My new favorite place. Atmosphere is perfect and so are the crab cakes. I’m from Maryland so I know. Excellent service, too.

The perfect location for the perfect business luncheon. If you or your companion is a fan of golf, then so much the better! Located near the RDV Sportsplex, Sam Snead’s is huge with seating inside and outside. I’ve eaten here on at least half dozen different occasions — with parties large and small. The service has always been SPOTON. I never have to wait to be seated. The menu is expansive — salad, burgers, salads, soups, seafood. You cannot go wrong. My favorite is simple — Caesar salad with oak grilled salmon. For $ 13 it is the perfect lunch for me… which is why I keep coming back. I would recommend Sam Snead’s to anyone but particularly those who know how to get down to business, be it for work or for food.

This is a great place overall. I have yet to try it for dinner but I have done lunch here 4 – 5 times in the last 3 months. So let’s start with my first review since I moved to Florida. Location is perfect for the number of businesses within the proximity of the restaurant. Parking is more than ample and the lot is in great shape. The sign is visible from the main road and no ones will have trouble finding this place. So it’s great for lunch meet ups and meetings. The staff is super friendly and very good from the hostesses to the waiters/waitresses and even the bussers. The food is on point, I have had 5 different meals so far and not had a bad one yet. I especially favor the chicken Ceasar salad here. The seating is spacious I never feel like I’m on top of another table. The décor is really cool and based on the golf pro that the place is named after. This place gets my first Florida stamp of approval!

Good Business Lunch. Wen’t here for a lunch with the boss and was able to get in and out within an hour. The Cobb salad was good and the ranch dressing was outstanding. In the past I have ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, out of this world. Service is great as well.

I have eaten at this restaurant twice and had great experiences each time. The salmon and steaks are fantastic. I had the ahi tuna app and the peppercorns were a bit too much but the fish itself was outstanding. Service is equal to high end steakhouses such as Ruth Chris.

Sam Snead’s offers quality food at a midrange price. I’ve been 4 times now and never unsatisfied. I’ve had the baby back ribs twice and recommend those to anyone. My first lunch was a club sandwich that was huge and delicious; not sure if they still have it on the menu. A+ on the sweet potato fries! The interior is themed around golf, but it’s nothing that’s bothered me thanks to the low light atmosphere. It’s more casual then you might think, and the food is American, including burgers I’ve yet to try but hear are very good. They accommodate different size parties well and it’s not so busy, even when we went Friday night without plans. Service has always been good. The type of place that wants to make sure your order is perfect and will correct anything for you.

Went here for a business lunch and it’s a great little corporate type, golf eccentric grub spot. Dark colored woods and green field accessories line the walls of golfs elite. We had an hour lunch and service was spot on. Quick to order, quick to get your food, glass always refilled, and condiments at the ready. I opted for the Reuben; with the selling point being corn beef made in house. which was fantastic. Greasy crunchy bread, more than sour sauerkraut. I still don’t get why they put the thousand island on the side, but just one extra step I suppose. Fries were standard, add your own salt and pepper as they were pretty flavorless. Overall it was a good experience I left happy and full.

Had our holiday luncheon here. Had the chicken salad sandwich. It was yummy. Also tried the key lime pie and it tasted authentic and fresh. Friendly staff. Lunch crowd was a little loud.

For this area being FULL of office buildings and working people, there are so few restaurants and happy hour spots. Sneeds is not one of my favorite locations for lunch or happy hour, but due to the limited options, it’s probably the best in this vicinity. Their lunch staff is very professional and courteous. This is something that can be appreciated in this area because it’s an easy place to bring a client for lunch. I’m not a big fan of the lunch menu though. Your typical American-style restaurant with sandwiches, salads, and entrees. Items like a chicken Cobb salad, grilled chicken sandwich, etc. No vegetarian options unless you customize and go without protein for the meal. With that exception, it’s generally easy for everyone in the party to find something to eat and be satisfied. I’ve also visited the location for happy hour. The restaurant is dark inside, so i opted for the patio seating. The view is the parking lot, but at least there is good light and outdoor air. There is not currently a cocktail menu, although the waitress said it’s something they’re working on. They do have a few items on draft and a couple of decent wine specials during happy hour. It’s an easy spot for lunch or happy hour when working in the area, but nothing special that will leave you with a lasting impression.

