Hot sauce is SUPER spicy, my wife initially thought it was cilantro sauce due to the color, thankfully she didn’t try that much. I got the seafood with rice, it was like the cheap frozen package of seafood with some rice, nothing great about the flavor, could have made the same thing for $ 6 from publix. My wife got the chicken — it was okay, again, just nothing special about it, nothing to set it apart from anything else.

This place is awesome. The food is worth the price. I recently relocated from Miami and have been missing the quality of Spanish food. This place hits the spot I had the lomo saltado and my boyfriend got the Bandeja Paisa. We ate until we were stuffed and took the leftovers home there was so much food left over it looked like we had placed an order to go. You have to try the empanadas they are so yummy especially with the hot sauce that is on the table. Fair warning it is spicy!!!

Started with a cheese empanadas which was very good. I really liked the two sauces served with it. A white garlic sauce and a green(jalapeño?) sauce which I mixed together. The meal I ordered was a grilled chicken breast that had been butterflied very thinly served with rice and beans. The side I chose was the corn cake. The food was good but nothing really special. Service was extremely slow. I had to ask if my food would be really soon after 40 mins. I may go back but it will definitely never be on a lunch break again.

This is the best restaurant food and experience I’ve had this year so far. Food is so good it’s better I don’t even try to describe it. I can tell you your mouth is definitely going to wake up and you stomach is gonna love it. Very professional and courteous waitresses. Prices are very good and when you put it next to the quality and taste of food. It’s a win win for a customer. I love this place and it only took one time. I had the Mini-Bandeja Paisa. I would kill the chef just because I’m mad and I’ll probably never experience this food anywhere else for a long time. I hate traveling cause when I go home im stuck with the same places to eat and this Pio Pio location will definitely have me coming back. Even if I have to drive over a hour to get to. Come in and check out this place. Ask waitresses for food according to what you may have a taste for.

This place is really good. Both here and the one near I-drive have great food. This location is larger than I-drive. food had large portions, offers larger selections of alcoholic beverages and private seating for small events.

My evening dinner started with cheese stuffed empanadas. I loved the crunchiness of the corn dough casing with the warm cheese oozing out. Next came our drinks. Batido de fruita. It’s a fruit purée with water(which I chose) or milk(smoothie type). It was very sweet and tasted like the real fruit. Just delicious. My main entrée was a seafood chaufa rice. It’s a combination of shrimp, clams, squid, and fish all chopped up and mixed with onion, adobo, other seasonings, and brown rice. It smelt a little fishy and I felt that the seafood was a bit overcooked but it has a great overall flavor. Dessert was crème brûlée. The first one had to be sent back as the topping wasn’t crusted enough. The second one was good. However, I felt the custard was a bit warm. If I went back, is order the chicken soup or the skirt steak.

Very poor service… I’ve came before and it’s been alright… The part that gets me is that they automatically add 20% tip and I’ve never felt like they deserve that much… The server came took my drink order didn’t even make eye contact and then left we have been waiting for 30 minutes for our food… It’s ridiculous… Also they don’t tell you that they include the tip so many times I’ve not paid attention and tipped on top of that… And for crappy service it’s made me very upset… I don’t definitely learned my lesson… Also the food is pretty pricy… There are plenty of good places to go for Spanish food that won’t rip you off…

We hadn’t been to this restaurant in a few years, but decided to give it another go. It was pretty good. The service was excellent. They are famous for their rotisserie chicken. I found it to be the worst of our table’s 4 meals. A bit dry, but seasoned well. The mofongo was solid and the sides were all pretty tasty. We had an enjoyable evening and will go back again.

So glad to be back where we can enjoy this place. A locally owned restaurant this gem has Latin food worth bringing friends out for. Previously only occupying one half of the current location size they expanded and still fill all the seats. The sangria is awesome. My go to is the quarter chicken meal with yellow rice and red beans and sweet plantains. Savory, sweet, salty… it has it all. If you’re really into appetizers the empanada are a good way to go. I’m always stuffed by dessert time so I’d be hard pressed to help you there. Overall: A Like food? You’ll like this place.

Nice atmosphere with good food and service. Prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food, enough to probably share a meal. Most people had leftovers. My two guests and I were however were disappointed with the lack of flavor. Ordered the grilled pork chops, ¼ chicken dark and chicken breast. Not quite good enough to warrant a return visit and more like 3.5 stars.

Very tasty food! It is a little small so sometimes the wait can be long but I can assure you it is worth the wait! I always get chicken dishes and the chicken is always very moist and flavorful.

