Biggest pie I ever had! I grew up on the East Coast eating pizza, I have been in California for 40+ years. I MISSREALPIZZA, till last night!

This place really gives you a bang for your buck. So much pizza for so little $$$. The only draw back is that it is always packed. Great for business and the company but not if you just want to grab a quick slice of pizza. The box car willie is the best deal in town!

If you’re in a group, order the whole pie, instead of individual. You save money that way. I love Jason’s mom sauce. It’s worth your money. There’s aluminum foil and plate set up for you if you want to brig your pizza home. There’s a small container to bring pepper flakes or Basil flakes home. You can get water cup which is free to drink water. There are lemons on the side that you can put in your drink. Other lazy moon’s special flavors seem interesting, I want to try them one day!

I love Lazy Moon. There’s nothing lazy about this place. Huge slices cranked out to order while a continually changing array of beers on tap will keep you satisfied while you wait. The old location was definitely college dive(I miss that place) while the new location with its wood and metal theme and garden wall is college chic. Typically packed and loud, today was the perfect hum of a slower Saturday. I’m a huge fan of getting the monstrous 30 inch pizza and splitting it with friends. But if you have to just buy a slice I would hands down get the El Fidel. Literally a Cuban sandwich in pizza form. Weird but it works. I brought my friend who though she is a Florida native had never been to this hallowed pizza ground. She enjoys the monstrous slice with the honey on the side. How could you not?! I tried the calzone for the first time. It’s more like a giant pizza log it’s so big. Easily two meals for average folk; I’ll probably get three out of it. Looking forward to having a location on Mills Ave.

In addition to being a delicious pizzarea and cool hangout spot, they’re also an awesome bar! They have a few hoisemade cocktails and their beer selection is off the chizzain. And, they’ll even put vegan cheese on your pizza(Daiya). Their topping selection includes banana peppers and tempeh! The cheese sticks are nuts. Get garlic on everything. I used to work at Cloudspace(in the same plaza) and we went here almost every day it seems for a while, and then pretty consistently thereafter. You can go fancy and get a gazillion toppings and a craft beer, or just do it cheap and get a PBR and a cheese slice combo for a few bucks. Not sure I really understand the bocce ball thing, to be honest… but to each his own, I suppose. I love this place!

Great pizza joint, filled with college students, but atmosphere is welcoming to all. Don’t be discouraged by the line, you’ll move along quicker than you might imagine. Pies are yummy and the beer selection is impressive offering a wide selection.

One of my favorite places to eat. Cheap, huge slices, good service, and a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. Vertical garden that’s always looking lush and green with a convenient location so close to UCF. I used to go here once a week until my diet, but now I can’t have any pizza. When I do have a cheat day however, this is the spot I’m headed! Side note, doesn’t matter the time of day, which day of the week, rain or shine, they ALWAYS play soccer games on their tv’s. ALWAYS. It’s actually hilarious.

My first visit to Lazy Moon was a great one. I went with some co workers and we all ordered different things and shared. I had a slice of Jason’s Mom and cheese sticks. My co workers had tomato soup, The Buff, Calzones, and Pizza. All I can say is wow. The food is amazing! I love the fact that they are open late and they sit so many people. I hate that the lines are super long. You get your food pretty fast. The beer is good too. I had the Original Sin Elderberry. I don’t normally drink beer but that was tolerable and tasty. I will definitely be going back here!

I’ve been going to Lazy Moon since it originally opened by UCF. It is super delicious and I love the giant pizza slices. The Boxcar Willy has always been my favorite, from the time I was a poor college student to now. Can’t beat that price for a slice and a beer! My only gripe is that it’s always so busy when I try to go, which is usually on a Friday night or the weekends with my work schedule. Sometimes I drive up and see the line out the door and just go to Tijuana Flats instead.

Hot pizza and even Hotter Ladies. No, seriously. The pizza here is large and delicious. By «large» I mean a slice is bigger than your head! Which is always a great thing! Great beer selection with a nice environment to enjoy a pizza and beer. Seating is spacious and there are picnic benches inside to accommodate larger parties. Probably one of my favorite places to eat on the east side of town when I want something unique, and relatively served fast.

I’m a pizza aficionado and have been wanting to try Lazy Moon for months now. It did not disappoint, but it wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had either. Lazy moon is open late(probably to play to the college crowd) and when you enter, the décor is underwhelming and the chairs are rather uncomfortable, but this is not the main reason you come here anyway. Most patrons are college-aged, but you do see some families and couples sporadically seated amongst the crowd. When I went, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal and service was good. Since this was my first time here, I was mesmerized by the large size of the pizzas(if you wore it as a hat, it would probably drape down and cover most of your body… unless you’re a 7-foot tall NBA star or something). There are sooo many choices, including vegan and gluten free options, which I’m always happy to see since I have friends that fall into those categories. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza as well as a slice of Jason’s mom’s pizza, which has chicken, some veggies and sweet chili sauce instead of marinara. As I previously mentioned, the pizza was good, but not the best I’ve tasted. The cheese pizza tasted like your usual cheese pizza and I wasn’t too fond of the sweet chili sauce base for the other slice. However, I would go back so that I could try out the other offerings and because I’m impressed with how big the slices are!