Sam Snead’s easily deserves something between four and a five stars. Above average casual dining here. This location’s sometimes deplorably busy with expense account traffic but we’ve feathered in just nicely without complaint. Very attentive wait staff. Customer service has always been really rather good and our wait times, even when crowded haven’t been too long. We’ve brought the children in a few times without issue from staff or patrons, though they were on their best behavior risk reward. Bar prices were fairer than expected. No complaint from the food, everythings always been really good. Even the burgers come to order, which is something of a lost art.

Let me startby saying it should never take 75 minutes to get your food. How hard is it to cook a decent burger asked for well done came out rare. Waitress never asked how the meal was and she was too busy talking to other waiters to care. Burger was overly expensive fries were average. Will not go back to this establishment again.

I got there right before 7pm. Waited at the bar for 10 mins(no it wasn’t busy) before someone finally came over only to have them tell me they won’t honor the bar hh menu. I left… So I couldn’t tell you if the food is good but the bar service isn’t.

Good food in a nice or fancy bar atmosphere. Decent wine choices and a fair beer selection. Sitting more in the bar section, which is great with me, had TV views if you want or intimate seating.

My wife and I were there a couple weeks ago for first time. She ordered an Arnold Palmer and I told her, as waiter was taking order, that they did not serve that but she could get a Sam Sneed. Will, the waiter, picked up on this right away and said yes she could have a Sam Sneed. It was very funny. You guessed it she is not a golfer. Any way we ordered and my steak was a little overcooked and«Will» said let me get you another one, I said no as this was just fine. Within a minute, «Sharon» the manager came over and said please let us replace it the way you prefer. Said no it was fine. Needless to say we were very impressed with our waiter«Will» and the manager«Sharon». In fact we went back there for dinner two nights latter and really enjoyed our evening. The entire staff is very efficient, courteous and friendly. Oh yea we will be back when we are in Orlando.

This restaurant is in the same parking lot as the RDV, so there tends to be a lot of sports fans here. It’s also located near a lot of businesses, so it can get pretty busy for workday lunches. The most recent time I visited, it was to hit the bar, with a group of 6 of us at 3 on a Friday afternoon. We were all able to sit at the bar, though all of the bar area tables were filled up. We all ordered several drinks and our bartender, Mike, took quick care of anything we needed. The draft selection is the downfall for me. There were a number IPA’s on tap, but not anything less than mainstream and most of the beers were really light. This trip we didn’t order any food, so I’ll leave that review to others.

The crowd is mostly a business oriented type of clientele. Sam Sneads is located in the same plaza as the RDV sport center. Never been to their dinner service but lunch time is very busy and reservations are highly recommended, especially if you have a big group. Service: great customer service from the minute you walk in, hostesses are very friendly, waiters and waitresses are very knowledgable and most importantly, the owner is on site in a daily basis to make sure everything is running smoothly. Food: I probably tried almost everything they have on their menu except for the salad. They used to have an apple almond salad which was one of my favorite but they took it off the menu. Sam’s burger is tasty, it comes plain with lettuce and tomatoes, however, they do offer toppings such as mushrooms, bacon, fried egg, avocado, cheese for a little extra. You can also substitute the fries for onions rings or a house salad for a little extra. I would also recommend the Patty Melt for that category of food. Chicken sandwich is good as well, I wish the portion was a little bigger especially when the bun is bigger than the piece of chicken breast. You can order it oak grilled or blackened and I prefer a side of honey mustard to go with it. You can also add some havarti cheese to go with the sandwich for a little extra. «Mexican» infusion menu: personally, I don’t think this portion of the menu fits this restaurant nor do I think they have chefs capable to make it taste anywhere near Mexican food. I order the quesadillas here in there hoping that it would taste better but it never does, not to brag but I can better tasting quesadillas than the one they serve. They don’t have a specific kids menu but I am sure you can order a little cheeseburger sandwich for the little ones and I would highly recommend their chicken tenders as they are great and tasty. Sam’s turkey sandwich is one of my favorite items on the menu, ask your server to toast it for you, it just tastes that much better and I order mine with only turkey, avocado and sometimes cheese, no to everything else(bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo) The grown up version of the chicken tenders is served with fries and cole slaw salad. The restaurant offers daily specials, usually in a combination of soups, salads or half sandwiches. Their onion soup, chilli soup, chicken tortilla soup, clam chowder soups are all great. Chicken salad sandwich is also a good choice, I just can’t order it anymore as my stomach doesn’t do too well with the mayo. Thursday’s are meatloaf special days: two big size portions of meat served on top of a bed of mashed potatoes, very tasty, very filling and available while they last. Sometimes they sell out quickly, but other times you might get lucky and they’ll have some left. Seafood plates are a bit out of our tables price range but for those seafood lovers, they have(I think the newly updated menu still has) crab cake sandwich. My favorite is the oak grilled trout but it’s a seasonal item now. I think I’ve written enough about this establishment for the moment and I’ll update my review in case I forgot few details here and there about certain menu items.

