say the least. Hindsight, skip the salad course and by all means have the 3 fondue courses!

First off, our server Justin was amazing. Funny and just the right amount of interaction that made the night and meal that much more enjoyable. We went for my birthday dinner and used the new ladies night promo there. The drinks we had(yin yang, snicker doodle, and sangria) were phenomenal. The food was also an experience that is well worth trying. My only dislike was the tuna, boiled is not really the way to cook it. However, you can substitute anything you don’t want for something else they have and they are very accommodating. The dessert really is the best, though, so if you want to just get that you won’t be sorry. It is pricey however so save this for a special occasion. All in all it was a great time!

First time visitors this past weekend. We wanted to unique date night experience. It’s definitely pricey, which I expected, but occasionally I felt like maybe we were being ripped off by the add-ons. If I returned, it would probably just be for dessert or appetizers. The meat course wasn’t as great as the other two. Things we liked: –We were seated immediately. I made a reservation on Open Table two days beforehand. –Super secluded seating. We had our own little booth for two and felt like we were by ourselves. –The cheddar cheese fondue was really good. I would absolutely get it again. Things we loved: –The cookies and crème dessert fondue. Incredible. I would go back just for wine and dessert. –Husband said pork medallions were fantastic and paired well with the dipping sauces. Things I didn’t love: –The chicken was kind of bland, and none of the dipping sauces really complimented boiled chicken, in my opinion. –The bread for dipping in the cheese was a wee bit on the stale side. Lots of chewing. –The wine list was way overpriced. I’m happy to pay $ 11 for a glass of wine if it’s different or unique in some way. Not when I can go to Publix and get the entire bottle for that price. –The cocktails were a little weak. I expect that from a restaurant chain, but these were basically fruit juice that the kids at the next table could’ve ordered.

After years of wanting to try The Melting Pot, I took my husband and two of our friends there for his birthday dinner. Once we arrived, we were seated at a nice table for 4 and Adam was our server. Having never been here, Adam explained the whole process and answered any questions we had. After 10 min of deciding what to order, we finally got the 4 course option. It was a good way to go being first time visitors. Everything tasted wonderful and for us, there was plenty of food by the time you ate all four courses. For the service and quality of food, I think it is a good value for the almost $ 50 a head we were paying. My only challenge and the reason for a lack of 5 stars was the cost of cocktails. If you don’t drink, the price would be okay but 1⁄3 of our bill was the bar bill and only 3 of the 4 of us drank anything. It is sometimes hard to celebrate a special occasion without a cocktail! We all had a good time and we are happy we tried it out. We will come again in the future to try different options… but we will stop for drinks before we get there. ;-) Atmosphere = 8 Service = 10 Food = 9 The Melting Pot is a find place for a special celebration and I look forward to my next visit. Enjoy!

If you love The Melting Pot as much as I do, you may not think things could get any better, but I must warn you, the all new«Dip Into Summer» special is rather awesome. I always order my fondue with the oil for frying… call it a southern thing if you will, but the Old Bay seasoned broth for boiling with this limited time offer has me rethinking my position. In addition to a ridiculously good BBQ brisket cheddar fondue, the all new«Dip Into Summer» special features pacific white shrimp, scallops, lobster & shrimp ravioli, andouille sausage and succulent crab claws. Instead of oil for frying, this special is prepared with an Old Bay seasoned cooking broth that features fresh corn on the cob, red potatoes and andouille sausage. The BBQ Brisket Cheddar fondue was outstanding. It features chunks of savory smoked barbecue brisket, medium sharp cheddar and Emmenthaler Swiss cheeses with fresh tomatoes and scallions. The usual dipping items of various breads, green apples and a vegetable assortment are included with this as well. I’m not usually a fan of wedge salads, but this was quite tasty. A crisp iceberg wedge is served with sliced Roma tomatoes, Gorgonzola cheese, hardwood smoked bacon and peppercorn ranch dressing. The Summertime Sipper is a perfect drink for this time of year. One sip and you will feel like you are at the beach relaxing. This cocktail contains fresh watermelon and cucumber with Malibu rum and fresh lime juice to create a refreshing cocktail you’ll want to sip all summer long. For all the beer drinkers out there, the Melting Pot has you covered as well. This refreshing beer flight from Sam Adams Summer Ale and Lemonade, features Black Cherry Blush, Ruby Red Crush & Lively Lemon flavors in 7oz servings. Each flavor also available in full 12oz size. Last, but certainly not least, is the Banana Split Chocolate Fondue. This dessert combines all the flavors of a classic banana split into a decadent milk chocolate fondue with cherries on top.