If you want the best Latin cuisine ever come here! My favorite thing to order is #7. Thin sliced steak with a side of rice beans and fries. Amazing! My fiancé is very picky when it comes to food and she loves this place. You can never go wrong. The people here are very nice and give great customer service. Do not ever go to the other pio pio. The sauces here are amazing so make sure to try them out! Every time I’ve been here I’ve been served in a timely fashion. And it isn’t too expensive. I spend $ 30 for a dinner for two that is very satisfying. Highly recommend.

I had the $ 15 Bandeja Paisa($ 15): Grilled steak, egg sunny side up, pork belly(!), Spanish sausage, rice, beans, ripe plantains, avocado, corn cake. It was amazing. I might have the meat sweats — in a good way!

I have been coming to Pio Pio for several years now. Everyone who I introduce this place to immediately falls in love. Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. The white garlic sauce is the best condiment I’ve ever had. The spicy green sauce is sublime. I only ever get the #9, comprised of grilled chicken breast with grilled onions, and a side of red beans and yellow rice, and I vacillate between the side of maduros and avocado. Having just returned from Peru, I discovered the joy of pisco sours, and Pio Pio does not disappoint. If you’ve never tried one, definitely take a chance on one!

Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!! Good amount of food for the price. Great classic Latin dishes. Great for family and friends. Probably one of the better places to eat in the area. The surrounding area is mostly fast food. So do your self a favor and hit this spot.

Good place with authentic Spanish food. Lovely waiters who take pride in paying attention and bringing what you need, but the set up of the place is a little weird. The door of the bathroom is in the middle of the restaurant and it makes you feel like germs are gonna jump on you. the chairs are very small and one of our 6ft guest was very uncomfortable. The food was good is a cool place for a quick bite. They also have live music sometimes and parking is tight.

I recently visited Pio Pio on a busy Friday night. I was pleasantly satisfied at all the great customer service I received! I have been there plenty of times, but it was never this busy, so I was have been always happy with the services but experience it more on that day. The food was amazing like always, I seriously recommend the Chicken Soup which is one of my favorite meals! And my sister ordered the ceviche and it was actually pretty awesome too~ Pro’s to the owner or manager who was there going from table to table making sure everyone was doing good!

I am not sure if this is under the same umbrella as the other Pio Pio on Kirkman/international drive, but I sure like this one better. Great atmosphere, friendly servers. I went with ceviche as it’s my friend’s favorite and she even got one to go for lunch next day. It is a cold dish with white fish flavored with lime and other different Peruvian ingredients, very tasty, and healthy! I enjoyed my visit very much and definitely will go back again.

One of the best places that we ate in Orlando. Very authentic Latin American food. My friends and I arrived for lunch. This was a spur-the-moment decision as we were shopping around the area. I am very glad we chose this place! Ambiance: Very simple and clean. Service: Our server was very friendly and informative. Given that most of us aren’t too familiar with this type of cuisine, she gave us great info and details that helped with our decisions. Food: I ordered the grilled slice steak with onions and bell peppers. My husband ordered chicken soup and the half chicken plate(both accompanied with safron rice, beans and plantains). I also ordered two empanadas to go(beef and chicken). Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. The chicken soup came out steaming hot. The broth was so flavorful, you could tell that it was shimmered for a while. My steak was well done but it wasn’t dry. The onions and bell peppers were nicely caramelized. My husbands chicken was cooked to perfection. It was very moist and tender. The rice had a good balance, not too salty nor bland. I am not a fan of beans but I could eat theirs any day. It had a soup-like consistency with great seasonings. The empanadas were still amazing the day after. Their homemade garlic sauce was soooo good. There were two kinds, green(spicy) and white(mild). I could smother those sauces on anything! Price: Very decent. Great portion size!

One of my favorite places to eat when I come to Orlando! We usually go to the location on International Drive but this time we checked out the location on Semoran. The food was fresh and came out hot. The green sauce(spicy) and the white sauce(garlic flavor) made the perfect addition to the flavor or the already delicious food. The portions are large enough for me to take home some food for lunch.

Their food was okay, but Cuban sandwich was not pressed or toasted, and the steak sandwich seemed to have an abundance of msg in one of the spices. It was also served on the same chewy roll that was not pressed or toasted which left the bread tasting mediocre. The overall atmosphere was nice, and there was ample seating.

This place has 2 for 1 drinks till 8, unfortunately I got there at 7:50 and I couldn’t get seated and order my drinks by 8 :(. Anyways I had a sangria and it was delicious. I like that they had 2 rooms one was more of a bar area with a television, good place to watch a game and look for latin honeys. For dinner I had my favorite Lomo Saltado, it was pretty good, was bummed out it didn’t come with black beans, but would definitely order it again.