We have been here at least 10 times for lunch and dinner. I have never had a bad meal. Their food is very good and the service is wonderful. Everyone is kind and welcoming. We have been when it is slammed and still have had quick and caring service. The atmosphere is kind of fancy, but still comfortable. I like the open kitchen. Prices range from super affordable to a bit pricey. However, we don’t mind pay a little more for the delicious food. Some of our favorite meals have been, the top sirloin with mashed potatoes, fish tacos with avocado, and the cobb salad. The key lime pie is one of my favorite all time pies! Good for a date night or business lunch, but also very family friendly. Love this place.

Sam Snead’s is an acceptable enough tavern. The service is always good, if a tad slow due to the constant crowds. I have never had a drink here as it is always for a lunch, so can’t comment on that. The margarita flatbread is absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it. The other things I’ve had are just average — chicken tenders, fish and chips and a burger. Due to the location, Sam Snead’s will continue to be a popular business meeting spot, and deservedly so. It is way better than somewhere like Applebee’s, but isn’t amazing.

I’m always wary when a restaurant claims to have«the best danged burger in town». I’m also cautious of restaurants named after famous golfers, but with his restaurant being one of the only ones near the hotel I was staying at, I figured I’d take a chance and swing by. And yes, I got the burger. It was great. Added an egg and got it with onion rings. The patties are hand pressed twice a day(according to our sweet server) and most of the stuff on the menu is prepared in house, including the corned beef used on the Reuben my buddy ordered. I’d go back

I loved this place. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! I had searched for a place on Unilocal and you never know when you are in a new neighborhood(I’m from California), but this place was excellent and not overpriced. I ate the shrimp — new orleans style. DELICIOUS! My partner ate the steak — she loved it! Also had the key lime pie — OMG! YUMMY!

Love the chips and spinach dip and the house salad with ranch is scrumptious. Great place for a business lunch or date night. I like that it is dark which sets the mood. Service has always been stellar. As a individual diner, the bar is perfect for one.

Great lunch spot. The prices on the menu aren’t bad for what you get. Great service and good food. I had a patty melt with fries for $ 13. The patty melt wasn’t the traditional. Was more like a cheeseburger on rye bread. I didn’t mind though, it was still very tasty. Service was quick. Waited 10 minutes to be seated and ordered shorty after. Total of 1 hour from start to finish.

Came here with all of my family to celebrate all the birthdays August. The first thing I noticed was how full the restaurant was on a Wednesday evening. The next thing I noticed was how noisy the restaurant was.(sorry, one of my pet peeves. I do not enjoy shouting to have a conversation with friends and family while I’m out to dinner.) I looked around and saw all of the flat surfaces that cause this. Don’t get me wrong this restaurant has a beautiful interior giving you that Gentlemans country club feel. The walls are just cram with pictures of Sam Snead and all of his accomplishments as a golfer. They must have spent a small fortune just in framing and artwork. Since we were meeting my sons and their Ladies not all of us were there at the designated arrival time. While I waited I had crab cake appetizer. It was delicious. The texture was just right, and not too much breading inside. We all later at some beers and some wine which were served very nicely. Our server Michael was very knowledgeable of all the beers that were on tap. I had the Queen cut prime rib which was served with mashed potatoes. The temperature was just right. Made for a very enjoyable meal. Others at the table had a salmon special. They also were very pleased with dish. Kudos to our server. When we arrived we informed him that we had a coupon. This had no affect on the service or attitude. Thank you for a lovely time.
