Amazing dogs, I had a molten lava, a red neck & a ruckus. OMG

The hot dogs were very tasty! I love the knish, too! Only turn-off was that everything was microwaved other than that, the menu had really good selections

Pretty good dogs here. Across from the amtrack but i never would have found it without Unilocal.I had the carolina dog which was good but messy(im cool with that) and my wife had the Mediterranean and she said it was«different» whatever that means. Probably will go back 1 day if im in the area

Need a hotdog with a pretzel bun topped with melted cheese and bacon and pulled pork… with perfect kinish on the side… need it at nine in the morning… need it late at night… want to enjoy tube form goodness that would make Anthony Bourdain smile… never fear… Jazzy Dog is here… you will be dining with locals and foodies and amtrack customers… and you will leave with a smile already planning what concoction of toppings you will try next time.

I’m usually very boring when it comes to hot dogs. Give me a zig-zag of spicy mustard and I’m set. Every once in a while I’ll break out of my comfort zone and have a chili dog, but that’s about it. That was until Jazzy Dog Café introduced me to hot dog perfection. The Red Neck Dog: Chili, Bacon, Pulled Pork, Cole Slaw & Hot Sauce! Bacon, Chili ANDPULLEDPORK! One one hot dog! Is that even legal? As far as I’m concerned the rest of the menu doesn’t exist. I with they were open later than 7:30 on the weekends because artery clogging hot dogs would make for a great fourth-meal.

This is why Unilocal is dangerous. I see good reviews by trusted Unilocalers and I think I’ll just go there for lunch. It’s 15 miles away, a 20 minute drive if I take the highway. For hot dogs. That’s crazy, right? I mean, even if I eat fast it’s still a 40-minute round trip plus the time to order and eat. No one in their right mind would do this. Yet, I’m sitting here thinking about it, wondering what the best way is to shave a couple of minutes off of that drive time, because I’m going to do it again. And again. The owner’s affable demeanor and upbeat attitude makes you feel like a regular by the end of your first visit. The dogs are amazing — I got a Jazzy Dog and a California Dog, which were both delicious even though they were out of the pretzel rolls for the Jazzy Dog at the time. Other dogs on the list have already been earmarked in my head for future visits. Bottom line, I can’t wait to come back. What a great place.

The dogs are good — they offer authentic, dirty-water hot dogs and brats as options, and you can’t go wrong with either — and the toppings range from the traditionally artery-clogging to the more eclectic. Beans, bacon, pulled pork and cheese abound, though my selection — the mediterranean dog with feta, banana peppers and olives — didn’t have any of those, but I think I’ll be hitting up the«redneck dog»(with all of the above) next time. Some of the specialty dogs on the menu also included ingredients like pepperoni or avocado, so there is pretty much guaranteed to be something for everyone. I also tried the fries and they were okay — they are greaseless, cooked with hot air — so I recommend you spring for the slather-it-in-cheese option to undo all the healthy effects of that. The real draw here beyond the food, though, is if you’re into the hole-in-the-wall diner vibe. Belly up to the bar and chat with the very friendly and funny owner, Rich, for a while and enjoy the fact that you’re in a delightfully nonpretentious spot, with random locals and Amtrak patrons drifting in and out. Tip: On street parking for the most part, so bring quarters. Also, there’s a Unilocal checkin discount — woot!