I love the pizzas here and I love how they close late! Top places to go in Orlando! Definitely try Jason’s mom’s pizza, so worth the price!!! If you want beer, there’s a really good deal with one slice and one beer. If you are in group of at least 4 people, order the whole pie. Definitely cheaper this way! It’s $ 4 – 8 more if you want Jason’s mom’s pizza. If you need without cheese, they make it for you and it’s not that bad. I like to drizzle honey on the crust, it tastes pretty good this way. If you can’t flight your slice, ask one of the staff or go up to the side & ask for to go plate. A plate wrap with aluminum foil ready to go. This places gets pretty busy and loud on weekend nights so look out when they’re calling names cuz sometimes it’s hard to hear to hear them.

A UCF staple, Lazy Moon will always hold some fond college memories! There was nothing like going to Lazy Moon on a late Thursday evening and getting a giant slice of cheesy pizza that you can barely cut with the dullest butter knife in all of Orlando. Though they have since moved locations and can now occupy many more people, they still do a wonderful job of remaining a place where community can gather and enjoy delicious food together. Kind people, unique and delicious food options, and a cool college-town environment that is inviting to people of all types. Yummy soups and a pita and hummus plate if you’re not in the mood for pizza. I will forever treasure the tradition that Lazy Moon brings to the Knight Nation!

Huge Slices of Pizza! For a good price too. I came here during a lunch break and really glad that I did. One slice of pizza was more than enough to fill me up on an empty stomach. Friday’s are great because they give you a free dipping sauce. I highly highly recommend trying Jason’s Mom’s Sauce! Sweet and Spicy! Once you order it’s open seating and they also have a bar if you’re looking for drinks. They’ll then call out your name when the order is ready so be sure to listen and that they get your name correct. Other than that I loved the place, can’t find too many pizza places that give you this much for one slice. I look forward to returning and trying a Jason’s Mom’s Slice.

The plan was one slice and a drink, but then I saw that they had homemade Caesar salad dressing, so I obviously had to also get a Caesar salad. Regardless how full I feel right now, I regret nothing. The Caesar salad is your typical Caesar salad but that dressing, DAMN is the best Caesar dressing I’ve had, and place top 5 of my Caesar salads(yes I have Caesar salads list). Wouldn’t expect that from a pizza place. The pizza aren’t just huge, they are really good. I didn’t want to stray from a regular pizza, no bells and whistles to gauge how good that pizza is. The pizza was amazing. The crust, cheese, sauce, toppings(I got pepperoni and Italian sausage) were all great. Will definitely go back, but will stick to one slice next time and the Jason’s Mom Sauce intrigues me.

One of the best places in Orlando for Vegan Pizza! They have daiya shreds, endless toppings, and slices twice the size of their plates.

Holy crap! A pizza slice is bigger than my head! Their pizza is so good though! I went for a plain cheese pizza pie and I shared it with my boyfriend. Very filling, we even had leftovers(unheard of with us)! Although, the leftover pizza wasn’t that great /: the line was long, but it goes by fast. Decent wait time as well.

This place is epic! Fair process, awesome tasting pizza with the liberty to custom make your own pie or slice. If you are a pizza fan, you have to try this place. Also, the customer service is ok, considering the place is ALWAYSPACKED! Always, but it’s that good. A lot of younger people, since it’s near UCF, so be ready for a noisy place. Another awesome thing about this place is that it opens late in the weekdays and even later in the weekends. Now, if you like alcohol, you will also enjoy this place. I am not big on alcoholic beverages, but my fiancé is a fan of whisky and artesian beers… This place has a wide variety to choose from. They also have awesome tasting sangria, which I did try and loved. Two thumbs up for this place!

While staying at Disney’s Swan & Dolphin Hotel, my boyfriend and I decided to venture out for some pizza. When you walk in the door — you’ll be amazed at how many college kids are inside this pizza joint. It’s highly due to the fact that UCF is right down the street. This is a loud restaurant, so if your looking for somewhere calm and quiet — this place isn’t for you. This place offers a nice selection of appetizers, pizza slices, pizza pies, calzones, melts, soups, and salads. The prices seem pretty decent. My boyfriend and I both decided to order the«Good Life». He ordered 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of pepperoni with a soda($ 8.85). I ordered 2 slices of cheese with a soda($ 8.00). The pizza had a nice flavor and a nice ratio of cheese to sauce to dough. I wouldn’t say this is my favorite pizza, but it’s pretty good. Just remember — the pizza slices are HUGE. You could probably share the«Good Life» with someone. My boyfriend had a hard time finishing his 2 slices & I sure enough didn’t finish mine.

