They never have anything made and I just finished getting my meal and my chicken is burnt!!!

The food is decent however if you dine in the place is a disorganized dirty mess and it takes forever to get your food. My advice is to get it to go.

Normally I really like this place but I am very disappointed again. At the drive-through she didn’t understand me I had to repeat myself several times. Then the order came to me wrong anyway. I asked for half lettuce half rice and I got rice with two pieces of lettuce. The chicken is always good but the staff ruin the visit when I sit inside. Sauces are so yummy though. Can I say cilantro garlic… Yummy delish. Two stars because the food is normally good.

Both registers going full steam during busy lunch. Short wait in line. Food came out faster than I expected. Chicken had very good flavor and did not need any of the sauces. Not over cooked. Yellow rice and black beans were good. I’d rethink the fried Yuca. Cold, over cooked and dry. Needed lots of sauce. Overall a good experience for my lunch.

Ordered whole chicken with two sides(mac & cheese and yuca w/garlic sauce.) Service was OK, charged me wrong and did not know about the yuca prices. Fried yuca is not listed on board. Also all out of white rice substituted with yellow rice. Food was up to usual Pollo standards except chick was burnt on one side. Really could have fixed the error in pricing and apologized. Manager needs to train employees better.

TOTHEMANAGER/OWNER: YOUOPERATETHEWORSTPOLLOTROPICAL… not that you don’t know this given all the negative reviews on this location. It is so irritating to me when companies continue to let bad employees and operators continue to waste their customers time and money. I love Pollo Tropical in general, but this location should be put out of its misery. I have been a loyal customer of this chain for years all over Florida(Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville). I recently moved to Orlando and went to my go to fast food place: Pollo Tropical. Visit number 1-Dry chick with rubbery skin and insanely salted rice(I like salt but my god) Visit 2-About two weeks later I visited again-a half hour line for six customers(manager on register), dry chicken, cold beans and the place was trashed. Visit 3-Today– was greeted by a blank stare from a dumb founded cashier, ordered dine in was packaged to go, dry chicken, was called«big guy» by a teenage boy, and the place was trashed, again. Top problems: No sense of urgency No visible leadership No attention to quality or cleanliness Inability of chain management to turn this location around after awful reviews over a long period of time

No regular barbacue, ½ chicken was more like a ¼, and was dry.

One of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever been in. Calling it a Dive would be a compliment. The service was awful. To top it off, they were out of chicken, IT’S INYOURNAME. the food was also bad. I did however was able to not get sick so, thank you.

Cheap fast latin food. You can make your own bowl with a drink for less than five dollars. However(at this location) they never get your topping right at the drive thru so I suggest ordering inside. You may still have to correct them but they’ll more likely get it right when you’re inside. Beside there’s a free salsa bar inside! I did get a little worried when I saw how they were prepping their chicken. They had a huge stack of chicken all cooked and ready to go. This stack actually was high enough to almost touch the ceiling(Not exaggerating)! I have never seen so much chicken in my life before. It was revolting to think one of those pieces could have been mine. Don’t expect fresh chicken!

*sighs* Definitely would not suggest ordering from the drive-thru! I do like Pollo Tropical when I need a quick latin fix, but seriously service is horrible at this location! I ordered a tropi-chop bowl. I specifically wanted mojo pork, with black beans, mixed with lettuce and rice, and onions. I drive up to the window, my receipt printed out chicken, rice, corn, and tomatoes. Seriously?! They are definitely not paying attention. I told them their error, and was asked to move up front and someone will come out to get the correct order. After a couple minutes, I get my meal, only to find they got my meat selection right, but still no lettuce and somehow I got corn again with peppers! At this point I didn’t care to bother to go back. It was a frustrating experience.

One of the best fast food chain I have been and because of the food not for the service that isn’t that good always. The food is fresh, as Hispanic is the place to eat when you are in a hurry and want something healthy to eat. The only thing I don’t understand is why they don’t sell any steak or beef options, it’s only chicken and pork. I love the chicken fajitas and the Tropichop when I am not too hungry. Will go to any Pollo Tropical in any location always!

Now, I love me some Pollo Tropical. seriously. Where else can you get rice and beans, chicken, and yucca(or maduros) for under $ 5? But seriously UCF Pollo, you need to check yourself! The service was terrible and the place was a pig sty from the first thing I saw walking in: over loaded trash bins spilling out; to the salsa bar being trashed and pretty bare. Not to mention the dirty tables and floor with plenty of workers just looming around! Not cool Pollo. Not cool. I’ll stick to the one closer to downtown, they’re always tip-top.

Generally speaking, I am not a fast food fan, but on occasion fast has to happen. When it does, I look for a Pollo Tropical in the area. Pollo is what I expect from fast food — its fast and it is consistent. Each time I go to one of their locations I know what to expect — decent food and a good turnaround time.

I think it may be just this location. The food is very good. But they are very(painfully) slow. If there’s more then 2 people in line I will go someplace else. Also these people really don’t care about customer service. It’s a real shame as the food is good if you can get it.

I really like Pollo Tropical because it’s a better alternative than your usual fast food joint. The chicken is always pretty fresh and always tasty. I like how you can see the food cooking right there on the grill behind the counter. Pollo Tropical offers a lot of combo meals that would cost you the same as that crappy Extra Value meal from Mickey D’s. They have this new Cuban Wrap that is really delicious. It’s just like your traditional cuban sandwich except wrapped in a warm tortilla. It’s the perfect lunch on the go! The one downside to this location: If I go through the drive-thru, they ALWAYS get my order wrong. Honestly, every single time. I would suggest checking your food before you even pull away from the window. It is definitely a hassle and kinda defeats the purpose of a drive-thru if you have to go inside anyway.

I’m sure that this is the weakest link in an otherwise fine chain. I hope they fix whatever is wrong here. And I found plenty wrong. Mold appeared to be growing on the sliced lemon, glacial, indifferent service, tomato juice instead of salsa, and more. Some cleanser and a mop would be a very good start.