I would have never known this place ever existed had it not been for those fun soccer boys of Orlando City. Apparently, this is their place to come post game, and I, being in the care of the Ruckus supporters group was in tow to meet and greet at this place. My God, I’m thankful they showed me this little gem. I have been here a few times now, and the problem I have everytime is that I have no idea what I’m going to order. Too many appetizing sounding choices, my brain just wants to shut down. My stomach screams«Feed the Fat Boy!» and my mind shouts back in a panic«Which One?! Which One?!» I love blue cheese, so the Jazzy Dog sounded wild enough to give a shot, and I have to say, it was a pretty good choice. My personal WTFOMGTHISISSOGREASYBUT I LOVEIT is the Italian Dog. Pepperoni on a hot dog? Eh, What the Hell, I’ll give it a shot! Yup. It’s pretty good. However, I have to say the BBQ dog and the California dog are my two favorites. Even though I harbor secret dreams of California breaking off and floating away in the next earthquake, I have to grudgingly admit that they started the whole idea of «Avocados on Anything» trend in this country, making it much more available to me. The BBQ Dog however harkens back to my days of living in the South; BBQ sauce, like avocados, just goes well on anything. Light it up. This is a great, unassuming little dog place. No fancy stuff, but a lot o’ heart, and that goes a long way. They haven’t fallen short yet with me, and I’m hoping they never do. Now on to those knishes that I seem to have somehow overlooked on that menu!

Finally made it out to Jazzy Dog today. Been seeing the reviews for a while, and I knew they had soy dogs so it was high time to give it a shot. The place can be a bit hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area, it’s kind of set on a side street behind the ORMC hospital complex. It’s a tiny little place, set on a block with a couple other restaurants, right across from the Amtrak station. What I loved about Jazzy Dog is that it is just what it is, and nothing more. You’re not going to find a caviar dog here, or a special $ 45 Kobe beef dog, this is a hot dog joint, pure and simple. The toppings aren’t fancy, the cheese on the cheese fries is whiz, the fries are Ore Ida«fast food» fries, and they make no bones about it. The place might fall under the category of «dive» but that’s what a hot dog joint SHOULD be! So you’re reading this and thinking«OK, so what’s so great about it?» When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the owner and his employee. People seem to know each other there. I showed my Unilocal check-in on the phone and received a 10% discount. The owner chatted with me a bit and told me a couple funny stories about Unilocal reviews. The food, while not«gourmet» by ANY stretch of the imagination, was delicious, hit the spot, and our total bill for two dogs, fries, and a couple drinks was about $ 11. You really can’t argue with the value. When we left, both of them again warmly thanked us for coming in, and wished us a nice day. Jazzy Dog strikes me as a cool neighborhood spot owned by a great guy who seems to really care about his business, his customers, and his community. We were surrounded by nurses, cops, and then a fire truck pulled up and they came in too. Clearly a popular spot. I will definitely be returning, and if you haven’t tried it out and are looking for a delicious cheap lunch(or dinner some nights) I think you should get your butt over to Jazzy Dog and give it a try!

Rich and Karen are some of the nicest folks around. After Johnnie’s Between The Buns(the hotdog shaped truck next to the Loving Hut) disappeared from Viet-town I had to find another hot dog joint to satisfy my dog-cravings. One day, just before I headed to Tampa on the Amtrak I noticed the Jazzy Dog. Cute little place with amazing food(the knishes are amazing!) and super friendly staff. Stop by, you won’t regret it.

My boyfriend Mike LOVES hotdog eateries but I can’t stand the thought of going to a «hot dog heaven» type please. One of the Living Social’s deals this week was for $ 8 you get a $ 16 credit to Jazzy Dogs. My boyfriend jumped on it, and I’m so glad he did! We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and we took a couple minutes to look over the menu. I was sold on the special which was a Red Neck Dog with a knish. Mike ordered that plus a BLT dog, and a bleu cheese cole slaw dog. The Red Neck dogs were AMAZING! It was a good sized dog topped with pulled pork, chili, bacon, and hot sauce. I would suggest skipping fries and try one of the knishes. It was perfectly cooked(crispy on the outside, soft and potato-ey on the inside) and topped with cheese and sour cream. yum. The prices were very reasonable, the hotdogs range from $ 2-$ 4 each, which works well for being on a budget. This Orlando local joint is defiantly worth giving a try!