Lazy moon is a popular pizza joint among Orlando college students and I can see why. For a modest 6 to 7 dollars, you get a simply massive slice of pizza(3 – 4 times the size your average mainstream pizza). The place is bustling with college students and indie music, so be warned if you dislike a noisy and chaotic dining environment. Overall, the food is particularly high quality and the presentation is minimal. The pizza is served on heavily worn aluminum trays sans paper with silverware to assist you on your Lazy Moon pizza expedition. If you can pick up this monster with your hands and bite into it, consider yourself blessed with extraordinary pizza-eating abilities. The only downside I experienced with Lazy Moon was menu inaccuracy. The ‘Down Home’ pizza was supposed to be your typical BBQ chicken pizza, listed with«BBQ Sauce, Chicken, Red Onions, Bacon, and Mozzarella.» It turns out that Lazy Moon’s version of BBQ sauce is hot sauce, and their bacon turned out to be thick slices of fried ham. It was tasty, but it just wasn’t what I ordered. Maybe the next time I dine here, it will be worthy of another star.

I am a huge fan of the«slice-as-big-as-your-head”-style pizza, and this place absolutely does it right. I came in with a friend on a Saturday night, found a pretty short line(my friend had seen it out the door before), and grabbed a menu. It took me four seconds to decide what kind of pizza I wanted(a slice of El Fidel, basically a Cuban sandwich on a pizza), maybe ten seconds to ask for a sample of one of their draft beers(Swamp Head Hydroslide) and then enthusiastically order a pint, and then maybe a minute to find a free space to sit. I enjoyed my delicious beer and watched all the other pizzas making their way to the tables, and it wasn’t long until my slice arrived! I highly recommend El Fidel if you are a fan of pork, mustard, and pickles, as this slice was pretty much covered in them. The Mojo pork was moist and well seasoned, the pickles were just crunchy and sour enough, the cheese was plentiful but not too gooey… it was fantastic. Because the slice was literally bigger than my head, I saved about half of it for the next day, and I can attest that refrigerated El Fidel is just as good if not better. My only complaint is that the untopped crust, of which there were about three or four inches at the top, was pretty chewy on day two. The topped crust was fantastic both days, so I’m not sure if that’s a refrigeration issue or not. I’ll have to find out when I return!

There are not even words for how wonderful this place is. I went to UCF for 2 years and spent most of my weekends drinking and eating at Lazy Moon. First of all, the atmosphere is on point — metal and wood tables, a plant wall, vintage Floridian décor on the walls. They also have a «bocce ball» court and large TV’s to watch sports. The whole place has a very«hipster» vibe. This includes the staff who all seem very young, very casual/friendly, and very trendy. Second of all, the drink selection! Wonderfully cool craft beers on draft(ciders too). They also feature $ 1 Pabst Blue Ribbon… need I say more? I’m more of a cider/mixed drink person myself so I always get their Cigar City: Fight the Power Sour which is delicious. They also have margaritas, White Russians, red and white wines, etc. Third — and most important — the pizza! Holy freakin crap. It’s huge. It’s delicious. It’s cheap. It’s truthfully my favorite slice of pizza anywhere. I recommend trying some of their pizzas they put together like«El Fidel»(which is essentially a Cuban sandwich on a pizza) or «Jason’s Mom». You can also create your own slice, altering the toppings and even the sauces(the pesto base rocks). They have selections for vegetarians, as well. All in all, if you go to UCF or live in the Oviedo/Orlando area, you’re not actually living unless you’ve gone here.

The pizza here is AMAZING! You order what you would like at the counter and the servers will yell out your name and bring it to your table. The portions are great. I love the crust on the pizza, thin and crispy. I like the fact that the cheese is fairly light. The price for what you get is great. I was only in Florida for two days and I had to come both days. The cashier who was orginally from Sacramento was super nice and friendly! I have no idea what her name was, but she saw my bf and I on the second day and came by our table to ask how we were doing. Honey on pizza is so good! I would have NEVER imagined but SOMUCHYES! It is definitely worth a try. I got the plain cheese pizza with one topping(bacon) and drizzle honey on top and enjoy!

I really enjoy picking your own toppings and have it made to order. The more toppings you have the more expensive it gets! I definitely would need to slip down the next time. I had chosen garlic, fresh mushrooms, italian sausage, pepperoni and basil. I like variety! My only complaint is that I wish they had some more appetizers to snack on while you wait on your pizza. The atmosphere is loud and industrial, its a great space to hang out and have a few brewski’s.