If anyone were to ask me to make a list of the most romantic restaurants in Orlando, The Melting Pot would most certainly end up on my Top 5. There is something cozy and sweet about fondue. Alpine Fondue The Melting Pot My date, Chad, had never experienced fondue so I decided to introduce him to The Melting Pot. We were seated at a cozy booth for two. Our server introduced himself right away and we placed our order for the Classic Alpine Cheese appetizer. Our server made the cheese fondue tableside. We watched him mix white wine, fresh garlic and nutmeg into a blend of Gruyère, raclette and fontina cheeses. We were given broccoli, carrots, cauliflower and apples to dip along with and a bowl of bread cubes. The fondue was very much a fiesta in my mouth. My favorite was the crisp sweet apples and cauliflower with the creamy cheese. For our entrée we ordered the Good Earth Vegetarian dish. We received edamame, baby Portobello mushrooms, artichoke hearts, asparagus, Thai peanut-marinated tofu, spinach and artichoke raviolis and mushroom sacchetti(pasta) to dip into a vegetable consume. We both loved the tofu and the mushroom sacchetti. I personally loved the portobello mushrooms and edamame while Chad was partial to the artichoke hearts. We also tried a full order of the Spinach and Artichoke Raviolis. While they had a good taste they were hard to keep on the fondue fork while they were cooking! Everything on the vegetable platter cooked in less than two minutes with a buffet of sauces to dip. I’ve been here before with a large group and we had ordered a lot of meat which takes slightly longer to cook. It was a fun atmosphere with a lot of conversation, making this a perfect spot for a romantic date or a celebratory gathering with friends. And every entrée comes with a side of vegetables and potatoes to dip as well. I had signed up with Club Fondue, The Melting Pot’s email club. We had dined quite close to my birthday so I had received a box of chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate, along with a birthday card from the staff. Nice touch. One thing we skipped was the chocolate fondue as we had other plans for dessert that evening. Next time. I would still highly recommend The Melting Pot for a fun evening and great food. This was my first visit since I started eating a mostly Vegetarian diet so it was nice to see plenty of options for non-meat eaters.

Thank you to The Melting Pot for making my parents’ 25th Anniversary memorable and sweet! It was our first time trying any sort of fondue experience, so it was definitely fun and educational. For one, our server, Megan, was really friendly and made us feel comfortable with the entire menu. We chose to have the Four Course Experience and it was pretty cool. The Cheese Course was alright; it came with bread, nachos, apples, and different kinds of veggies. I forgot what kinds of cheeses we ordered, but I remember the apples with cheese were the best. The salad was a salad. For our main entrees, we had the Classic, Fondue Delight, and French Quarter options. I don’t know if they serve the exact same entrees anymore, but they were enjoyable. I personally felt that the broths and meats were a little bland; I also think that serving these with a grain or vegetable of some sort would definitely be beneficial — it would help break down the monotony of the pure excess of protein. Dessert was the most fun(because, duh) and we ordered the Yin & Yang Chocolate Fondue. I enjoyed the dipping selections, but I do wish there was more fresh fruit. To be honest, it was the service that really brought this experience home for us. Megan was wonderful, but all the other servers there that night were great as well. Mark, the manager, stopped by our table and congratulated my parents on their anniversary; it really brought the experience full circle. They also had a little card for them as well — I thought it was a sweet touch. Best of all though, FREEBOXOFCHOCOLATE-COVEREDSTRAWBERRIES with a Unilocal Check-In! It’s honestly one of the best check-in offers out there and I would go eat at Melting Pot just to get one of those because they’re so worth it. Anyway, for fondue newbies, we really had a great time and we’ll definitely come back some time again soon.