In a world of stale, redundant dining, Jazzy Dog stands as a beacon of hope for those of us begging for a unique thought in Orlando area eateries. Its eccentric, low cost, and most importantly original. Delicious is insultingly under descriptive. There’s no other place in Orlando to get all these delicious combinations of toppings and tastes. The hot dog is, to Jazzy Dog Café, simply a blank canvass on which all the world’s pleasantries spring forth in combinations as diverse as the universe is expansive. Vegans and vegetarians unite! This diner has you covered with soy substitutes for every dish. The place is dripping in authentic Orlando culture. Only miss out on this place if you absolutely hate yourself.

A Jazzy Dog is that thing where you take a dog, and make it wear shoes and dance next to a midget with white gloves and a clown nose in front of a group mixed with adults and kindergartners that don’t understand language yet. Just kidding, I love the name, and really enjoyed the hot dogs and they have MIND-BLOWING Knish! I thought I was just getting out of the Port Authority in New York City when i took a bite of this baked delicacy. Best Bets: anything with pulled pork on it(including hot dogs), the knish, and basically anything with a bun. This is all you could ever ask for from a hot dog café’- the service is excellent, the hospitality is unparalleled, the food is mouthwatering, and they are within walking distance of the Orlando Brewing co. They also sponsor The Orlando City Soccer Club. a true undiscovered ruby in the Orlando foodie scene — I wish there would be more surrounding this location, but they have a cart that can be seen around town.

I have been told by Chris R to check this place out various times and FINALLY made it over there yesterday. It is not what I expected at all, in a good way. I knew exactly where it was since it’s directly across from the train station right behind Orlando Brewing. I guess the reason I have not stopped in before is because I am not a huge hotdog person. However, I was pleased to find a wide variety of other items including cheeseburgers, pork sandwiches and knish! I went for the pulled BBQ pork sandwich and as soon as I read the description of the knish: it was whipped potatoes(like the texture of a twice baked potato) deep fried with cheddar cheese and bacon bits on top… YESPLEASE! I have never had a knish before but Peter M has and he tasted it and said it was perfect. The outside was crunchy and the inside was soft and delicious. The cheddar cheese and bacon was perfect for the topping and really made me want to order two more, it was delicious. I will def be back for more of those! The pork was actually quite tasty, more tasty than some other local BBQ joints around. The bun was ok, it was a toasted kaiser but I thought it was a little too toasted and could have used a possible garlic or Aioli type of spread. Another huge plus was the extremely clean location and they offered a 25% check-in offer on Unilocal, score!!! The owner Rich, came and sat with us to chat about Orlando as well as our first experience at Jazzy Dog. He was very nice and you could hear his passion in serving local Orlando. They also have a hot dog cart and it’s always set up outside the train station! You can also find them at some local food truck meet ups and much more to come in the near future! Stop in, grab some great local food and chat, you won’t be disappointed.

I got a chance to try Jazzy dog at the Plaza Live food truck event. There wasn’t a line because I think most people were focused on the«truck» aspect of event but they were missing out. I am a dog lover and a food lover, so I love what they stand for. They were also the most friendliest there. Not that the other venders were not friendly it was just that Jazzy Dog went that extra step. I tried the Jazzy dog which was great. I loved the pretzel bun, it was not too salty and the sabrett hotdog was juicy and delicious. My only complaint was that I was getting pretty full and this is a dog that is packed with blue cheese slaw and a sweet potato mustard which can be overwhelming but I did enjoy it, I’d appreciate it more on an empty stomach. This means if you plan on eat a jazzy dog make sure you have room. I think the hotdog itself is so delicious. Next time I think I’m getting some sauerkraut on it. Yum!

I don’t know how many different ways you can prepare a hot dog, but this place must know most of them. The location is great, across thge street from the amtrck station, it must have been a real happening place 60 years ago, a bit quieter now, very nostalgic. They have charity events here and the owners work the store and make some really nice food.

