Had Rhino Subs delivered to work and OMG, was it worth it! I had the chicken gyro. The meat was so tender and it was a very generous serving on white pita. I love tzatziki and there was so much in it that it felt like heaven in a pita! The fries were cooked well and the seasoning was great. the best part of the whole experience was the service. The ordering process and delivery was smooth. I can’t wait to go in and try more items on the menu. Only thing I would suggest is to maybe reduce the number of offerings because the menu is so large it’s hard to decide what to eat. Overall, great experience, great food, and exceptional service!

They are great. Wonderful new ownership. The food is awesome but the service is even better. Great prices and you get a lot of food.

This is a sub shop. Don’t make the horrible mistake I did and order anything else but. I ordered the fish and a friend ordered the shrimp. It was unbearable. If you like eating fried cardboard. Then go for the fish.

Shittiest subs I’ve had in a while… No flavor and soggy. I’d save your money & go down the street to Laspadas. Guys been in the business for 30 years

I love this place. I’ve had a number of items on the menu, but my favorite by far is the steak tip sandwich. Definitely get the steak tip.

This might be my favorite place in Orlando to have a quick lunch or pick up some food to bring home. It’s right off of i4 and easy to drive by if you don’t know. The food is amazing quality, filling and delicious … Every time. The steak they use in their kabob wrap is actually better than some steak I’ve had at higher end restaurants. The marinade they use is mouth watering, it’s cooked on a flame grill but never burnt or dry. The rhino dressing with the feta cheese just puts it over the top!(I add just a bit of white rice in it too) The owner is there often and is always incredibly friendly and knows what you usually order.(That is the nicest touch to any place when remembering your customers and what they like). We can’t praise this place enough. Customers for life!

The Chicken Kabob on Greek Salad is the best! My co-workers and I make lunch a weekly thing.

Rhino Subs is our ‘Go To’ place when we want a very good casual lunch or dinner. Food is always very good, prices are reasonable and the people are very friendly and appreciative. Our favorites are the Steak Tip Salads on Greek, Cubans, Steak subs and steak or Chicken kabob wraps.

I know this is an Orlando staple, so it kills me to give a poor review. Here’s what I think: The service is great. We ordered and they called back, letting us know they’d run out of the item in question(cheese ravioli) so we asked for the ziti instead. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly cashier and picked up our food. There are picnic tables to sit on if you feel like dining there — and it’s covered, outside seating. The menu is incredibly expansive with several hidden items. Good atmosphere, and they were fairly busy for a Friday afternoon, but not busy enough that we waited. Our food looked delicious. The problem was with taste. I’m not a big fan of salt, and what the food needed most was any seasoning whatsoever. The pasta in the ziti was overcooked to the point of being mush, the meatballs had no season and were tough, and the pasta sauce was closer to water than tomato sauce. It tasted like red water with a hint of citric acid to preserve freshness. I was so, so disappointed — this was after a morning of being told by all my co-workers how fantastic their food was. Truthfully, I’ve never had a dish — anywhere — that poorly cooked. My co-workers salmon burger and Greek salad looked wonderful, she let me know the taste was on point. Something else worth nothing is that the prices and items on the menu seem to be at huge disparity from when you arrive. The website had ziti listed as $ 4.95 and the actual price was $ 7.95. All of the other menu items had huge price differences, as well. I’ll be giving this place one more shot due to the service and other reviews. Hoping this was just a bad day.

I love this place. The employees are nice and the subs and fries are great. I hope to soon try some other items on the menu. They have so many items that look great. Seems like there’s something good for everyone here.

I went back to Rhino’s for Lunch today. I called my order in and picked it up 10 minutes later. I threw caution to the wind and got the BLT which is basically a white hoagie roll, about 10 pieces of perfectly cooked bacon, and about a tablespoon of shredded lettuce, diced tomato and mayo just for that hint of condiment. It was a little greasy — but it IS a bacon sandwich, after all. It was pretty good, and I am going to smell like bacon for the rest of the day. Not a horrible thing in my book.

My first time going here. Had the steak sub and turkey sub. Unbelievable amount of items on the menu. From salads to pasta, really an insane amount of choices. I made the mistake and ordered the large steak sub. I wound up throwing ¼ of the sub away too much. Take it from me get a regular size. We both liked our subs, Sub and drink cost me over $ 9′, so really should have stuck with the regular. If you go there you will find something to order, there is just so many items you will find many to choose from. It looks like it has been there forever. They are not a deli like it states on Unilocal. Its a small building with tables outside in the open air.

Chicken kabob on Greek salad(regular size) and a large order of french fries for me and hubs to share was a damned decent lunch-even with the crazy Lee Road traffic noise. Their homemade dressing is soo good. Tons of food options-breakfast, even. Picnic tables outside, under a roof-very divey. Nice folks.

So maybe it’s just because I work right by there, but I love this sandwich spot and am a loyal devotee. It’s funny because it’s not so super attractive from the outside, but I was convinced to eat there once by a coworker and just have never gone back. Things I’ve eaten there and loved: Cheesesteak(yes please!) Fries(how do they make them so good???) Cheese fries(ok only a little different but still) Steak tip garden salad(yummy!) Their homemade iced tea Omelet with vegetables(yes, they’re open for breakfast and dinner too!) So basically that’s only a small fraction of the menu… go try it for yourself. I guess cons would be there’s no indoor seating, it looks kinda scruffy from the outside… umm… minimum credit card requirement of $ 7 or they add .50… really, all negligible to me. Staff are nice and attentive.

Decent subs, nothing really special. They used to be a lot busier before LaSpada’s opened just a bit further down Lee Rd. There is no inside seating so it’s not the best place to go when the weather isn’t nice. I’ve tried a couple of subs here over the years but nothing really stands out. Just kind of overall blah.

This place RULES!!! The subs are awesome! And they have killer breakfast sandwiches too! The people that work there are really nice too. There are some secrets to this place that I’m not giving away, but I highly recommend a visit!

Rhino Subs has had its ups and downs over the eight or nine years it’s been in business. Located right next door to Del Frisco’s on Lee Road, it was originally owned by the Straub(seafood) family. When it first opened, it seemed like THE new place to go if you were in the Lee Road area for lunch. Since then, I believe it has changed owners a couple of times. As far as ups and downs, they seem to be in a down mode right now. They have an extensive selection of sandwiches, but lately I haven’t found a standout among them. Better than Subway? You betcha. As good as LaSpada’s? Don’t count on it. 2 ½ stars would be my vote if that were possible.