Any place with great food and enthusiastic, friendly owners gets a huge pair of thumbs up from me! I love hot dogs with loads of toppings(especially sauerkraut) so after using my Unilocal app to find a new place to eat, we decided to hunt this place down. They have a ton of different hot dog toppings to choose from(and bratwurst options too!). I had the BBQ Dog and it was incredibly messy but really yummy! The owner checked in on us after the rush of people catching their trains and was really proud to let us know that he makes everything to order. If you’re a fan of old school style hot dogs with lots of delicious toppings, you need to try Jazzy Dog.

Ooh I think we found a hot dog place we’ll be visiting more often. Jazzy Dog is a smaller café located right across the street from the Amtrak Station on a quiet street(at least, when we came it was a Saturday afternoon and seemed dead). The inside is filled with bar stools and table tops, so you’ll have somewhere to sit. What we liked about it is how friendly the staff behind the counter were, welcoming us as soon as we walked through the door and directing us to the menus so we can see what they have. They make the food right in front of you — nothing is prepped ahead of time to ensure that your food is fresh and the quality is first. They have a wide variety of hot dogs to choose from — toppings galore. There should be something to please any hot dog connoisseur(I had to Google that spelling: D). They also have burgers, ice cream, and even bought a $ 10k coffee machine which the owner(or manager) was raving about. That’s another think I liked about this visit. We walked in right after a rush(apparently they get rushes every time a train stops at the station from travelers) so it was a bit hectic behind the counter. But as soon as it died down, the manager came right out and apologized if they were a little slow with the service, explaining about the rushes(we felt there was no inconvenience, and thought the service was great). He asked if we were from around town, and said to come back and try all the other hot dogs. I’m looking forward to their newest creation — The Redneck Dog. It’s topped with Pulled Pork, Chili, Bacon, Coleslaw, and Hot Sauce. OMGSOUNDSGOOD! Overall, a wonderful experience and great food. I’ll definitely be a returning customer as I do love my hot dogs. Close to home, friendly staff, good food. ‘Nuff Said

I gotta give the place props for agreeing to host a Dachshund(wiener dog) event there. Not only are the dogs crazy and overzealous about everything, so are there owners. The place is small and the wieners are nothing special, but its inexpensive and there are a lot to choose from. If your in the area and need a quick bite and happen to like hot dogs this may be your new spot. Thank you so much for helping out the Central Florida Dachshund Rescue, Someones gotta help those who cant help themselves.

I picked up my friend at the Amtrak station once a while ago and noticed a few restaurants across the street. This is an area I’ve never been in despite having lived in this town for 25 damn years, just never had any reason to find myself in this neighborhood. I like the feel of this little block, turns out there are 3 places to eat right next to each other. The name Jazzy Dog was the one that caught our eye so we put it on our list of stuff to try when we were hungry. That was many months ago, finally yesterday we went to try it. The main issue is I don’t really like hot dogs. Something about the oils in them doesn’t sit right with my stomache so I rarely eat them. I know I’m weird, most people like dogs. Luckily Jazzy Dog serves other items too. I just knew they would have Knishes, a lot of hot dog places do. I love Knishes. Jazzy Dog has a few different versions, with different toppings. I chose the one with cheddar cheese an sour cream on top. It was real tasty! I could eat one of these every day. For my main course I got the Reuben sandwich, which is made with corned beef and sauerkraut if you didn’t know. I often order Reubens if they are available, in fact I had one two days earlier in New Jersey. The problem with Reubens at some places is the bread gets too toasted and cuts up my mouth when I eat it. Also they are often stuffed too full of meat so it’s hard to eat. Jazzy did it right though, enough meat to satisfy but not so thick and crusty that it hurt. It came with my two favorite sides, macaroni salad and coleslaw. They have soda and unsweet tea on tap. Lots of topping options for your hot dog, I mean lots! Ones I remember are Avocado spread, Blue Cheese slaw, but there are many more. We got to talking to the owner and he was real cool, turns out he just bought Jazzy Dog about a month ago, so go support a local business.
